Purchased the 30” HARDWOOD DERBY GLAZED 2L LEADED and matching frame. A good product and more economical than plastic and composite alternatives out there. I recently finished everything off. One bugbear that I feel I must make known is that the rubber weather stripping for installing around the frame was simply far too thick. After spending a number of hours fitting one side (because pushing the soft rubber into the slot was very difficult) I then discovered it was so thick, my door would not close 🤦♂️ LPD, you must provide thinner weather strip and clear guidance on which slots on the frame to use and how to push it in please. The leaded glass panes look great. The wood itself is made up of blocks with a veneer outer. I don’t think the wood finish is good enough to have as a clear coat wood finish but my door looks grand painted!
