The delivery how quickly it came and the delivery driver was so helpful he couldn’t do enough

I ordered some internal doors back in October and was initially told delivery expected in January. I then received a notification two weeks ago confirming a delivery date for my order and had to push back slightly due to a holiday. I then received a notification on Monday confirming delivery this week before receiving a phone call shortly afterwards to say the majority of my order isn't in stock. The person I spoke to was unhelpful and gave absolutely no indication as to when I can expect something I've paid good money for. I suspect my order was sitting in the warehouse and the firm has simply sent my doors to another customer. I've sent the firm an email complaining about this but haven't received any acknowledgement. How can any company take an order and keep a customer waiting 6 months! And my worry now is that they intend to keep me waiting for another 6 months! This is unacceptable.

Doors arrived on time and the driver was superb. Very helpful and cheerful, especially after a long day. Great service and great driver.

Having read through a number of reviews on here it seems I am not the only one with problems that will end up costing me a fortune. We ordered over three thousand pounds worth of internal doors including a set of bi-folds, when the carpenter got here to fit them there was a part missing meaning we are left with a gaping hole which cannot be filled until they condescend to provide the missing part. When calling them I am told that they will get the warehouse to take a look NEXT WEEK! This now leaves me with having to pay a carpenter another day rate to complete the job! Do yourself a favour and buy from someone else and check with your retailer that they are not ordering from LPD. Doors of Distinction who we initially ordered from have been very very helpful. EDIT - You can ignore their response to this as a week on and we have had no email, no phone call and surprise surprise not part yet - absolute cowboys! FURTHER EDIT - Here we are another week on and still no part - please avoid these people they cannot be trusted

My doors arrived on time! The delivery man was very pleasant polite and careful with my delivery. I was kept up to date with my order delivery from the start. I recommend this company very highly and would have no hesitation if having to use again.

Wouldn't Recommend this company to my worse enemy ! After spending my money on a bedroom set , the screws and accessories were all labeled wrong with the wrong quantity I then asked for them to send the right ones which they only sent half I then again asked for the right parts and compensation for the hassle of having to wait and having the person to put the things together to come back another day I was told by Robert dyas and there complaints team that they have been shipped waited another week and I find out they haven't been shipped and they declined compensation 3 times ! After all the aggregation they corsed and extra money I have spent ....this company is a absolute joke !! I'd stay far away as possible ....still waiting for the right part ...

Arrived early. Curtesy phone call beforehand to say delivery was about 15 minutes away. Delivery driver Andy was very friendly and professional.

Door delivered as purchased and on time. Also rec’d a call from driver 10mins before arrival which was good. Andy, the driver, was super friendly and helpful. All in all a good experience all round.

Really pleased with a set of 9 Mexicano oak veneer doors. All are now hung, and with Osmo oil applied to the surface, look absolutely fantastic. We bought the doors through ‘Doors of Distinction’ - they were really helpful as well
