We were in a muddle trying to find a home for our 90 year old Dad who needed much more help than we could provide. We were looking for somewhere fairly close to us so that we could keep our visits up and to try to preserve what little memory he has of his life and family. We had been told that he might have to go into a long way away. Joe stepped in and helped us to find somewhere suitable not too far away. Cannot thank him enough for his care and knowledge.
This was first experience of contacting a care provider.I needed to find respite care for my mum asap as my dad had had a fall and was finding it too difficult to care for her whilst recovering. I was totally at sea as to what I needed to do and where to start. Eva (Lottie) was really helpful. She was more than happy to give me advice and information and took time to listen to my questions and see how best she could help.
I had no idea what to expect from Seniorcare by Lottie when I first reached out to them for help finding care support for my Mother, who is 89, but I can honestly say they have been brilliant. Within 24 hours of my initial contact I had been assigned a dedicated Care Expert - Eva. She has been amazing - providing me with information on help at home, including an idea on costs, and then when my Mum was hospitalised, providing targeted information on local residential care homes for potential respite care - not a list of every care home available, but trying to find a good match for my Mum, to reduce the amount of leg work my Brother and I had to do, and de-stressing what can be a very stressful process. Eva reaches out to me on a regular basis to check in and see how my Mum is and whether her support is needed. Having the help of Eva / Lottie gives me another person who can help and discuss my Mum's needs with, share the stress with, and one with expert knowledge of the local care network.
