After reading such positive reviews here about the customer service at Presto it’s hard to understand why they treated me so poorly. I ordered what was listed on the Presto Classical website as a Super Audio CD (SACD) of a particular recording, but received a standard CD version of this work instead, which was not as described in the listing. If I had known it was not an SACD they were selling I would not have purchased it. I emailed customer service about this and after an initial reply heard no more from them. I sent a number of emails hoping to find out what they were going to do about the matter. These emails were unacknowledged by them. The least I was expecting was for them to admit that they had made a mistake in the listing description and apologise to me, a discount off my next purchase would have been nice. Not replying to customer emails is poor customer service practice in my opinion. Having been a customer of Presto for 7 years now and having spent over $2000 with them this episode has left a sour taste in my mouth!

I have been a long time customer (US based) of Presto for digital downloads. Excellent selection, easy to navigate web site, outstanding customer service. My go-to for classical music!

Would be interested to know what’s happened to Harmonia Mundi CD pricing policy - can Presto throw any light on it? These days, what are the bandings for full price, medium price and budget price? Are these bandings still relevant?

My family have been customers of Presto Music since it opened in the 1980s and our most recent experience of buying a Yamaha electric piano is a great example of why. Duncan made the whole process accessible, and worry-free, for my older family member. He took care of every aspect: delivery, set-up, showing her how to use it and even removing packaging so that she has just been able to get on with enjoying her new piano. The whole process has been made a pleasure by Presto Music, when it so easily could have been too daunting for her to embark on.

Service from Presto Music is always very efficient and prompt, and I use them regularly for most of my sheet music needs. Their monthly offers on specific music publishers are also very useful, much used in the past.

I've downloaded various works as mp3 files with no problem. However, today I went through the ordering process for an album which I downloaded, and despite repeated download attempts, it isn't on my Android filesystem, and the only way I can hear it is streamed through the Presto app. I want my files! Please advise.

I use Presto quite widely and always enjoy excellent service. If they've got it I receive it promptly, if not they get it and keep me posted on progress. On my latest delivery there was a faulty CD : I rang in to report the problem, and after an entirely positive call,within10 minutes, I received confirmation of a replacement having been dispatched. This is customer service at its best.

Ordered 2 DG Original vinyl albums from Presto Music. The price was very fair, they arrived promptly, and were ideally well-packaged. Will be ordering ALL my vinyl from this company in future. Thanks!

I have been buying from Presto for some time, and their delivery is always prompt and accurate. Earlier this year I bought myself a present of their streaming service. Wonderful!

Great selection, excellent, protective packaging. One question though, it sometimes takes weeks for my order to be posted and then there is the two week wait for arrival. Why does it take weeks to pick an order in October?

Presto have been my regular source for purchasing music for several years. They fulfil orders quickly and goods are always well packaged and delivered in good time. There regular emails are interesting informative providing guidance to many new products.

Things that make using Presto great include, the e-newsletter so you know what's coming out with reviews people people who know the music, excellent packaging essential with vinyl orders and timely dispatch.

I have a wish list, and so well aware of when new releases are due. Ordering is straightforward via the account that I have had for many years. It is good that I can place an order on a Thursday (a day before the Friday release date) and receive it the next day. The orders are always well packaged and so arrive in perfect condition; this is not the situation with other internet retailers, however. I am usually attracted to time-limited special offers which encourages many of my purchases.

Great site for downloads, extensive catalogue, rapid service. Best in class. Only request: Add surround recordings !

Presto Music has an excellent choice of classical music recordings and books. The new John Wilson “Carousel” came on schedule and perfectly packaged. I also appreciated being able to listen to excerpts before purchase.

Vast collection of ‘Classical Music’ for physical formats (CDs etc), digital (downloads), & sheet music. It’s my go-to site. Prices are competitive with frequent sales. My only niggle is that on occasion Presto has to order from suppliers as I guess warehouse space is not as vast as Amazon’s (!), items are not always readily available there either so sometimes there’s a short delay with dispatch, however I’m always kept up to date via emails with order status & Presto have never failed to deliver!

I initially made a mistake in my ordering, and ordered the wrong item. I emailed Presto, and they immediately emailed back, and said they would cancel the order, and refund my money. Great service. The correct order also arrived well within time.
