I have ordered from Saltwater a number of times and haven’t had any problems. This are good and honest people
I have mixed thoughts about this store. The good thing is their customer service is great and they back up their live fish guarantee the con is that I would say about 1/3 of the fish don't live which I have to say they do back up but that refund has to be on top of another order at regular price. Overall this is a good company and they have always treated me fairly. It is what it is with live fish shipped on an airplane. On a scale of 10 I would give them a 7 on the fish but a 10 on their customer service.
I purchased a Blue Hippo Tang in December, and even picked it up early from the Fedex location. The bag had leaked water while in transit and had ruined the heating pack, because the packing material was soaking wet and quite cold. The fish itself was not in good condition, he was very pale white and almost lifeless. He just sunk to the bottom and would stay there. I immediately contacted saltwaterfish.com and they said to just watch him. I guess because he was technically alive, they seemed that it was good enough to not do anything. I was able to keep him alive for two months by hand feeding him and keeping him in quarantine. The whole time he would just lay on the floor or swim upside down. He died yesterday. Support said there wasn't anything they would do. I was hoping I found a new place to buy fish since my usual site shutdown, but the fact that customer support really didn't care, I can't continue to buy from them. This fish was way to expensive for them to not make sure he arrives healthy.
Saltwaterfish.com is awesome to do business with. The girls i have dealt with are super nice and helpful. Even down to them holding packages during this horrible winter storm. And the owner emailing all us about it. They have great selection and good prices and even better during a sale. My only downside to saltwaterfish.com is the price of coral seems to be astronomical compared to other companies. But for fish, inverts and a great staff its hard to beat. with only $110 for product shipping $100+$10 box charge. All orders are charged a box fee. But its worth it their boxes are nice and animals are boxed and packed with their welfare in mind.

Had a credit for a fish that died. I would order enough for free shipping then when they added the credit they subtracted the free shipping which is 19.99 and then a 9.99 boxing charge. It’s just too much and I will not be ordering again given so many good options

I had a colony come in that didn't make it due to fedex messing up, Sheila in customer service helped me in getting a replacement and goes to show how wonderful saltwaterfish's business is. I never have problems with any of the corals I have bought off them just a couple of problems when it comes to FedEx.
I have made numerous orders with saltwaterfish and the have done a phenomenal job of receiving my orders and shipping them in a timely manner! The fish are great quality and you get what you pay for! The do a great job a replacing dead fish upon arrival or if the perish in you tank! I will continue to buy from this place because the customer service is great! Highly recommended!

As far as saltwater fish goes they are great. I ordered a few fish and an anemone and some cleaners. They package shipped out and eas delivered with in 24 hours. Two of my fish were dead. Blue hippo and pajama cardinal. I reported this and they had refunded one and shipped another blue hippo the next day. My complaint is their shipping company is terrible. The fish showed up with a water temp of 54 degrees Fahrenheit. And the second shipment was sent out on wednesday at 12 PM. It is 3 PM on Friday and still no package delivered. Now I know the fish is going to be dead when it gets here but I do it like he fact that no one has to sign for th package. It just gets dropped and left on the door step. I think that is a little obsurd. We pay good money for these fish and yet they will just have them dropped and hanging out.
Sadly our first fish here did not make it but excellent warranty and customer care, so willing to try again...
When I received my fish the water temp was down to 65 deg. and two fish were dead! Called them and left a message and no return phone call. Last time I buy for Saltwaterfish.com

Everything was very good, the online selections, delivery was quick. The packing of the items was excellent but given that it is winter time and it is pretty cold; the live products have to be able to be kept warm. The heating pads used didn't do there job so a few fish were dead on arrive because the temperature was cold. I would still buy from them and recommend this company.
