You customer service reps are hard to get answer out of them. I want more responsive people.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

The single most frustratingly difficult and incompetent company I have ever worked with. Harder to cancel than a gym membership. Reps have no information and just kick you around. Had to literally find the manager's, manager's email ON MY OWN in order to get any kind of response from them. My account manager had ghosted us immediately after we signed up, because they had lied about what the product included. Worst part. Our A2P 10DLC TCR registration was still "in review" after 35 BUSINESS DAYS. The maximum window is 20 business days, and i've never seen it take that long. Their registration department promised us it would be completed that week, once a week, for three weeks straight. We signed up for JustCall, did our registration, and had it approved in a week... all while still waiting for RingCentral and being given the runaround. Run away from this company if you value your time or money or mental health.

This company is AWFUL! The customer service sucks the phone system sucks. I tried to port out my number it took them 14 days just to port out my number to my new carrier! 1. You can't speak to the porting dept over the phone. You have to send an email! 2. When you do send an email they don't read the emails. 3. I sent an email requesting to expedite my request because AGIAN ring central puts a timeframe when they will release my number to a new carrier. 4. The porting dept wants to continue to go back and forth to then tell me I have to wait for the timeframe! They lied via email telling me it's my carrier who put the date on the request even though I had a different rep send me documentation of the request. In fact it was Ring Central who added this pointless date! So here I am a business customer who had to pay my new carrier along with ring central just to port my number over to a new carrier! Be aware! Don't use them! They are cheap for a reason!!! They don't offer FREE TEXT MESSAGES. You have to pay for that. Smh. We are in 2024 by the way.

The support agent had no clue what I was talking about and insisted in being the go between me and next level support. I am an IT professional with 40 yrs experience and I felt like I was speaking with a 5-year old child. When I respectfully asked to be transferred to advanced support, or his manager, he refused to do so stating that he needed permission and wasn't being responded to by his manager or advanced support. I can find better places to waste 2 hours!

We have been an RC customer for a few years at this point. My experience thus far with RC has to be split into 2 categories. Phone Service: Picking up the phone and getting a dial tone, for the most part works OK. The engineers are rolling out new features and have been improving stability. The mobile app works pretty well. The downside is they keep moving things in the UI and in the management portal. Every time I get into manage something it has moved or been consolidated, and I have to go hunting for it. Consistency of the UI seems to be a struggle for both IT and the end user. Account Management: Support: It takes 30-45 minutes + to get to a first line tech and then you have to go through the first line scripted responses before you can get a tier 2 tech to address your issue if it's complicated. Support tickets if created on the portal go days, weeks, months or never addressed. You can create a portal ticket, but you will be calling in to reference it and get it addressed. Several times my tickets get no resolution or just dropped and never addressed. Example: I ordered 2 desk phones. Once through the support portal - got lost / never sent. Once through calling support - got lost / never sent. Once through amending my contract with the account manager - got lost / never sent / they lost the contract amendment and wanted me to do it again. Now if I call phone support, the VRU tells me I have multiple hardware tickets open, but the techs and account managers can't find them. Account Management: Admin: I support several of my employer's businesses and have 3 of them on RC. I can't get a single Acc Mgr. I have 3 Acc Mgrs + a Customer Success Mgr. Acc Mgrs tend to change every 6 months and they all want to "Catch up, find out about the business" and sell us more. None of them want to resolve any issue or talk to each other. Getting any of them on the phone is a royal pain and they almost never follow up with you. You will always be chasing them down to get updates on anything. Summary: The technical service is not fantastic, but it is OK for the most part and all the basics work like they should. The administrative side is miserable at best. Lots of promises made very little follow through. I really can't recommend RC to anyone else and won't put them at any of my other companies.

We have used RC as our primary communication tool, and everything has worked fine for our company's needs.

I am very satisfied with our customer services manager, Madeline. She is always available to assist us with our requests, new orders, and system functionality questions. I gave this 5-start score because of the great service I get from Madeline. The system itself is working fine as expected. No complaints there.

Ring Central will tell you the truth about your billing and services. That is most important to a small business.

There are some calls that come in too late & don´t give us the time to answer. But the quality is very good!

Chuck Calvin 07 August 2024, 21:21

Call quality is generally good, and Ring Central has been very dependable. Those factors matter more than anything else. I'm a one-lawyer law firm with no support staff or co-workers, so I don't use, and can't evaluate, many of the "internal team" functions that Ring Central offers. Although I have my system set up with the name of my law firm specified as to how my calls are to be displayed for caller ID purposes, people I've called tell me that my calls show up as "Georgetown, CO", which is not my firm's name and is nowhere near my location.

customer 07 August 2024, 04:05

Your product is great for certain things but our firm is old school and attorneys don't want to log in and do things themselves, they want staff to do it. Like conference calls - they want us to dial the phone, get everyone on the line and leave the call. Your product does not allow that option. Not everyone wants to make their own calls in the legal field.
