Mr Almerie did my gastric sleeve yesterday. I feel on top on the world today, but sore but other than that great. The staff here are amazing and made me feel so at home. They were in changing my bedding and cleaned my room for me. Checked in on me every hour to see if I am okay. Mr Almerie has came after surgery and today also to make sure I am okay! Made up with the device thank you so much!

From the first telephone call with the lovely Emma, to the follow up calls, it’s been very supportive and helpful. The surgeons and theatre staff were amazing and put me straight at ease. I’m doing well and know that I can get advice anytime I need it. Thanks so much.

Had a OAMB on Wednesday 29th of May. Dr Javed and all the staff at the Pines were lovely and very attentive.

I can’t thank the staff enough as nothing was ever a problem to them.

I had a sleeve to bypass done by Dr Darrien on Sunday 26th May, at the pines hospital in Manchester. She was absolutely fabulous, explained everything to a T, everything went amazing and I’m now on the road to recovery. Nursing staff on Sunday and Monday were outstanding, could not do enough to help me. Then Tuesday morning comes and I got kicked out of my room to be decorated, to sit in the day room until my wife got here, then to be told oh no can u go and sit downstairs in reception and wait. What a dampening end to what was such an amazing time.

My consultant miss Darrien has been amazing. Phoenix have been really helpful from the start. Very organised and nothing has been too much trouble. I had my surgery at the pines and the staff where lovely. I felt really looked after start to finish. I was apprehensive not being in a big NHS hospital but there was no need to be at all. All the staff have been amazing

I have had a sleeve to bypass revision yesterday with Dr Darrien. From answering questions to reassuring and checking I am ok she has been amazing and op has gone very well. All staff I have had at the Pines Hospital looking after me pre and post op has been amazing. I would recommend Phoenix Healthcare to friends, family and anyone who reads this comment.

I previously had a RNY gastric bypass on November 2023 my surgeon was Mr Javid he was lovely he listened to my worries and the staff at The Pines hospital were amazing. I have just been back in to have a diagnostic laparoscopy done due to suffering with abdominal pain my surgeon was Mr Almerie. Laparoscopy confirmed everything was okay no issues from my bypass but did repair a incsional hernia. The care was fantastic I received.

From the telephone calls to the F2F at Frodsham Melony, Emma sherif, Alice , Jo and mr Stewart were there to help and guide me through my procedure. The nurses at the pines Manchester were second to none and kept all our spirits up. They have literally given me back my life!

Leading up to my surgery, I was really anxious and nervous. Emma helped me each step of the way and got me appointments with people to talk me through everything and help me come up with a plan of action etc. without her help I'd of probably backed out. As for the surgical team they were all amazing. I'm really grateful for how friendly and down to earth they are. Especially my surgeon Mr Stewart. He was friendly, approachable and really great. The nursing team who looked after me were part of Transform but they were also so so amazing and I'm so glad Phoenix works with them. Because honestly their smiles and friendly personalities made me so at ease.

I'm so pleased with my surgery. All the staff that looked after me are professional, wonderful and patient. The admin staff, nurses and on call surgeon were so helpful and put me at ease with a few medical issues. I am so lucky to have had the surgery via Phoenix Health care at The Pines Hospital in Manchester. Thank you.

Everyone was very helpful and attentive. It was a good experience and couldn’t fault anyone. The rooms did look a bit tired and ready for refurbishment.

Had a gastric bypass 2nd jan 2024at the pines manchester referred on nhs surgeon ms derrien professional and very thorough no problems with surgery or recovery.looked after very well and good follow up afterwards.have lost 6st 7lbs so far and still losing consistently.still cant eat all the foods i could before surgery but its a learning curve and needed changes anyway and getting support.dont feel hungry at all and only need very small portions.normal range for diabetes now off all pain meds for arthritis and blood pressure meds have been halved

Excellent service throughout the process, from pre-op diet guidance, to phone calls once home. I am 9 days post surgery and feel great. I’ve not needed any pain relief and with the advice of the nutritionist at Phoenix, have lots of energy and am eating a varied puréed diet. Highly recommended, it’s changed my life.

Every interaction I have had with Phoenix staff has been positive. I had a gastric sleeve and hiatus hernia repair on the 30th April 24 under Miss Darrien and I received 1st class care. The staff at The Pines were amazing. I would recommend Phoenix Healthcare to friends and family.
