Good product, good service, friendly, upfront and clear with the process. Did a good job and when we had a little glitch they more than happy to come and fix it. Katy B

Poor customer service from start to finish. We couldn’t get the sales rep to contact us when we wanted to add another curtain to the order we had already made. Then months later when they were finally ready the installer’s truck broke down. I was promised to be the first job on the new booking. Installer rocked up at about 10am and I had to go out. Got back just as he was “finished”. We had asked him to leave the free pelmet off until we saw it to decide if we wanted it up. We decided we did want it up and he just said sorry I have to get to the next job and left it for us to install! Then the blinds were jamming but they came and fixed that quickly and easily enough. Only reason for 2 stars is that the blinds are nice but the customer service lacked the whole way through. I wish I read all these reviews before placing my order!!!

Just reported Kresta to Fair Trading NSW. We had measurements in November and placed the order in December 2018 they said they planned to install before christmas. We contacted them numerous times between December and January and were only contacted 11 February when they demanded payment. We stupidly paid in full. The installer showed up the first time (mid February) with only the kitchen blind (in the wrong colour and installed incorrectly) and no curtains at all (ordered 4x curtains) we were told by the Caringbah store that he must have 'forgotten' them. Second time installer only had 3 of the 4 sets of curtains with the wrong brackets and incorrect length of track. Today when it was to be finalised they never showed up or contacted us to let us know that the job had been cancelled. The installer told me (after waiting 4 hours) that the job had been cancelled 12 hours ago and that the curtains weren't ready. WTH??? Please save yourself time and frustration and go with anyone else for your window treatments. It is simply not worth it.

Well organised company from start to finish. Very professional, cant understand all these reviews until I investigated that most have only posted one review. #cashforcomments.

Worst company, stay away save yourself the headache, cheap materials, delays delays delays and left the blinds dirty.

Made a 9.30am appointment, arranged time off work, waited, and waited, no one turned up, by 9.45am was making phone calls to their head office, they confirmed my appointment but couldn't contact the salesman, 2 phone calls and hours later still no show........... and 3 days later no contact from them to explain, apologise or try to reschedule........ they should change their tune to "13 13 We Don't Turn Up"

Dealing with Kresta Blinds has been one of the most frustrating and infuriating experiences of my life! Firstly, it has been over 5 months from quote and we are still waiting for blinds. Secondly, they repeatedly tried to charge me more than quoted amount because they could not understand their own ordering system. Third, the supervisor would not speak to me to resolve the cost issue until I threatened Fair Trade action. Fourth, my curtain installation was cancelled three times because I refused to pay an incorrect invoiced amount that was not itemised. Fifth, they turned up with the wrong tracks. Sixth, they turned up with the wrong tracks again and installed wrong tracks. Seventh, they turned up with wrong roller blinds and missing one. Eighth, they installed tracks leaving a huge hole in the wall of my brand new house, that was not mentioned at the time of installation and I've only found days later. I've spent $7000 with them and I'm taking action through Fair Trading first thing Monday morning.

Our blinds began malfunctioning in October (it would go down infinitely, until it rung itself up in reverse, and became jammed), we contacted Kresta to organise a repair. They informed us that there would be no repair man available to the next three months. In January we are finally able to get a repair guy out, he resolves the infinite unravelling issue, however the blind will now not go up all the way. The blind is over a door, and we are unable to use that door so long as the blind is down. The repair guy leaves without any word of when he will return to finish the job. Meanwhile we are living with an unusable door. We call up Kresta again, the very next week, to inform them that the repair guy didn't actually resolve the issue, rather created a new one, and they tell us they will send a guy out again. That day comes and goes, and we get a call telling us the repair guy got caught up with another client, so can't come. Again, they do not reschedule the repair. We call Kresta AGAIN. They tell us the guy will come on the 25th of February. We ask for the morning (don't want the guy being held up and ignoring us again), they say sure, and book us in. The 25th comes and goes. we call and demand to know what happened, they tell us they actually scheduled it for the 27th, despite us having a recording that it was meant to be the 25th. Again, we make sure that it is the morning appointment on the 27th. Lo-and-behold, despite demanding that we be the repair mans first appointment in the morning, and having taken ANOTHER day off work to ensure that someone is here, it is now the afternoon of the 27th and we haven't had so much as a phone call to explain the repair mans absence yet again. This has now been going on for 5 months. DO NOT USE KRESTA! Your blind will not be serviced!

