I got Kresta’s Albert in to advise about some options for window dressings on behalf of the new, incoming owners. I found Albert professional, polite, and helpful. He got back to me straight away and organised the asked for job efficiently. Very happy with Albert and with Kresta. Would 100% use them again.
waiting 3 months for goods then -Wrong product, wrong dimensions, do not reply or communicate in any way, I am still waiting after 6 weeks to know how this will be rectified. avoid paying them 100% upfront as I stupidly did.
Absolutely terrible, sales rep was good, ordered blinds in November. Got to the new year and had to chase them up. Was told the blinds weren't available. About a week later got a call that the blinds were available, pay the balance and we will book you in for the next week. THAT WAS 4 WEEKS AGO!! Three bookings where we have taken the day off work to be home for them, three no shows. We're booked for Wednesday next week, Customer service called to change to last Saturday. When we hadn't heard from the installer mid morning on Saturday we called him directly. He said that there was no job for him on Saturday. Customer service called today saying that since WE cancelled the installer can we rebook to coming Friday. How in the heck did we cancel the installer when we called him direct to find out where he was? This is the 4th time that the installation has been cancelled and it is not good enough. We shouldn't be told by customer service that we are in the wrong when we have paid in full and haven't received what we paid for. Terrible company.... Do not use
1. I felt harassed, intimidated and coerced by the sales representative into signing a contract to purchase curtains from Kresta. I raised my compliant with Kresta, telling the Kresta manager that harassment is not permitted under Australian Consumer Law. Their response was to repeatedly say "you did not have to sign" and 'I was not there, so cannot comment". I was upset at being dismissed and belittled by the manager, so I said "I guess if a knife was held at my throat, I still do not have to sign, so you are technically correct". They agreed! I then stated but that does not mean it is acceptable, and being harassed and coerced is not acceptable. Guess their reply? .... " You did not have to sign" ... So beware: they apparently think harassment and coercion is not a concern! And is apparently quite legal. 2. I also told the Kresta manager that the contract states full payment is required prior to delivery and installation, and this is specifically listed on the ACCC website as an example of a contract which breaches Consumer law as it is considered "unfair". Unfortunately their response was that this is "Just a guide". When did Australian Consumer Law become "a guide"!! Please be very aware and check all relevant Australian Consumer law requirements before signing any contract with Kresta. The ACCC website is a good place to start. My best advice is to have nothing to do with Kresta at all (I have not even included here the false and misleading information I was given by Kresta).
Attended the Nunawading store this morning 11th Jan 2024. Could not find a price on any of the items in store. Woman behind the desk was staring off into space and seemed unwilling to consult with the only customer. If it wasn't for the fact that she moved her head when the phone rang (she let it ring out) I would have thought she was either a prop or dead.
Ordered two SheerFold made to measure blinds in June 2023 but when installed the vertical blinds did not end up being a consistent distance apart when closed and looked 'off'. Customer Service don't answer calls or emails so issue still not resolved. Made to Measure is not made to measure
Don’t get stung by this company absolutely terrible service blinds are made in china and the people who do the measuring are terrible my experience has ranged from incorrect measuring to colour difference in the same order and once they have you’re money i they don’t care
I explained to the consultant that I want a formal look in my sheer curtains in 3 rooms. I wanted a neat curtain that was the same flow from top to bottom (some makers call this an S fold). What I got was cheap looking, free flowing messy creased curtains. I hate them. I also requested a backing blind which was also a block out blind. What I got lets the light through & this is not what I want. I tried calling Kresta at 9:15 & 9:40 am but they say that I rang outside business hours & I need to call between 9-5 hours !!! My phone is old & does not let me attach a picture to send to my email or download. I can however send the photo as a text msg to another phone.
Don't want to give one star. Forfeited my deposit. Don't want to deal with this company except in court.
THE CURTAINS ARE EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED .THEY WERE PROPERLY MEASURED AND INSTALLED HOWEVER THE CUSTOMER SHOULD KNOW THAT THE CURTAINS ARE COMING FROM W.A. AND WILL BE SOME TIME. THE SERVICE FROM MAX AND BRYAN WAS GREAT BUT THE BASIC COMPANY LEAVES ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT .
