Eva from Lottie has supported me in my quest to find a care home for my brother. She has telephoned and emailed me regularly to check progress and has given good and sound advice on what to do next. I don't know what I would have done without her support, help and information.

This was then followed up by email confirming actions taken and additional guidance on funding support that may be available. All guidance given in a very friendly and supportive manner

I am helping a friend, who has to move from her current care home, due to nursing needs. This was thrown upon us very quickly and we were told the move had to be done quickly, I was given Lotties details and they have been nothing short of amazing. I was contacted by Eva who help found suitable accommodation instantly. She has constantly communicated with me to see how the proposed move is going and has not only been checking in on my elderly friends well-being, but also my own, which has been wonderful considering how stressful this is for all involved. She has also given me information to ensure my friend gets all the help she is entitled to. When you’re juggling so much, it’s easy to miss out on things, and we know it’s never easy to access what’s available. I feel confident in knowing Eva and the team are there to help, even if just being in the background. Finding care no matter how deep your pocket, is a minefield for the carer who needs break. Unlike hotels it is impossible to book rooms in advance and the types and quality vary considerably. This is where Lottie is invaluable. From the outset, good advice and experience and a friendly ear, my guide helped so much in a world where I had had little experience. The help given was invaluable.

The requirement for a Home was sudden and for my brother aged 84 and after an ankle operation. Having little idea about what would be involved I resorted to the internet. Lottie "appeared" and Ruby had everything sorted within 24 hours. A great relief and the Care Home is good and providing additional and very helpful service. eg transport to the hospital...

If only I knew of Lottie at the beginning of our search for a home. Basically all the searching for our needs and viewing appointments are made through lottie! Efficient, polite and caring all through this process. Highly recommend to take the stress, away.Thankyou Ruby

Ruby was really helpful without being pushy, the selection of care homes was good and representitive of the area. Information was clearly presented and gave some useful links. Appreciated the offer of future help should it be necessary.

I was frantically searching online for a suitable care home for my mother who is 89, as I'm so disappointed with the home she is currently in.  I made a call to a home, but it was late at night and they suggested I call back in the morning when someone could help me.  I continued with my search making a long list of care homes to call the next morning.  The situation with my mum is a very stressful one, as she isn't that well and the “care” she is receiving at her current home is a very poor standard.  The next morning I was literally at my wit's end with everything, as I have so much things on my plate to deal with and my mum's needs are my priority.  I was throwing my hands up in the air for help, when I got a call from a lady named Eva at Lottie. I didn't even have a clue who/what Lottie was at the time of the call.  It seems that the care home I called the night before was a home that Lottie are partnered with and Eva was making a follow up call to see how I got on.  All I can say is that an Angel named Eva was sent to me in my hour of need!! Eva has been so concerned about my desperate situation to get my mum moved to a more suitable and caring home.  The first thing she said is that I must not worry and assured me that she will help me every step of the way until my mum is moved to another home where we can be happy.  From that moment on, I have not been worried.  It's like my hand is being held and we are walking through this together. I was waking up every night with anxiety and I can honestly say I now have peace of mind. Just to have some support in an area I know nothing about, it's just so comforting and helpful. Eva genuinely cares and always asks how my mum is doing.  She also assists if you need to write an email as she has all the knowledge and expertise. My mum is not in a new home yet as she has recently been taken into hospital, however we have now found a home which is a MUCH nicer place and I am sure we'll be a lot happier there.  Thank you so much for being there and all your help Eva, it means a lot :) and thank you to team Lottie x

We needed care at very short notice for our parents. Within a couple of hours of Lottie posting an ad on the Curam app we found a carer who lives close by. She has proved to be invaluable to our parents which is such a relief as they were reluctant to receive help at first.
