Ordered two internal doors and a big room divider which was on pre order till March. It doesn’t tell you on the stockists website that everything you order will come together at once, so we had to wait for things which were in stock for two months. The delivery just came which is “kerb side” and the driver left the huge palette in the road behind a parked car! He refused to bring it any closer to our house so we had to get trolley dollies and try and move the heavy palette to our front drive with great difficulty. We didn’t ask him to bring it into the house but we expected like with other companies that they would bring it to the front of the house.
Purchase seven at £150 each LPD Lille internal prefinished doors through Homebase. Supposed to be high quality engineered doors. Professional carpenter engaged to install - because if the poor quality internal chipboard and with thin veneer, intallation of handles and privacy locks a nightmare. Internal chipboard disintegrated and handles have no substantial construct to engage coming loose with covering veneer and underlying chipboard coming away - lasted a few months only. Having now to replace all doors with better quality alternative product. When one completed disintegrated around the handle purchased a replacement which came damaged and needed to itself be replaced - this quicker handled by Homebase Now pushing full refund for all doors from Homebase under the 10 year warranty.

We ordered 12 doors through a 3rd party. LPD delivered the doors on time & the driver was very helpful. He noticed a mark on one of the doors so took it back, we had a phone call from customer services within the hour & replacement door delivered next day as we have workmen in fitting them, even the workmen commented on the great quality. All round great service & product. HIGHLY recommended.

I recently bought a full set of internal doors for my house and a new external door. Service , delivery and the quality were first class - a really professional company.
We needed many doors of different sizes but all the same design including standard and firedoors. LPD had an amazing range and they were delivered on time in full! Have now used LPD a number of times and will continue to do so, their range and service is brilliant.

Refusal to provide the minimum legal requirement of a replacement for very faulty goods. Very poor quality and shocked at the appalling customer services when (very politely) reporting the faults.
Needed to return a door to LPD as they sent it on wrong in the first place, i've been waiting over a month for a replacement door even though they were at fault by sending in the wrong door, the driver Gary came in to deliver another door, would not take the wrong door back and very very rude and rushed about before i could get the door on the lorry to send back. Bad service and rude driver
Total rubbish supplied How can a solid oak door be de laminating I would check very carefully what they are suppling 3 weeks late as well

Bought doors from LPD via Homebase my advice is avoid both companies. The doors arrived and I asked the delivery driver from LPD if I should check them no he said. We then open them to fit yesterday and found one is warped and the other has a huge chip on it. Contacted both companies for a replacement and they refuse to do anything. So both ignoring consumer law! Do not waste your money with either company!
We bought three tables and all were damaged with scratches. We phoned to complain and another 3 tables were sent, these were also all damaged. We phoned to complain again and insisted the stock was checked before sending only to be told all 30 tables at the warehouse were damaged. We then asked if we could have a refund which they said we could have, but only once the tables were collected, they would ring us with a date and time. LPD arrive un-announced and said the driver could not carry the furniture on his own and we would have to help carry it, so we sent them away. LPD then arrived un-announced again during a very important inspection, so we turned them away again. The driver made a derogatory comment to one of our managers, we made a complaint however, we subsequently dropped this as good will. I then spoke to LPD and asked what would happen to the tables as they were damaged and asked if the would donate them to our care home for disabled people or offer it to us at a discount for good will to make up for the trouble we have had. The man on the phone put me on hold and then came back with a price of £400! This is not far off what we payed for them in the first place! Be careful as a lot of the damage is not as advertised and their customer services are not very helpful.
This company is big joke. Drivers on drugs,office staff on drugs so how this company trading on the market.I lost so much money because LPD forgot to send me my doors.I have complaint from customer who was verry angry with late delivery and fitting. 2 weeks after LPD forgot to delivery my 11 doors and again my customer was furry. I lost £1700 and on the end LPD said sorry and I give you extra door free. I said no thanks I will go to different company. Bog joke with this businnes. Stay away from Leeds Plywood and Doors.
Customer service a joke bought 6 oak veneer doors the 4 wide doors were fine the 2 two feet doors were like a zebra crossing in the shade of oak veneer. i put a complaint into customer service and was told that because we had fitted them they are refusing the claim for new doors. Will not buy there doors again.
We ordered some French doors. On delivery the driver removed them from the van and dragged them across the ground scraping the meagre protection wrapping on the and damaging the door. These doors are wrapped in pairs and must weigh over 60 kilos. One delivery driver is not enough and is it legal under health and safety to send a package of that size with one person. I understand it is 'kerbside delivery' but it still has to be delivered to suitable place which will require lifting. Customer service say 'I'll have a word with the management team' and then leave you hanging on the phone, twice that happened, so obviously their policy. Anyway it worked, I can't be bothered with them. Doors are repairable but not what I expect.
