We have started the search for elder day care for a family member with dementia which will give respite to their partner. Having not done this before and with no recommendations of places to go, it felt overwhelming to start - a google search did not cut it for this job. So it's amazing to have access to Lottie through work. Our initial consultation with our care advisor was excellent. Katy was friendly, empathetic and knowledgeable, and returned a list of good options, located within an appropriate distance. Whilst it's now over to us to prepare the short list, we know we can get back in touch when it's time to arrange visits and learn more. Thank you Katy and Lottie.
The service was extremely helpful, the online form was easy to complete and the response was really quick The service makes the difficult process of finding the right care home easier and saves time. The follow up phone call from Katie was very quick was extremely helpful and supportive.
I have been looking for care options for my mum and dad for a while and have been struggling to find homes that will suit a couple with different needs. She is now looking into homes that will meet the needs of the person I am looking for. She also offered advice on benefits we may be able to claim. She was polite, understanding and helpful. Very helpful when looking for a nursing/dementia care home had lots of phone calls not all hopefully but it is helpful in another way of knowing certain homes are unable to accommodate my husbands needs
