Harley enjoyed his second stay with Linda Keith and Heidi. He was definitely excited to stay with his friends again and settled quickly. Enjoyed his walks with Heidi, and chilling on patio and watching TV. Linda and Keith were also helpful and flexible to extend stay so I could attend friend’s funeral. Linda keeps me updated with photos. Couldn’t ask for more and Harley is booked in for a longer stay in August.
We have used PetStay 3 times now and are never disappointed. Most recently Jarvis stayed with Keith and Anne and he had an amazing time, I don't think he wanted to come home, he loved playing in their big garden and the steam. Wherever he stays he is always looked after like he would do at home, sometimes better.
Very happy with Heidi and Chris looking after Bernie. This was his 4th visit and at Petstay he is able to enjoy a home from home experience while we are away on holiday which is of great comfort to us. We get regular updates so we are reassured he’s well looked after. Bernie is a King Charles spaniel so a real people’s dog so having him cared for as if he’s at home, with people who genuinely care is great for him and really important to us.
Amazing service with a fantastic dog sitter. Got lots of lovey updates and my dog loves it there. For an anxious owner and dog this was perfect. The sitter really listens and treated my dog like VIP. Cannot recommended more highly!!
Highly recommend Petstay! The organisation, communication and carers were great. We knew Bailey was being very well cared for and would be happy and so that meant we could enjoy our holiday.
Petstay put us in touch with a wonderful couple who live nearby and who looked after Bella very well, giving her the pills she needed for polyarthritis and pampering her
We have been using Petstay now for a couple of years and they have always been able to find a dog sitter for us. They usually provide several options for each period for which we want them to look after our dog, Ruby, and over the years we have settled on a few excellent regular sitters. Ruby is looked after in their home and we have never had any issues or problems; we have never been let down. So, in summary, we are very happy with Petstay and their sitters.
Our 3rd time using Petstay, this time Ann looking after Stella for a week, ably assisted by her own pup, Chip! Stella was clearly well cared for and by the sounds of things made herself right at home! Ann reassured us all was well with regular updates and Jane was great at making all the arrangements. Stella booked in again later in the year.
Well cared for, safe and loved as if they were at home. The communication was great with plenty of updates and photos.
Elsie so enjoyed her visit to Nic and Shirley’s! This enabled us to enjoy our time away too, as we were reassured that she was welcomed and being well looked after. Enormous thanks to them both x
We regularly use John and Frances they are fantastic dog sitters. Alfie is always happy and looked after when he stays with them.
DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! I contacted the Hull office regarding overnight stay for my dog. The worker came across very obstructive stating one night does not make "good business sense"! , when actually I was enquiring about a few nights booking, but future weekends away may require only one night's stay. I was told it was a minimum of 3 nights stay, however under the TofC on the website it does not state that. I thought the idea around PetStay is to find a good home environment to look after your pup and not be favoured over how many nights the pup will stay. I would not recommend this service at all because business is more important than taking care of your beloved pet! He made no attempt to enquire what pet we had, how old, temperament, whether she could be placed with a family that has children etc etc, just what business we could bring for them to make a profit. We understand that business profit is essential but it should not be the first words in an enquiry call.
Really pleased with PetStay feel that the dog hosts are properly vetted & are selected as they have a genuine interest in dogs & care about their well being.
Petstay was brilliant, they introduced me to a local petsitter who was a five minute walk away. My dog is quiet nervous and I was concerned how she would be. I need not have been worried she obviously really enjoyed her stay with a lovely lady, so much so that I don't think she really wanted to leave. I have already booked her next stay.
Charlie had a lovely time with John and Frances. He suffers from separation anxiety but was very happy getting lots of attention and walks. He is going to stay again in October and I know I don’t need to worry about him.
I ordered the paw cleaning product from Petsay and paid Rs 699 on delivery ! However when I opened it it was a Car cleaning Polish !
We were a little worried about leaving Scooby as he had not been away from the family for his whole 13 years! We were so grateful to Alison for welcoming Scooby with such enthusiasm and making us feel reassured that he would be treated a member of her family too. I was also very grateful for the text updates that Alison kindly sent. It seems Scooby had the best time and was a little tired when he came when he came home, he flopped in his bed and slept for almost 24 hours straight!! I can’t thank Alison enough and would 100% recommend anyones beloved pooch go stay with her when required 🙂
Teddy our 11 Year Old Cockerpoo usually stays with family when we go away - so we were a little nervous about approaching "Pet Stay" but we had absolutely nothing to worry about they matched our Ted with Barbara who was perfect as Ted was lavished with one on one attention. I don't think he wanted to come home so we would have no hesitation again leaving him with Barbara .. 5 stars !
I’m delighted that Sorbet had such a positive experience with PetStay… she stayed with Avril and it didn’t take long for Sorbet to settle with her. That really put my mind at ease especially receiving regular updates (photos). Jane from PetStay Glasgow was so organised and made the whole process very easy. I would highly recommend PetStay Glasgow - I had a happy dog and that speaks volumes.
Our usual carers weren't available, but a different family was found who could meet our dog's needs (reactivity and medication). He settled in really well and we got regular photos and updates on how he was getting on. The whole thing is run in a professional manner, much safer than just leaving with a friend-of-a-friend or putting them in kennels.
