5* service from all the team at Phoenix / Pines. My surgeon was Mr Almerie he done a great job and was very good explaining everything to me. Before I went home I even seen a doctor and a dietician to help me along the way. Such a fab team of staff.

He called me the day before my surgery checking how I was feeling,came and met me when I checked into the hospital and also visited me after my op. I had the mini bypass less than a year ago an i have lost 7 stone Struggling over the years with my weight I would just like to thank Mr smith an all the team for my amazing transformation phoenix you have changed my whole life My diabetes ,high blood pressure, cholesterol an sleep apnea are all under control I cannot thank you all so much. From the very beginning of my journey with phoenix they have been fantastic from the customer service team, to the nurses,anesthetist and surgeon. I have just had a gastric bypass in the pines Manchester my surgeon was Mr Q Almerie he ensured I understood the procedure fully and what to expect before during and after the procedure and has been to check in each day the care from all the team at pines was to a very high stanard they where kind, considerate and very patient orientated and I could not have asked for more. Mr Alermie really seemed to care, listened to my concerns and issues and reassured me or talked me through things so I understood them better. I was extremely nervous before being put to sleep but the whole team reassured me and they really are experts they do it everyday just try and remember why you are having the procedure in the first place. The nurses Louise and Rosemary where fantastic I had a few issues the first night and nothing was too much trouble also I just want to mention the health care assistants who also do everything they can to make your stay at the pines the best experience, from changing beds, to doing your obs and getting you drinks or just having a chat with you to help pass the time. Everyone at the pines are fantastic and I would 100% recommend this hospital and surgeon.

I was terrified but so well assured and comforted by the whole medical team from start to finish of the journey. My surgeon Dr.Almerie was patient and discussed my options with me openly and collaboratively. I feel I have truly been given a gift. A new chance at life just before I turn 30. I have just had a mini gastric bypass yesterday. I had Mr Almerie who was person centred, easy to talk to explained everything to me and the whole process. I felt at ease calm and when I was a little emotional I felt sorted by all the staff at the pines. Everyone has been incredible, Cheryl the HCA and Louise the nurse have been amazing. Mr Almerie also came to visit me the day after my surgery in the evening to check on me. I felt like he listen to what I had to say and feel like a could not have asked for a better surgeon. To everyone who supported me and to my surgeon and anesthetist I couldn't thank you more for helping me start my weight loss journey, thank you so much.

I have been very well looked after during my hospital stay. However my dealings with Phoenix Health started before this. All staff are Amazing. Everyone is helpful and caring. Mr Almerie who performed my weight loss surgery was amazing. The whole process has been smooth and I really cannot thank everyone enough. I would highly recommend.

From being transferred to Aintree to Phoenix, I have experienced nothing but such positivity and professionalism from all staff members. I had my gastric by pass a week ago today at The Pines where the staff were INCREDIBLE. They're so so kind. My surgeon was Mr Almerie and I couldn't have wished for a nicer surgeon. I felt so safe under his care. He came to see me the next day and gave me the opp to ask any questions I may have. At 9pm! He is a very caring professional and knowledgeable surgeon and I would recommend him and the service I used to anyone who is considering this life changing procedure

I had a mini gastric bypass at Alexandra Hospital with Phoenix Health and they really looked after me. All the staff were amazing.

Best decision I ever made. Had a mini gastric bypass 6 months ago at the Alexandra hospital under Dr Alan Li. The staff were so kind, friendly and accommodating, cannot fault Mr Li or any of the staff I met from the cleaning staff to Mr Li himself. From my first appointment at Aintree Hospital, to my Frodsham visit, to the aftercare I am receiving I genuinely cannot fault any person I have met on my journey. Nothing has been too much bother, no question goes unanswered. The benefits already from having surgery are too many to mention, but to say all positive to my life. My only negative is to myself in that I didn't do it sooner. Thankyou to every single person under the Phoenix Health Umbrella. You have made my life so much better already and it's just going to get better every day.

I had a mini bypass on 12th September 22. Since then I have lost 11stone and couldn't thank these people enough. I waited 12+ yrs to do this and now have a new lease on life. Dr. Li you and your team are amazing

From Referal to surgery Phoenix have been amazing, I had a recent RNY under Mr Alan Li and his team. And have to say Mr Li and team are amazing. Was in the Alexander in Manchester. Pheonix has been fab phone calls to check how I am And offering support and follow iOS every step of the way. Cannot fault them at all excellent service and thank you for offering me life changing surgery. My journey is only 1 week post op long way to go but so far fabulous thank you x

I had a gastric sleeve here at the Pines and my surgeon was Mr Almerie. Honestly I can’t thank him and the team enough for getting me through the surgery. Everyone has said how well I look a day later and I think it’s down to this amazing team here at Phoenix health. I had a lovely phone call this morning from Phoenix asking how I am after my surgery, Phoenix staff are wonderful, always ringing to see how I am, and once I received my date, I had support from Phoenix in my well-being and what food is best to eat and how to. The Pines hospital was amazing, the doctors and nurses are so caring as well as The Phoenix Surgeon and Anaesthetist who operated on me, thank you so much for helping me and always being there on my journey.

From the first phone call with Melony to book my appointments to my discharge from the pines hospital in Manchester I have been well looked after any questions they are their to answer, my after care at the pines was amazing I can’t thank my nurses Irna who was the night shift nurse and Mary and Michelle on the day shift there are more to thank but I can remember them all. I was referred august 2022 and 9 months later had my gastric sleeve done. Super short wait time👍
