Very quick reasonable price but engineer was rude refused to leave tenant’s kitchen until paid and sent curt messages to my phone while I was in teams meeting and unable to respond to his demand to be paid there and then

The issue is still not resolved despite two visits - the engineer seems intento in insisting that the issue is fixed when it is not - I now await a third visit on Monday

This is the service to use. I put the job on the system after 10 am today and before 11 am Derek Coombes had confirmed he would be here by 2 pm. At 1 pm Derek arrived and by an hour later he had repaired the washing machine and cleared up after himself, having politely keeping me informed and throughout the process. Derek was friendly and efficient, and did not even want a cuppa or the toilet (though both were offered). I was more than happy to pay the bill (less than £100 including the VAT. I am keeping Derek’s business card, because from now on he is my go-to appliance repair person. It is good to know that an honest, polite same day service repair man is still available. If you need an appliance repairing in the Corby/Market Harborough area, I can heartily recommend Derek Coombes and Service Site Domestic Appliances.

The engineer arrived within 20 minutes of our initial enquiry, examined the failing fridge-freezer and gave a fixed price for the replacement of the failed unit. The operation was completed less than 48 hours later - having sourced the required part. Communication throughout was excellent.