Useless company. Don't know how they're still operating , they can't even install my blinds on time and they demand full payment before installation which is really unprofessional. Would never use this company again !!!

Absolutely Disgusted - I cannot begin to write about my poor experience fast enough. Incorrect measurements, poorly installed blinds and curtains, installer revisited multiple times, used brackets that bent within 15 mins, still haven't got two blinds correct, waiting over 8 months now...the solution offered unacceptable and they want to charge me for the privilege or replacing them...STAY AWAY, USE A LOCAL BLIND MAKER INSTEAD, FAR BETTER QUALITY AND BETTER CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE!!!

I had the same bad experience as the other customers did. I faced a long delay. I did pay a deposit in advance, but they asked for full payment before they would install. It seems that while they are inefficient, they seem to distrust their customers. Quite an unusual type of business. They need training in customer service.

What a joke of a company and thats putting in lightly, never have I ever experienced the worst customer service, place on order for x3 curtains, was quote 6-8 weeks it took 3 months, and not to mention endless phone calls and getting told completely incorrect information each time .One department blaming the other was told that they were waiting on the tracks to come from Brisbane two weeks later I followed up to be told no that was the wrong information the order hadn't even been processed. Phone call after phone call I was about to cancel and demand my refund but was repeatedly told I would have them in the next week honestly the right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing. Each time I made my inquiry I got told a different story after 3 mths and numerous phone calls I was than called by some rude young voice on the phone that I had now to pay my final balance or the instalment date would be cancelled.I was furious, how can you pay for something before you even receive the product.I was also told that I would have my curtains install first on the day because of the mismanagement but to no avail was the second last customer for the day and still I had to call and find out a time. Please take my advise and DO NOT USE this company -absolutely appalling and I don't know how this company is still operating.

Worst company ever . If you want curtain or blinds go elsewhere . It has been nothing but a nightmare. The girls in the office are great it just the rest of their service. I ordered sheer curtains, waited 6 weeks and when they arrived they were too short despite both the fitter and sales person measuring the curtains. The company then said the problem was the carriers and ordered new ones . Second fitter arrived with new carriers and pegs but no curtains. What a joke . I have asked for a refund and lodged a claim with consumer affairs but still waiting for my money back . Next option go to court 🤬

By far the worst company I have ever dealt with, in any industry. I was told the blinds would be ready in 3 weeks and the first lot arrived after 2.5 months. There was no communication during this time. I called multiple times and no one would ever call us back. When the blinds did arrive, 4 out of 7 were the wrong size. I had to call 3-5 times a day for over a week to finally speak to someone about getting a refund for the remaining blinds as I did not want to wait another 2.5 months to get the rest. I left multiple messages and no one ever called back. A staff member hung up on me during this time and laughed when I told him how long I had waited for blinds. When I asked for the refund for the remaining blinds, I was told that I wasn’t entitled to one and I was bound by my contract, which Consumer Affairs Victoria confirmed was untrue. They assured me that all remaining blinds would be installed within a week. Two weeks later, and after taking another day off work, only 3 out of 4 blinds arrived. When I questioned the missing blind, I was told by the installer it wasn’t ready and never would have been ready in two weeks. Of the three that were ready, one had a huge cut in it. I called the manager again to ask for a refund and once again was told that I wasn’t entitled to one. I asked about the missing blind and the manager first tried to lie and say she told me that it wouldn’t be ready. She then tired to blame it on the installer and finally admitted it was her error. By this stage, I had called Consumer Affairs Victoria and started a case against Kresta. It was only after I told them I was going to progress my case with Consumer Affairs that they said they would ask head office for approval to get a refund. I was told they would call me back the next day about it, which they didn’t, and I had to call them yet again. I finally got a refund for the missing and damaged blinds after almost four months. The blinds I did receive are terrible quality and look awful. We are going to have to replace all of them. So in summary, after many months and only after getting Consumer Affairs involved, I have 5 (out of 7) awful quality blinds. I lost countless hours on the phone to them and three days of work. I am going to be out of pocket over $1500 to have all the blinds that were installed replaced. I wouldn’t wish having to deal with this company on my worst enemy.

