This summer house comes in many parts to make all of it fit on a standard pallet to make it cheaper to ship, if I'd of known this I would not of purchased it! The front consists of 4 panels the sides have 3 panels each the back has 2 panels the floor has 2 panels which I had to trim the over lapping boards so I could put them together. The roof is made up of 3 sheets of OSB which in my opinion are way to thin! After my installer had put this together he told me it's way to flimsy also he noticed the doors where badly warped and said he wouldn't continue with the build and recommend I return it for full refund. At the time I decided to go with his professional advice and contacted the shed store who past it onto Forest Garden.co.uk who passed it onto Fencing Direct.co.uk whom my credit card payment was made to. Eventually they got back to me and said they would replace the doors and send me new ones also my installer said if I was keeping it I should ask for money back to pay for plywood to line the inside to strengthen up the summer house as it was so wobbly which they agreed and have me £60 towards this. When I got the doors delivered from a courier they were shrink wrapped and when I opened it they were damp inside but straight so I decided to leave them flat on the floor under shelter for a month to dry fully but I noticed they started curling up badly. My installer told me in his professional opinion both sets of doors have been made of green wood that's why they twisted and warped. My installer didn't want any part of continuing with the build so I took it on myself to do it myself After I finished the whole summer house the doors where horrendous The 2 doors where nearly 10mm narrower at the top than they where at the bottom therefore the weather strips where not wde enough to cover the gap also the turn button for the top did not reach across because of the horrendous gap also one door was sticking out at the top by 6 inches and the other way going the opposite way at the bottom. There where many other problems two of the plexiglass window where too big I had to cut off 5mm from each one to make them fit I had to make small panels to fill in on the lower part of the top edge of the two side panels as there were big gaps also many other smaller problems, so at this point I wished I'd of taken notice of my installer and not went ahead myself. So I contacted the shed store to ask for compensation if not a full refund. They again offered £60 compensation, initially they offered £40, which I refused

Very good construction at a reasonable price

Shed actually came from Yardmaster Northern Ireland, also a great company, their driver who delivered the shed couldn’t be more helpful, gave me a call day before delivery, to see if there were any special instructions. A couple of scratches on the shed, company posted some touch up paint immediately.

After being bombarded several times about leaving a review here it is. First of all I noticed that as soon as you receive your delivery they will keep contacting you to leave a review but what’s the point?? Nobody wants to really know about the delivery or the process tbh. And if you look at several of the reviews they all just say yes the ordering and delivery process was smooth and good. I agree with that part that the ordering was easy to do and delivery went ok even tho it was 5 hours late. The driver was very helpful and unloaded it all with help from my builder so well done. Now to the main part the SHED. Honestly if myself and my colleague were not professional carpenters this shed wouldn’t have been made. The instructions are diabolical and so vague. None of the parts are numbered or labelled and a lot of the panels don’t fit as easy as they say. Also it’s so weird that you’re having to guess what goes where and that they don’t give proper in detail instructions. The windows don’t fit the slots that were made for it and then the panels were too short. Luckily I’m a builder so was able to make it work and get it sorted. A lot of the battons were chipped and 3 were even broken. Over all yes we managed to get it built and it seems like a sturdy decent shed but don’t think you get value for money in my honest opinion. Also it all arrived wet which isn’t ideal if you plan to paint or varnish it. Also the windows are flimsy plastic and not of great quality. Overall I’ve given 3 stars as that’s the most I think they deserve. I really think they make the instructions vague and minimal so you have to call them out to get it built for you as it doesn’t make sense otherwise. Also it’s general instructions for several different types of sheds so it’s not exactly for the one you buy. Hope you can finally stop harassing me about this review.

Easy to order and Gary T was great with the delivery. Would have preferred if the wood was dry when it arrived as we want to paint/stain it so need to wait for it to dry. A text message when half and hour away would also be useful, if you can track on a map (that isn’t up-to-date all the time) you should be able to automate a text message with a more accurate time - would be very helpful.