The only responsive person was the installer. Waited 10 weeks for the curtains. There is no point in calling the showroom as call always goes to voice mail and no one EVER calls you back. Finally upon installation: the living room blackout had a stain and will have to be re-ordered and the bedroom curtain is way too long, although it was specified that there should be no puddling on the curtains and to my surprise they wanted to charge an extra $240 to take up a brand new curtain which they made wrong. Taking the case to the Victorian Fair Trade department. This has been the worst company I ever dealt with in my whole like. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else.
I ordered curtains and shutters from Kresta Blinds for my apartment. Whilst the initial interaction was positive, once I placed the order, the wheels fell off. I will never again purchase anything from Kresta. Here's why: 1. What was meant to take '4-6 weeks' to be manufactured took nearly 3 months. I understand supply chain issues, but there was no communication from the company in the interim. 2. Installer ('Nick') turned up with wrong brackets and couldn't hang the curtains, although the shutters were put up efficiently. 3. The Venetian blind I ordered actually didn't fit, so couldn't be installed. 'Nick' left it behind saying it wasn't his problem to take away as I'd paid for it. Same with the curtains. 4. When I rang the 'office' to talk about what happens next, they said they didn't have a record of any issues. This is despite the installer taking a photo of the Venetian blind that didn't fit and sending it to them via email. He said he also told then he had the wrong curtain brackets in the same email. 5. They also said they didn't have an installer called 'Nick'. They said it was meant to be 'Frank'. 6. Rescheduling the curtain installation has been a nightmare. You would think they'd prioritize my installation given it was their mistake that they weren't hung on the day. Kresta insists on installing curtains when it suits THEM, not the customer. They only have one installer my area, so it's about when 'he's in the area'. As at time of writing, I'm still trying to negotiate an installation date. Give Kresta a hard pass. I wish I had gone somewhere else.
Don't use this company they don't get back to you on their customer care centre,my Shutter's have screws that are going rusty and they won't replace them said not covered by twenty year warranty have asked if they can send me the parts to replace myself but no answer back completely ignore you, not good enough after spending -$15,000 they should have used stainless steel fittings in the first place.

Don't even think about ordering with Kresta. Six months later and we are still waiting - despite the fact they require full payment early on. No responses to emails or phone calls. Virtually no customer service.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. AVOID AT ALL COSTS They require full payment before job is started! Foolishly I paid in full ($6000) only to find that the product was the wrong one. I was told by them it was my fault and to order what was needed I would need to pay extra, again I was required to pay in full before any work was started! I was happy to pay a deposit and the remainder of payment at the time of completion. They even quoted on something that could not be installed in our home! Literally the worst experience! I ordered the automatic blinds in May 2022 and they are still not supplied or installed! They do not return phones and if they do they blame everything on you - they do not take any responsibility! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!
We paid for my Kresta shutters in March 2022 (7 months ago) and still have not had my order completed or installed. They incorrectly measured the first time (significantly off) and now we have been waiting 3 months (and counting). I have called customer service multiple times - the first person said it would be "prioritised", however, when I called back after hearing nothing for months the 2nd person said it was still "waiting for production" (and she could not explain why). Will likely be a year plus (from order date) before we have these blinds and no attempt to rectify this has been made. Terrible customer experience!
I rang up kresta to organize a measure and quote for plantation shutters. A guy got back to me 2 days later telling me he can come on Friday at 1 pm. I told him no one is home on any day at that time and can he come after 4 or on Saturday. He basically said no to both and ended the conversation. Very rude and surely they can work around a customer’s schedule.
It’s now 6 months on and I’m still waiting for one blind !!! One freakin blind kresta ! You don’t return calls you don’t keep promises but you take full payment and keep telling lies !! This was all your mistake to why your guy installed half a blind and measurements were wrong , NO longer will a simple sorry do, sick of the absolute bla that comes from such an incompetent company! For anyone considering kresta don’t use them ! Go to elsewhere, this company is shocking at contacting customers , keeping dates and shonky deals , quality is poor and they don’t even offer a discount or upgrade when clearly they screw up and make you wait 6 months !
I bought curtains from Kresta in Qld who also own Curtain Wonderland. 12 months later, and 4 attempts, and the curtains still aren't the correct length. The operations team are hopeless, and I've been dealing with the overall Manager of both comapnies with no satisfaction. I feel sorry for the instore staff who are doing their best and completely let down by the lack of professionalism, follow through and complete lack of customer service by the operations leadership and team.
