I installed the Ultra downspout filter system about 3 yrs ago and had adequate results for about a year. Then the fiber washers wore out. I replaced them several times over the last 2 years, but never got the same performance. I scraped the whole system this summer and replaced it with the First Flush Diverter and Leaf Eater system. The results are much better, with a few modifications. First I scraped the drain and filter basket completely and replaced it with a 2"pvc T threaded into the bottom of a 55 gal plastic drum with a bulkhead fitting. The bottom being a threaded 2" clean out and the side fitted with a hose bib to use the water in the flower beds. The ball diverter is installed on the top of the drum with a 2" bulkhead fitting. Above the diverter is a 3" pvc connected to the leaf catcher. This modified system has increased my capture rate significantly.

Great service, advice, process and pricing

I was sent a Tekelek Eco-Water Wireless Tank Level Monitor with Visual Display Monitor, which turned out to be defective. I called and talked to Curtis, who I had dealt with before and he was very gracious and suggested he send me another unit and that I could return the defective unit in the same box. He got me a working replacement right away and I sent the defective one back just today. As I mentioned, I've purchased rainwater harvesting components from this company before and when I had an issue, they worked diligently to help resolve my problem to my satisfaction. I recommend them to anyone looking to purchase rainwater harvesting equipment.

Very happy with the overall experience. Mark was great to work with and answered all my questions regarding the selection of the tank I needed. Very happy with the 1500 we went with and so far the system is working nicely, also the extras they included were a plus. Delivery was fast and driver very helpful in the unloading of this tank.
