l will definitely order again. Took a star off because they charge 10 dollars for insulated packaging which is a Styrofoam cooler inside a cardboard box. Shouldn't that be included? Oh yeah there was some slight leakage due to the lid on cooler not being taped down. Now the pros. Lobster Tails,Scallops and Kate's butter were absolutely delicious. And gotta say received my order 19 hours after I placed it. You can't get no better than that!!! If I could I would give it 4.5 stars.
I order seafood often from as far away as Alaska and never Have I had an issue or am I expected to buy insurance - my Oder was supposed to be free Next day shipping. I buy from this semi local company 2 states away and it’s not delivered for 2 days and then Ups claims package damaged and product was scrapped - shipper responsibility but Maine Lobster Now refuse to replace the $233 Order and instead they offer a discount for me to repurchase again what I never received! Stay away from this company!
I live in a small town, Bay City, Texas. I gave my friend a gift certificate for Christmas. She ordered the lobster to serve at a gathering on their ranch here in Bay City. and had the lobster delivered to my house. The lobster was promptly delivered by FedEx. It was packed with ice packs and seaweed. All 10 lobster made the trip. They boiled the lobster that evening, and I can tell you... it is the best I have ever eaten. Fresh and delicious! I am re-ordering today... for my son in law's birthday in Ohio. I will, no doubt, order again.
Terrible service. Don't order from this company. My first order was great - arrived late in the day, but in time for dinner, and everything was fresh. So I ordered again for the holiday weekend. The order NEVER showed up. The only notice I received was a cryptic note from UPS that "delivery would be rescheduled". This was TWO WEEKS AGO! Phone call unanswered as they were "closed over the weekend". (After pushing a holiday promotion and advertising Saturday deliveries). My first email went unanswered. I waited a day for reply to my second email to company - "wait for the box to show up and then call us." NEVER showed up. But, I got a survey a few days later. (Not a smart idea to send a survey when you have a customer inquiry open). Still, no response, and no box. I have checked my credit card and no refund. Today, I sent third email, and they finally replied, offering to send a "free" replacement. For something I already paid for, plus insurance! Unbelievable! Just terrible customer service. I don't know how they stay in business.
I live in Texas and this company was on meals and deals with the Good Morning America show back in April 2020. It was introduced as Pauli's Lobster rolls and was half price. The company ran out of rolls before Michael Strayhand could get his CC to order. I had to look on Good Morning America to get the name and found them under MLN. I also paid $175.00 with the $6.50 Insurance included and let MLN ship to me with their free shipping. I placed my order 6/3/2020 around 11am in the morning and at 8am on 6/4/2020 FedEx delivered my order. The shipping package alone was worth $15-$20.00. I am very satisfied with my experience with MLN and will order again.
Lobster was ordered for a birthday. It was shipped overnight, June 2 and never got here until 7:55 the next night , June 3, and all of them were dead. If ordering from FL think again. Box said perishable but UPS did not get it here until 7:55 at night. Save your money, eat something else!
I barely post a review for any online purchases, whether happy or unsatisfied. But the order was arrived 1 day late ( 3pm on Wednesday, order placed on late Sunday and shipped out on Monday )but they are arrived in excellent condition, they are still frozen. And all are enormous in size. I and very happy on their products and packaging, will place another order for my sister birthday right after finishing this review.
After receiving and posting about an unsatisfactory order of lobster meat, Maine Lobster Now reached and sent me a replacement order. The lobster meat was great -- fresher, better tasting and better texture. We enjoyed it very much. It is worth it for the added convenience of being able to receive, open and eat before the package reaches the kitchen. Ordering a live lobster and cooking still remains the ideal, and MLN can do that....hmmm...Thank you MLN.

Great seafood! Excellent value for the money spent. We did have one issue with some clams so I contacted Customer Service. I was blown away how quickly I received a response...a matter of minutes, to be exact. Other companies give you the "Due to Coronavirus, you may receive a delayed response" type of email and then you have to follow up with them for a month before you get someone to help. NOT TRUE for Maine Lobster Now. We have ordered twice and will continue to order. Hoping to get something special for Father's Day. I would highly recommend.
My order was delivered early in the morning and I choose to get unprotected package & I was a bit scared of what would I receive due to some of the reviews but It arrived in excellent conditions still very much fresh (ICE WAS FROZEN). Best Decision I ever made was to purchase from this company cannot wait to cook it tonight. Thank you so much Maine Lobster for making this purchase amazing !
We received the order at 5:30 PM, the day after it was shipped. The two lobsters were alive, and were delicious! The scallops and the cod were at 56°! That’s not good. The ice packs were melted, not cold. They are doing something wrong, which needs to be fixed. Overall, it was a good experience.
After a very disappointing first delivery, I am pleased to say that my order was reshipped and I am very satisfied. Mike reaches out to and promised to personally over see that my order was shipped and update me with delivery updates, he not only followed through on his promise but the lobsters I received were amazing fresh and delicious. Thank you for going out of your way to rectify the situation.
We started out with a shipping mishap - a UPS problem, not M.L.N. My first customer service interaction was with a complete dud - but was followed up with excellent problem solving help by Mike, and supportive reorder help by Nicole. The reorder (for family members ) was delivered on time, fresh and proved to be excellent and delicious. Protect yourself from a shipping disaster! Opt for shipping insurance. While I was disappointed by the "delivery fail", Maine Lobster Now came to the rescue with a no-cost reshipment of excellent fish and scallops that everyone loved.
So far, I've had the lobster mac & cheese casserole, clam chowder and sea scallops ..... they were delicious!! I'll be ordering again! Thank you!
Still can't believe what has happened. I paid $175 dollars for the seafood however because of the bad package it was damaged in transit and discard by UPS on behalf of me before it arrives at my house. The result is I paid money for NOTHING only the serval stressful calls with UPS and the seller, the seller blamed that I should buy the 6 dollar insurance...bad bad experience...
I ordered 2 lobster for my cousin'd wedding gift, retired and remarried, Instead, you sent 4 lesser sized, being out that day. Sindy and her new husband, invited another couple with this treat, vanished that afternoon. She had sent me 4 loaves of San Francisco sour dough French bread. An even trade, if one is raised on that bread. Too bad you can't send her some cod tongue and SCREECH. My daughter's Mum had to teach me how to attack a tail, and I in turn taught her how to devour craw fish. My next order is a treat to the Fire and Rescue crew that helped save my life, ten live lobster.
I've ordered 3 times this month, once for myself (& Yorkie) and twice for gifts! This is the best treat for yourself and friends during this time; Order from MLN and stay home to enjoy it safely! I am skeptical of the bad reviews that are in all capital letters and believe they are not valid, perhaps a competitor or disgruntled employee? You will love it, I promise! Janice U.
Absolutely perfect 3 pound lobsters, fresh and live from Maine all the way to South Carolina! The delivery was at the exact time (to the minute) that it was scheduled. The lobsters cooked perfectly, sweet and tender. We will be ordering all of our fresh sea food from Maine Lobster Now, thank you...
I ordered this for my husbands birthday and I’m hear to tell you... it was the best seafood I have ever had... I ordered the jumbo lobster tail and fresh clams! We are from Montana and we don’t get seafood like that around here! I recommended to all my co workers that it’s a must to try... you definitely will not be disappointed!