Just a very bad experience that every time I looked at my bedroom curtains I asked my self why did I pay that much of money for tese curtains??? For 3 long months, given a quote, lost my quote, found my quote, accepted the quote, remeasuring to be fitted, order arrived but the warehouse did not even scan to let the office aware the curtains were ready so I have to call them and find out because it was too long since they said " urgent" . Booked in for installation, the guy did not turn up for 3 times, until the 4th before I could ask for a refund because I could not reschedule my work anymore, so unreliable. Finally, after the 4th time another guy turned up, 5 minutes job. All done, however the curtains were extra long so they don't look nice when they touched the floor, the over flap of the curtain was on the wrong side so night time I could have all the light from the street lights shinning on our face, using clips, velcro straps to close the gap so no lights can go through into your bedroom at night. It was supposed to be replaced my old curtains to be " blocked out" . Please customer, if you are thinking of new curtains for your house don't go to Kresta blinds, especially if you are in Nunawading area because only 1 guy who does the fitting job so if he could not make it you will waste more time to reschedule.

We bought both plantation shutters and curtains around 8 years ago now,and spent around $14,000 doing so. The shutters on double hinged set of doors began to sag very early on but was told to just deal with it and lift the doors up as we closed them, interesting!!! But the main issue is that after spending that amount on the shutters, they don't carry the spare parts to replace broken shutter clips ( the ones that attach to each blade and connects to control arm). Surely when a company sells a premium product, they should be able to supply replacement parts, I'm willing to pay, even though I was originally told they had a 15year warranty but only to be told now that they supposedly had only a 2 year warranty. We wouldn't have bought them if they only had a two year warranty!!! The clips are only plastic and would only cost a couple cents to make but now I'm left with shutters not opening, spinning freely. Consumer warranty is what's going through my mind!!! I doubt the clips were even UV stabilised as the the ones in direct sun are all failing!!! I rang Kresta Loganholme but was told there was not much I can do as they have since changed the style of shutters and couldn't get the replacement parts anymore!!! Where can I get these clips!!!

It has been more than 12 months since I ordered my curtains from Kresta (ordered May 2017). I still don’t have the curtains I paid for. I have had 4 lots of curtains delivered none of which have been correct. Delivery 1: waited 4 months for them to arrive. They were the wrong fabric and wrong size. Clearly not my curtains. Delivery 2: right fabric but wrong size. Wrong opening Delivery 3: right fabric. Wrong size and wrong opening. Delivery 4: right fabric and right size and opening as ordered but all the finished edges were wavy and not hanging straight. So unsightly and extremely disappointing. Have been trying to have them replaced. One thing that compounds the frustration of this saga is that I wanted a centre opening with a gathered header. The sales consultant insisted that I should have an off centre opening with a box pleat header. I took her advice as she is an expert - right? In reality the box pleats are too heavy for the fabric and the header falls forward and the off centre opening covers more than half my window when open so blocks the view and the light. A second thing that compounds the frustration is that the customer service from Kresta is non existent. It has taken 23 phone calls and emails and discussion with a variety of people to try to get any resolution to the situation. I have now been waiting 4 week for a manager to ring me back to tell me when the fifth set of curtains will arrive. Hopefully they will be the right fabric, right size, centre opening and gathered header - just as I wanted 12 months ago. At this stage I just want a full refund of the purchase price as I have certainly not received the goods as advertised or in a timely manner.

Forget Kresta. Just finished the 3rd attempt to install blinds that should be correctly sized for my window frames. Still not the right outcome and patience has worn out. Hopeless despite good sounding support service. The installer was also helpful and keen to do a good job, but the blinds don't fit the windows again. Looks like I need to try Luxaflex after all.
