I have tried numerous times in the past week to outact customer support and there is no way to have live chat or even send an email through their website. Finally by pressing a choice below the icon in the menu bar of my computer I was able to send an email. It does not tell you this on the website when you ask for support.I was by accident I finally found it.

Very difficult to understand what to do. I sometimes have to play tricks in order for it to get hooked up. It won’t hook up to the United States right away. It just states that “it’s taking longer than usual” and never hooks up. I have to hook up to the UK first, then switch to the United States. Then It will work. I don’t understand what the features bring with it. Meshnet, Onion or the different protocols.

NordVPN kept charging my credit card although my subscription expired. Update: I reached out to the customer care team. They denied a refund. Further update: Refund, thanks to Paypal agreeing with my position.

I’ve been a loyal NordVPN customer for over 7 years, but after this experience, I’m never coming back. I was unexpectedly charged $179.86 for a renewal that was supposed to happen in May—not February! On top of that, I was moved to a more expensive plan I never agreed to. Despite reaching out to customer support, all I got were scripted responses blaming their Terms of Service instead of actually addressing my concerns. I never received the 30-day renewal email they claim to send, and the email I did receive on February 6th explicitly said I wouldn’t be charged yet. How is this not misleading? NordVPN’s renewal system feels deceptive, charging customers months in advance without proper notification and at inflated prices. This is not how you treat long-term customers. I’ve requested a refund and will be switching to another VPN provider. If you’re considering NordVPN, beware of their auto-renewal practices!

Great product and great service. Had an issue that required some investigating and they were very helpfull and patient, providing helpfull links along to way to easily navigate the parts that i knew nothing about leading to the issue eventually getting resolved. Have used Nordvpn for many years and see no reason to changing.

I wanted to close my account because the VPN was somehow messing with my Chrome browser (and also payments didn't go through on Safari). I used this because it was half the price of ExpressVPN which I used before.... but I'll be going back to it. But that's not why I'm leaving the bad review. It's just that the refund process sucks. First it's nowhere to be found, you have to first email them. Then a button appears. But then you have to go through customer service, and even if you say firmly you want out they'll not only try to convince you to stay, they'll try to sell extra stuff for ages. They only stopped after I said I'd give them a 1 star here. I'm giving 2 stars because they then caved. Horrible process.

Despite repeated attempts I still cannot access email when the VPN is connected, I seem to get a different support person each time and though they try to help it is clearly above there expertise. Other than that the product is excellent, the support staff are polite and I think want to help.

I guess the service works ok. Twice in the last 30 days I've had to uninstall and re-install the software on my Windows 11 machine. Random lockups, unresponsive tabs, Windows stalling. I was sure I had a stick of RAM that went south but it turns out 100% it was the NordVPN software that was the issue. Also, I use NordVPN on an iPhone 13. No problems at all with it there. *Edit after NordVPN replied to my review* They said I should contact their support staff if I continue to have issues. Clicking the SUPPORT link on their website has no clear way of contacting their support staff. FAQs galore. A search feature that returns nothing useful. I've canceled the automatic/recurring billing and am moving on from their service.

David was super helpful regarding my issue with the 2FA reset I requested. He managed me trough all the steps and solved it in no time. I hardly recommend NordVpn and especially there way of handling (responding) there customers. Thanks a lot David Corral! Christopher.
