Presto has a very comprehensive library of classical music and an effective search engine when you are looking for a specific recording. The wish-list is a very useful tool to reserve items for later purchase. A small criticism is that sometimes recordings do not retain recording date details when downloaded.

An excellent resource for classical music. Packed with important information and a comprehensive library. It's not just about 'selling songs'. It's dedication to classical music is unparallel to other music vendor platform.

Presto Music has been my go-to place for purchasing music downloads (mostly classical and a little jazz) ... everything from mp3 to hi-res. The checkout and payment always goes smoothly and the zipped files always download quickly and without hassle. Also, it's great that files are available for re-download if something should happen to my computer or backups.

I've bought music files from Presto many times over the last few years. I have always been very happy with the purchasing experience. Their search engine is very useful, with good filtering options and clickable tags per composer and per piece so you can quickly focus on what you're looking for. And the free music previews help you make sure you know what you're getting. Their collection is very extensive; I can usually be assured of finding five to ten versions of whatever piece I'm looking for (unless it's something truly obscure). The downloaded files are well-tagged, making it easy to fit into whatever personal filing system you're looking for. And their customer service is exemplary - always friendly and always willing to help. A year and a half ago they gladly refunded me for one piece that I purchased, because I discovered when listening to it that the orchestra had decided to just skip a few bars. (I bought a different version instead.) The only complaint I have - and it is truly a minor one - is that when you're going through the search results you can't hold down Ctrl and click on each result in turn to open them all in new tabs. For some reason even though Ctrl+click opens a new tab it also gives that tab focus, and you have to switch back to the search results to open the next one. You can circumvent this by right-clicking on each result and selecting "Open Link in New Tab", which takes extra time. But that's a minor annoyance in an otherwise perfect buying experience. EDIT: Turns out the tab thing only happens on Firefox. On Google Chrome the tabs open in the background. So the problem is with me :) DOUBLE EDIT: And with some help from Presto over email, I've figured it out. There's a hidden Firefox config setting called "browser.tabs.loadDivertedInBackground". Change it from False to True. What did I tell you about their customer service? :)

It's like going into a 1960 record shop where you can hear before you buy. Except that it's fully Hi Fi in the comfort of your home. Downloads are a bargain. Its bit like having a Kindle app for the best classical music. I have discovered lots of records I would not normally risk buying. The moment I pay, I can download the files and /or listen to high quality streaming. Gives me so much pleasure in my 82 nd year.

I purchase virtually all my classical music from Presto. They have an extensive catalogue and it is possible to get just about anything you might want at very competitive prices even with postage to the other side of the planet (NZ). Most items available as CDs or as downloads. Helpful descriptions for every item in the catalogue and the opportunity to listen to small samples of most items enhance the experience. There are numerous other benefits of this superb site and I would unhesitatingly recommend Presto to anyone who loves music.

Presto is well-stocked in classical and jazz digital content.

Joy to find recordings of classical composer(s) not available elsewhere.

As always, a great experience - good range of music and purchase options. I particularly like the fact that I can download at 24 Bit 96kHz flac - why would I want a CD with that option?

Presto love music. There are no end of "streaming" services, but I come back always to Presto because of the reviews and overviews of their excellent, articulate and knowledgeable staff. I don't think there's a better, more accessible company for lovers of classical music.

Huge selection of classical music and jazz, including downloads (although some of the prices for downloads seem illogical -- or even perverse). Delivery is usually when promised.

Failed to fulfill order for 7 weeks. Failed to refund. Failedd to respond to requests for status for 5 weeks. Do not buy from them.

This was the only place I could find the album I was looking for. Plus it was cheaper than what other hi-res download sites typically charge.

I have recently started ordering more music as a download rather than a CD. I am finding that sound quality of MP3 downloads is good and there is the convenience of having immediate access to the music ordered. By contrast CD's I ordered in January not only have not yet arrived but thanks to the current problems in the UK postal service have yet to leave Britain. This of course is through no fault of Presto. One thing about Presto that I much appreciate is that if I make an enquiry I receive a prompt and helpful reply. Prices are competitive and delivery is usually quite swift, although in the last 6 months this has been less reliably the case. I also use Presto to check on new releases and you always have the information on new releases before anybody else, so I am able to plan future purchases. All in all I am very pleased with my experience of buying music from Presto.

Very good selection of high-res downloads at fair prices and support requests are answered within 24 hours. Purchased albums can be reloaded later without any problems. No obscure download managers necessary.

It was easy to find the music I was looking for and the purchase process was intuitive and straight forward.

I found the titles I was looking for quickly and easily and the checkout procedure was straightforward. I also like the fact that a "download manager" is not required for the downloads. I like the fact that you have classical and jazz sections that are quite self-explanatory and simplify the search function. The prices are fair value and better than some other sites. Since Primephonic switched to streaming and then was purchased by Apple (who seem to have done nothing with it), Presto is my go to source.

As always I am delighted with this company and the service it gives. Without this opportunity to buy classical recordings my main interest in life would be closed off. Nowhere near where I live sells CDs anymore. I am particularly delighted with the library facility on the app which allows me to enjoy my music wherever I am. Thank you

Presto has a vast catalog, most of it in digital and cd formats. As a lover of so-called classical music I always shop there first.
