I advertised my car on carwow, following carwow’s guide prices. I actually set my reserve lower than there suggestion! I advertised my car honestly, adding the documentation to show its partial service history and one missing isofix clip cover. I accepted a bid of £10,720, and was then told it was Money For Your Motors who had bought my car. I added all the documentation required via carwow, and received a call from Money For Your Motors asking to confirm a few details. They stated that due to the vehicle having partial service history, their quote would now be £10,000. I declined this offer, understandably! I have now received a message from carwow stating that Money For Your Motors withdrew there offer due to ‘additional damages’ on the vehicle that I had not mentioned. This is completely untrue, and the whole process has been such a waste of time! I have since sold my car for a higher price to Arnold Clark, who committed to there offer with no haggling / lying etc.

Long winded, M4M said they would pick my car up in 48 hours but it took nearly a week and their agents in the call centre never wanted to help and always said the previous person you spoke to would call you back. They never call back. Always chasing them to actually get the car sold
