Due to our usual dog sitter not being available to care for our dog I contacted Linda who runs our local East Lancs Pet Stay. Linda was brilliant and promptly replied to find out more about our dog so she could be suitably matched to a dog sitter. We were extremely lucky that a lovely lady called Lynne was able to look after our dog for the 16 days we were away. Although our dog is nervous around new people, Lynne provided the best care and regularly text with updates as to how our dog was settling. I would have no hesitation in recommending Pet Stay East Lancs based on our experience through Linda with Lynne.
Shirley and Nik looked after Leia beautifully, sending me photos while we were away for reassurance! She was very happy there and enjoyed having the company of another dog. Would not hesitate to send her there again.
Once again can't fault anything- Jane is wonderful and the dogs have a 'holiday' of their own - she sends pictures and it's so reassuring to know that our dogs are in safe hands - thank you Petstay
Linda was fantastic at looking after Charlie, I was concerned as he's getting a bit 'needy' in his old age but Linda kept me updated and the photos I received really put my mind at rest that he was safe and happy and allowed me to relax. Well done and will definitely recommend and use PetStay again.
Jeanette was amazing and Alfie our dog loved his stay. He was well and truly spolit. This is our second time using petstay and can't express how lovely the carers are making it a lovely experience for both dog and owner can definitely recommend and will return.
So happy we had Ruth looking after our dog. She gave him all the care and love in the world. The house is also really safe and comfortable for an older dog. We had no concerns about leaving our guy here. Thanks again!

This was our first holiday without Reggie and was anxious about leaving him, but I’m so glad I found PetStay! From my initial enquiry, to the family Reggie was paired with, made the whole process a lot easier. I think Reggie had a lovely holiday too and it was great to receive updates & photos every few days. Will definitely use PetStay again and thank you so much.
My dogs both love staying with Peter and Xiaoling ❤️ we get lots of pictures and updates whilst we are away it’s lovely my boys just love their time there it’s a home from home 🏠
Well organised company and excellent forms to be completed before the stay and the useful list just prior to the stay. Good idea to meet the family they will stay with prior to the stay. Maggie made herself at home when I left her.
Bonnie had a terrific holiday with Ann. She was excited when she got out of the car and ran right into their house. Ann was great at keeping in touch, sending lovely photos and updates frequently. It was also easy to book and communication was great from the manager, Ruth. We’ll definitely continue to use PetStay regularly.
We had a great experience with PetStay. The process of finding a local family for our dog was easy, and PetStay provided us with lots of information about the chosen family. We met with them a few months prior to our holiday, so our dog could meet them, and when our holiday came around we had all the instructions needed from PetStay on what we needed to bring to the family who were looking after our dog. The family sent us pictures and updates on our dog whine we were away which was lovely, and our dog clearly had a lovely time with a loving family! Will definitely use PetStay again.
Gilly and her pet lab Nala were the most wonderful hosts. I'm in no doubt that my Tessa had a great holiday with them.
lisa was fantastic at keeping us up to date with maisie while we were on holiday the fact that she was safe and happy was a great comfort and allowed us to relax. i think deep down maisie would have been happy to stay on with lisa.
We were nervous leaving our 1 year old pup for a two week holiday as it would be the first time leaving her in the care of ‘strangers’. Jane from PetStay Glasgow was reassured us and helped locate Rue the perfect pet sitters with Joanne and Stuart. She had a wonderful time and they made our pup feel right at home. Any concerns we had were remedied by regular updates and Stuart and Joanne were happy to follow our pup’s at home schedule. When I picked her up I thought she wouldn’t leave! Will definitely use again in the future and have recommended to friends.
Crumpet is very well looked after. She gets very excited when she sees her bags being prepared to stay with Amanda and family. We wouldn’t leave her with anyone else while away.
Jet had another fantastic holiday staying with Lisa who gave her lots of walks and cuddles. We got regular updates with photos and their daily adventures. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lisa
First time we have used PetStay. It was a short notice booking when our usual carers for Pippin were unable to do it. It was an excellent service from Ian who found someone within an hour to have her. After the initial meeting with Becky I knew she would be in safe hands. Pippin had a wonderful time with her and the family. Good communication and flexibility which made life so easy and peace of mind. Pippin was very comfortable and totally at home. I have no hesitation in fully recommending this service.
I always contact Linda at Petstay when we need foster care for our Westies , George and Mildred. We have recently rescued Mildred and I was worried in case she had accidents at Sarah's (foster carer) or wouldnt eat wouldnt walk etc, but Sarah and her daughter Jess did a great job. The dogs ate all their meals, I got pictures every day, and Mildred was out of her cage and sitting on Jess' knee. Sarah said both dogs have not been any bother at all, no accidents and have been walked several times a day, even in all that rain. All the carers we have used have been fantastic and I have full confidence in Petstay and the foster families. Thanks to Sarah Parkes and her daughter Jess.
This is now the 3rd time we have used PetStay and I cannot recommend them enough. Sophia will put you in touch with the right person for your dog and you, which will bring peace of mind while you are away. Infact we have now said we will work our holiday around our carer Sonia when she is available as she is brilliant with our dog Guinness, and he gets on so well with her dog Hucks. We get daily photos and updates on how he is and what he is doing. Even though we miss him when we are away we know he is in good hands with Sonia, Phil and Hucks which makes our holiday more relaxing.
