Had an online offer of £173, then notified almost a week later that phone had bad scratches and something wrong with the colour? so offered £60, I take care of my phones with screen protectors and covers! I sent back to vodafone who said there were no problems what so ever and sold privately for £250, they claim to offer a 24hr sale which was a load of croc as nearly 10 days I had to wait, disgusting service. !st and last time I will use an online company

Prompt reply (sorry mine wasn't as I was on holiday) though I would have expected a little more cash but it's far better than the phone languishing in a drawer or going to landfill.

Really quick from start to finish
Absolutely brilliant. Have always sold my old mobiles through MAZUMO but was not happy about the service they provided and stumbled across Rapid Phone Buyer who were efficient and top class all the way. Received the postage pack the next day and sent this off with no trouble and received an email 24 hours later. They reduced the offer due to a problem with the screen but only reduced it by £12 whereas MAZUMO offered £105 less. MAZUMO definitely trying to pull a fast one and have since seen a number of reviews saying the same thing so lost all trust in them now. Rapid Phone Buyer all the way from now onwards...

Quick, easy and excellent service. Definitely recommend.
As other reviews have stated, I sent got on online quote of £156 for my phone and sent it off. I then received an email saying that there was a problem with the screen and that there was some slight image burn on a white background and so received a revised estimate. Unlike with some other companies, if you choose to reject their revised offer, you have to pay a £10 administration fee. I emailed back an asked for pictures of the faulty screen but received no response. Whilst they were very amicable on the phone, they did only up my offer to £145 when I phoned as a goodwill gesture. To be clear, I have traded in every phone I have ever owned (every 2 years) and I have never had one revised - I keep my phone protected with screen protectors and shock-proof casings.

*Revised review following outcome* I was offered £86 by rapidphine buyer for my phone, I believed it to be good condition with only the usual very minor wear and tear from use. I recieved a revised quote dropping the offer to £30 and was veery disapointed. I sent my brothers phone at the same time and he also had the same revised quote for very similar reasons despite his being an even younger phone. Once my original review was posted the company did get in touch to resolve and provided their rationale below. I requested the phones returned rather than take such a low offer. Phones were returned quickly enough and in the same condition I sent. I have since sold my phone to Carphone Warehouse who made a lower offer than my original quote, £75. But this is more than double the revised quote from Rapidphonebuyer. Today I received payment from Carphone Warehouse in full, no comment about issues with the phones at all. Rapidphonebuyer may have good reasons for rejecting our phones but I'm still disappointed that they seem to publish an inflated offer with what feels like low intentions to deliver that price. I appreciate their resolution of my complaint but I'm afraid I still would not recommend. There are better offers out there.

I wish I'd photographed my phone before I sent it, as many other reviews state I was offered a revised amount due to "scratches on the screen" and "replacement back glass" (bull) and.....errr, you're buying second-hand phones mate, course it's got signs it's been used, most of us are on 2 year contracts. Perhaps you should take as a given that there will be 2 years worth of wear and tear. And as if anyone will pay ridiculous admin fee for the pleasure......ive gone from feeling honest and green to feeling like a mug.

Awful experience DO NOT USE, phone sent with no damage, allegedly has lcd problem, no imei, offered 80 instead of 173. Phone perfect when I sent it. Can't even be bothered to send my phone back, avoid at all costs as all they do is hang up the phone
