Old Brick has been a staple furniture place in this area for years. Their furniture selections are comparable, their prices and buying options are a great value for the quality, and the quality exceeds others. They have definitely been mine and my family's initial go-to option for our furniture buying needs. However, in this day and age of acceptance and tolerance of people who are different, their customer service, and customer relations leave a lot to be desired!! Anyone who has ever been in a furniture store know that service is key and there are usually several people, if not at least ONE who is always there to greet you, discuss your needs and to help you to find the best options for your budget - but not OLD BRICK!! ...and I have to say, I am quite disappointed because of this!! On her lunch break, my Mom recently paid a visit to purchase a recliner chair. The moment she entered, there was no one to greet her and several people, I believe she mentioned 5 or 6, who literally made eye-contact with her, yet refused to approach and inquire about her needs. The showroom was not terribly busy at that lunch hour, and on the chance that this was a fluke and that someone would soon assist her, she proceeded to walk around the showroom floor looking for a recliner. She walked through and to the back of the store, sat in several different recliner chairs, that just so happens to be steps from the customer service counter. Again, the recliners were located in the back of the store where AT LEAST one sales person would have surely encountered her presence at some point, but no one did. She finished her visit, never having been approached, made a mental note of her selection and left the store to go back to work. Later that evening, I returned to the store to purchase the recliner that my Mom had selected and settled on. We discussed her lack of customer service, and again, surely believing is was just a fluke, when I returned to Old Brick I found that sadly it was not a fluke!! I too walked into the showroom and was never approached by a sales person. I too was able to make my way to the back of the store and find the recliner my Mom had selected without ever being asked if I needed help!! THAT is unacceptable!! With our immediate need for the recliner, and our selection already made, I did purchase the recliner. However, in order to do so, I had to walk through the store again, passing several sales people who seemed to have be avoiding my presence. At the time, I didn't know why this was happening to me because I noticed the store was not busy. What I did notice however, is that many of the sales people either didn't make eye-contact with me, did not even acknowledge me as a customer, and they definitely were not "busy" because many of them were walking around aimlessly looking like they had nothing to do!! It wasn't until I made my way to the center of the store that I encountered Frank who immediately made eye-contact with me, acknowledged my presence and appeared interested in helping me as a customer. I proceeded to share what I had just experienced, and let him know that no one has been interested in assisting me, and that they actually seemed to be avoiding my presence. He was surprised and offered that it is usually not that type of atmosphere, to which I had to disagree as I then shared the experience that my Mom had earlier that afternoon; and that's when he became speechless!! After my purchase, I thanked Frank for his assistance, as this was a guaranteed sale for Old Brick because we needed a recliner that day for my Grandmother... but I have to tell you, if time was on my side, I surely would have left Old Brick and found somewhere else to spend my hard-earned money, which spends just like every one else money who would walk through the doors of Old Brick!! I am not sure if I will ever return to Old Brick because I definitely found that the treatment my Mom and I received to be both unsettling, and setting us back a few hundred years instead of moving us forward as we ARE now in the year 2017!! #HowDisappointing

I had a great experience buying my couch at Old Brick. The salesperson was friendly and helpful, but at no time did I feel pressured to buy anything. My purchase was hassle-free, quick, and the price was great! In addition, the delivery people were exceptional! I will definitely return!!

Purchased a $300 sofa table that had to be delivered from another store. After the third time I was told it was in and went to pick it up, it was actually there. Waited at the loading dock for it and was brought a box of parts. Was told if I wanted it together I'd now have to pay for it to be assembled. I thought I was buying a piece of furniture from a quality furniture store not something from Walmart that i had to bring home and assemble myself. Sales staff was rather rude. The gentleman loading it in my car however was very polite and apologetic....as helpful as he could be. I highly doubt I'll shop here again. I ordered another piece of this particular living room set after this experience... off the internet for $60 less than this store, it was in perfect condition when it arrived 2 days later, and it came assembled!!! Wish I did that for the whole set!!! Ar

We purchased a bedroom set and a TV console. Our overall experience was excellent ! Recommend highly.

I was very disappointed the chair that I special ordered was not correct when it arrived. I had to wait 6 weeks and when it finally arrived it was the wrong fabric! Now I have to wait another 6 weeks once again!
