Great experience, far more straight forward than I was expecting, lovely helpful staff, both Lucy for the original quote and then Kat in the transport team were great, called when they said they would and very friendly. The two chaps that came to collect were both very friendly as well. Easy process all done via phone with a video walk round which was great and a final price agreed prior to collection so no nasty surprises of being knocked down further once they came to get the car. Money transferred as promised to my account really quickly before the left with the car.

Hassle free, quick and easy to sell my car with them. Explained every process, step by step. Collection was arranged quick and money in my bank straight away before the car was taken. I would definitely recommend the firm over any of the big names out there.

Wasted my time. I already declared the settlement amount in my enquiry and arranged the video walk around. Waited and never received a call so had to call them only to be told sorry we had phone problems... About to start the walk around and the person on the phone asks to confirm the settlement amount - I was already aware of the negative equity but I was obviously going to put in the extra few hundred needed to clear it... He then tells me sorry can't help you we don't deal with negative equity. What a complete waste of time this could have been said beforehand, they had plenty of opportunities. Took time off work for this nonsense and had cleaned the car etc.

Hard unyielding price negotiations did no get what I wanted but the process was very professional and efficient

If you want to sell your car quickly you can expect to be chipped down. That said, these people turn it into a three act opera. Go online and get a quote (expect this to be a reasonable price that you would like for your car but there is no way on earth they will pay you that). Receive a number of calls and messages until they finally get you - they obviously don’t trust you to respond to the first call/message they leave. Take the call and arrange a walk round of the car so they can take online pictures of everything they could possibly want to see including documents and under the bonnet. This is what I expected but took a long time and you will realise later it is time you will have wasted and never get back. During the call they will reduce the price you are being offered quite significantly. Hey which car buying site doesn’t do that?? So you agree a lesser price. Arrange a day to get rid of the car. After all that’s why you are prepared to have your pants pulled down on price - for whatever reason, you need a quick sale. The day arrives and you are greeted by two people who will then take the car for a test drive. After that they will spend an inordinate amount of time going over the car again with a fine tooth comb (just in case you have swapped out the car from the last time they took the pictures of every inch of the car with a scrapper). Then they phone the office. Where the person on the other end of the phone then goes through a tick list of things they have already seen on the two sets of pictures and challenge them on the pictures they have sent. Maybe the lady who was in the office had sight issues?? Then comes the sting in the tail. They have found something that they can further screw you to the floor on. And wham! They offer you even less than they offered last time. Reluctantly you take this. Partly because you need the car gone and partly to justify the long time it’s taken to get to this point. Then before you even have your money in your bank they are asking for a Trustpilot review 😂😂. Ok if you insist……. The two guys they sent were nice enough but what a job they have to do!!!! And there you have it. A true reflection of what it’s like dealing with these people. Seller beware!!!! UPDATE!! I have just had an email from Ben Horan who told me that the original quote they gave me was based on the 9 year old car with 78,000 miles being in showroom condition. How absolutely ridiculous. Also he said that the price reduction I incurred on the day of collection was in part due to a tyre pressure warning light being lit on the dashboard. Funny as when I originally did the first walk round with Victoria she took pictures of the dashboard and I told her about the tyre pressure warning light being on. Seems like they double count things they can to reduce the price. Deffo not a company I recommend.

I had Alistair Tucker as my advisor, a real breath of fresh air. As someone who works in the motor trade, I understand this isn’t the best way to maximise profit out of a vehicle, however, Ali really fought to get me a good price on my Audi A1 after explaining I had trouble selling privately. He built rapport very quickly and was very friendly. He is a real asset to the team!
