We have two dogs who both go to our carers for a week twice a year, and having been several times, are not only now well acquainted with each other, but are mutually delighted. This is the huge advantage that petstay have over say, kennels, insofaras all parties become familiar with each other and are content therein.
This was Bodie's 3rd stay with Sam and her family. They really look after him so well. It's like a home from home for him. Sam updates us by txt so we know he is settled and having a nice time.
Can't praise Pamela and Alex highly enough for their care of our Jack Russell, Jess. Peace of mind is priceless when it comes to Jess and she thoroughly enjoys her 'home from home' in Glasgow and gas 2 more visits lined up this year. I'm sure she looks forward to her hols as much as we do now!
Tilly has stayed with Julie numerous times and enjoyed all her holidays! I can leave her knowing she’s ok and well looked after … she may even miss me a bit but I doubt it!!! … Tilly and Steve (Julie’s dog) have a great friendship … Her last stay was for a month which is a long time … I got daily feedback and photos which all reassured me that Tills was ok … Whenever I arrive at Julie’s to drop Tilly off her tail starts wagging so I know she knows where we are and she’s happy to be there … home from for Tilly
Adrian was fantastic looking after Paddy the greyhound. Paddy settled in quickly and enjoyed his home from home. It was very reassuring to go away and know Paddy was being looked after so well. Thank you
Denise & Iain took great care of Sam & Holly and we are so happy to of been matched to them lovely caring couple who clearly love dogs, they where so well looked after and they can’t wait to stay again for another holiday in a few weeks! Thank you so much we feel very happy to go away and leave them in safe hands.
Once again my Sammy had the most wonderful stay with Averil. He just loves going there for his holiday. The minute he walks in he gives Averil a great big fuss and can’t wait to go for his first walk with her. I 100% recommend PetStay to anyone wanting to leave their dog whilst on holiday. It’s great to know that he is well cared for and looked after so well. It seems like it’s now from home to home for him. He loves being the only dog there too, getting all the attention.
I have used Petstay a few times now and find them a pleasure to deal with. Linda is most helpful and has placed my 2 dogs with lovely carers. They were very well looked after and happy whilst staying there.
Booking with PetStay is straight forward and everything is confirmed back by email. Andrea is amazing with our dogs so we feel totally confident when we go away that they are being very well looked after. Andrea sends updates and photos whilst we are away and the dogs always look very happy. Brilliant service and lovely people.
Collected Rupert our gorgeous cockapoo from a 3 night stay with Sonia, Phil and their fabulous labrador Huckleberry. He has stayed with them on numerous occasion usually for 18/20 nights. As usual he had a wonderful time with longer walks in the forestry and shorter walks elsewhere. As soon as we turn into their village Rupert gets very excited as he recognises where he is and where he is going. His pleasure at seeing them melts my heart every time. He absolutely loves going there and adores all three. Rupert is an only dog and has been going to Sonia and Phil since he was a puppy. I was very worried about leaving him as he suffers from separation anxiety as he is with me 24/7 and if we leave him for more than a two hours we have a dog sitter who has been his sitter since we got him. As soon as we met we bonded with them but more importantly Rupert did. Normally he never leaves me but very quickly he was playing with Hucks and having cuddles with Sonia. Needless to say we have never had any worries about leaving Rupert. He has so much exercise, play (essential for cockapoos), grooming, cuddles and relaxing evenings sat between Phil and Sonia. The extra benefit to Rupert and us is he's socialised with other dogs and people due to Sonia teaching him to share his toys. He has two more holidays booked this year with Sonia and Phil in May and August. I would highly recommend PetStay to everyone with dogs and particularly Sonia and Phil (and Hucks) who give Rupert the same love and attention as they give to Huckleberry.
A big thank you for arranging for obi to stay with Margaret and Charlie last weekend. It worked in really well. Obi was so chilled when I collected him. He’d obviously had a ball and I think even a bath! Can’t recommend them more highly. Such a relief to have somewhere sorted for the summer too !
I have used Petstay for several years. They are well run and organised. I feel very happy leaving my dog with the pet sitting family. I live in Suffolk.
Petstay matched my fur baby with the perfect family. They ask all the questions required to make sure your pet gets the best home from home experience. He had an initial 1 night stay and then we have just come back from a week away. We had constant updates and pictures which were reassuring and he looked like he had the best time. Would highly recommend.
