I sent my Samsung S7 Edge to Rapid Phone Buyer after they said they would pay me £166 if was in good condition and good working order which it was after they received the phone they tried changing the price to £65 saying it had screen burn and a dent on the side of the phone so I declined their offer and requested they send the phone back to me, when I received the phone back I checked the phone again their is no screen burn or dent on the phone .it seems to me that they want to give you a low price and make a good profit on the phone by making false claims and hoping you will take the price they have offered.
I have always traded my phones (minimum 7 years). This time I decided to send my phone to this company, even after reading some reviews reporting being quoted on price and then receiving an email quoting another. Lo and behold the same thing happened to me (usually I don't write about experiences like this) and to be honest I am peeved. I got an email quoting less than half price and advising me that there was a crack on the back of my phone. After speaking to a customer service agent I was told that it wasn't a crack but a chip (I knew this) but in terms of cosmetic damages, I would say it falls within this category. I was then told it had heat burn under on the screen (Which you cannot see with the naked eye apparently. What I dont understand is why this was not mentioned, as surely anyone that has had a phone for over a year would have the same issue? Very dissatisfied- which is why I have asked for my phone to be sent back. The only reason I am giving this company a 2 star rating is they had good customer service and they are sending my phone back to me.
