For smaller items and smaller orders, Manutan have been excellent value for money and delivered quickly and the account manager has been extremely helpful. For a larger order however, this has been sent in a vehicle that has no capability of off loading a pallet and the requirement is for the customer to provide a forklift as standard, which we do not have. Reorganising an urgent order to be re-delivered on a tail lift vehicle is turning into a drama and this has really tainted the experience. I understand from our stores team that this is not a unique experience but given the range of products that are attractive to a range of different customers, the expectation of heavy goods equipment readily available at the customer site is illogical. Smaller scale customers beware.
