The delivery schedulers were extremely hasty on the phone and along with the seller in the store the special instructions for delivery to a nursing home and having to carry/hand truck the chair approx. 500' into the building on multiple floors was not conveyed to the drivers. The delivery arrived and the driver and assistant were starting to carry the power recliner chair into the building when based on a last minute request when the truck arrived the nursing home staff came to assist with a flatbed. Everything else about the purchase and setup and initial use so far is great.

After a failed furniture shopping experience at BJ's wholesale club, we stopped by Old Brick. After browsing a bit, we enlisted the help of Frank to find the perfect piece of furniture to hold up our 137 pound television. Frank helped us by personally verifying that each piece of furniture would hold his weight. He then handed us over to Cynthia who handled the order and payment. We then swung around the back, picked up the box, and headed home to assemble it. Just 8 bolts, and it was together! I think I spent an hour assembling a similar piece from Ikea.

The experience on the floor, with delivery went well. BUT. I purchased a sofa bed and it came w/o legs. Customer service was helpful in arranging g for me to pick up temporary plastic ones, but after a week they haven't told me when I'll get the real wooden ones I'm due.

Furniture is great. Over a month to arrive at Old Brick and then another week to deliver. Not acceptable, especially when you buy furniture because you need it.

When my husband & I first arrived the store was pretty dead. No one was present to greet us. I asked a woman where we find help. As we are walking to the back counter to get help we were browsing. A worker walked right by us, did not ask us if we needed help, and then another woman flagged him down who he went and helped. So now we go to the back counter and ask where we find someone to help and how we were never greeted. The older gentleman insisted they were all busy, which they were not. He says "this gentleman can help you!" I turn around and it's the guy who didn't even acknowledge us. I turned back around and said "oh you mean the one who didn't even acknowledge us?!" We picked out 3 sets of which none were available for at least 2 weeks to a month, if not longer. Then the 4th set they only had the loveseat & ottoman so I just said "screw it!" And got that one. I don't like feeling like I am just commission to someone.

Ok, let me preface this with saying I never leave reviews and would not ever go out of my way to maliciously hurt a company but this organization is extremely unprofessional. My wife and I purchased a sectional here for our new home in Niskayuna. We saw it in the store and it was comfortable and perfect for our family room. After said purchase the product was delivered, during delivery they scuffed our brand new hardwood floors which are darker, it was a giant line down the middle. This would cost thousands to repair but we are just getting started... After they delivered it we argued that setup should be the way I advised and when the delivery guys realized I was correct they took off quickly. After about 2 weeks my wife and I noticed that the chaise lounge was uncomfortable and not what we experienced in the store. We contacted old brick and they sent out someone to look, during his inspection we also found a GIANT nail sticking upwards in between cushions (we have two small kids) I showed him floor scuff and he said "sometimes that happens." Are you serious?!?!?! "Sometimes we destroy your floors, but right here!" The chaise lounge replacement did not fix the couch, it was in fact the back which was defective and verified. Now we are on with Rachel who stated we would get this taken care of. I mean, why wouldn't we get it taken care of, we are well within our 1 year warranty, the couch is faulty and we are the customer with an issue right? No. She stated a manager would call me. Two weeks later I had to drive to Rotterdam store in person to see a human being. He then tells me that a manager will call me next day. Fast forward almost 8 days later I show back up, same guy eating his words with nothing to say. As I sit in the parking lot, all I have is now a manager "will call" I wrote this godamn review as a matter of principle and so no one else gets screwed. God forrbid you got a bad piece, you are in for a nightmare. I should have stuck with Huck Finns or Taft...big mistake. Buyer Beware. ~Unhappy Customer

Purchased a dining set came in 5 boxes 4 of 5 boxes had broken or defective parts. Store could not deliver replacements but informed me they had them in stock and I could pick them up. I had to repack the defective items and return them to the store. When I went to pick the replacement parts up they were not ready or inspected, I spent an hour looking through multiple boxes of table and chair parts before being able to acquire all the parts I needed.

delivery was bad.. Had to ask them to tighten headboard. They said "why, you want everything perfect". Bed was 5 inches from wall, asked them to push in place. Gave me attitude, so I asked them to leave. Worst furniture delivery I ever got.