The thing I like most about Petstay is that before you even do anything they will ask lots of questions about your pets to ensure your pets are matched with the right carer. They then arrange a meet and greet with a carer to make sure all parties are comfortable. This will be the third time my two fur babies have lodged with Jean (Petstay) whilst we have been away on holiday. They absolutely love staying with Jean and now see her home as their 2nd home which is invaluable when you go away, in the knowledge that you can totally relax knowing that they are well taken care of. I will be using Petstay for the foreseeable future and would recommend them to anyone thinking of pet boarding.
We have chosen Pet Stay to organise boarding for our dog . Very well organised and every box was ticked for us to feel confident and comfortable with our dog to be away. Alan and Catherine where hand chosen to look after Penny , after initial meeting we knew straight away that Penny would be cared for just the way we do for her . Penny stayed a trial of a day then a few nights and was home from home experience for her. Very happy with every part of experience and would not recommend anyone else . Lindsey and Paul 🐾
Always can rely on PetStay to help organise getting my dog looked after. My pup has always been so well looked after and all details are covered, such a great service!
Recently used Petstay & very disappointed.i was reassured that there was a lot of repeat paperwork to complete & a telephone conversation took place to ensure that the correct carers are found for your dog & received this reassurance in an email. I have a springer &, as any responsible dog owner would know, they need a lot of exercise, so finding the correct carer was important to me. I was very thorough to what I was looking for including allowing dog in the bedroom, not to be left for long periods, eating & walking routine on the form and in our telephone conversation. I was happy, for the extortionate fee I paid, that Petstay would do their job & found the carer for me to meet my dogs requirements. I went ahead with the meet, which I followed up with my own sheet outlining my dogs care, booked two separate 2 weeks dates with the carers. I then received continuous emails asking to complete the booking form & pay my deposit. As nothing was raised by our carers or by Petstay regarding her exercise I assumed that this was no problem & that two to three walks, one first thing in the morning to do her business, one lunchtime & one late afternoon would be carried out each day for 3/4 hour, which is what she was used to, with ball play in between However I became concerned after the first couple of days I left my dog with the carers when I received a message a few days later at 11.00 saying they hadn’t taken her out as it was raining. The update followed that they managed to get her out at. 2 when the rain had stopped.& no ball play due to the rain so she had only one walk. I had feedback following day that she was walked once late morning, I got further feedback that due to the rain they took her for one quick walk & these updates continued outlining just one walk even on better weather days. I didn’t want my dog to be embroiled in me being unhappy with her care & further suffering, I contacted Petstay to ask her to look for another care for my second lot of holidays I had booked as I was unhappy on the amount of exercise she was getting. I asked her not to say anything to the carers as I didn’t want them to take it out on my dog or not tell me the truth.Petstay came back midday the following day, so no urgency in dealing with my concerns, it was agreed that she would send a general email around to her carers about the necessity of exercise, so was hoping that would be the end of it However I got an email later that day saying “in their defence”, so now obviously defending the carer for not providing the adequate exercise, “it is really atrocious here at the moment and I don’t think your dog is suffering from having less activity for a few days” I was absolutely astounded that she thinks that because we have a bit of rain all dogs stop being exercised. I appreciate that some pampered pooches would bolt at being taken out in the rain but, as any responsible dog owner would know, a springer loves the wetter & muddier they get the better. When I am paying for a service I expect the dog to come first. ‘Bad weather is only bad if you are not dressed appropriately’ and this should not jeopardise the care & exercise of a dog. I chose to ignore this email just hoping the email she was supposed to send will rectify the problem, which in fact didn’t as exercise didn’t increase even in the better weather. I then got yet another email the following day from Petstay, whilst trying to enjoy my holiday, saying “having thought I wonder if Petstay is the best option for my dog in the long run” & then started going on that “it sounds like I feel that my dog needs a lot of off lead walk” deflecting from the main issue of her not being taken out. I have used boarders for the last 10 years for about 8 to 10 weeks a year & would be horrified if she was walked off lead It is quite apparent that the welfare of the dogs takes second priority to the carers getting a bit wet and this will not be highlighted until you have paid your money. Under the circumstances i would not use or recommend Petstay
Lily and Luna had a great stay with Ismet. This was their first time staying away from home, they were welcomed into Ismets home like they were their own pets. Daily updates and pictures put my mind at ease and the girls really enjoyed their stay. Would definitely recommend.
We always enjoy our time away from Barney when we know he is being well looked after by Petstay.
We've boarded Millie with Charlotte on numerous occasions and would thoroughly recommend both Charlotte and Petstay. We were away for several weeks and knew that Millie was being well looked after, as we received a couple of updates and photos.
