I asked Kresta for a quote for new canvas awnings. Their company was the closest and I was happy to use local but asked two other companies for quotes also to compare. Our blinds are on the front of the house, there is no fence so they are easily accessible and I explained that in my email along with the colour and style of awning I wanted. Kresta replied very promptly with a list of dates that their rep could call. I am unavailable during the day so rung them to say he could call any time. the gentleman told me I needed to be home and they were not allowed to call to quote unless I was home. Why? As it was not possible for me to be there they never came to quote. My question to Kresta is what is your "non contact" policy with covid19 in mind, as there are still a lot of elderly and immune compromised people out there that need a non contact service. I asked this question on their Face book page but my post was removed which then made me cross. So here I am asking it here! Needless to say the other two companies came and quoted without me being home and one of them has our business. J McKenzie SA
I have cellular blinds which are just over 2 years old and the cords are defective. One has snapped with the blind half open and another is fraying. Kresta is aware of this problem and have not only refused to replace at their expense, they can’t even organise someone to come and look if I pay. These blinds cost thousands of dollars and this would have to be the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Update - after repeated assurances that there would be a service person in Victoria who would come and replace the cords I am now told by the store in Mentone that they are just keeping a “list of problems” with no one currently doing anything to resolve them. They blame covid. Meanwhile I am looking at having to have this tricky mechanism fixed at my own expense and a lot of engagement with fair trading and VCAT. I am beyond angry
Do not waste your time or money with this company. Once they have your deposit, you will not hear a single thing for months. After finally getting our curtains installed, the strings are stretching like they going to break, the tracks look like they are going to fall off the roof and the overall finish is no where near up to standard. Emailed them and they replied on the 9/06 that their Service Manager Dave was going to come inspect the curtains. Nothing but silence. Have emailed again asking when someone is going to contact us, still no reply. WORST customer service and totally average product, what as waste of space this company is.
If you’re reading this and thinking about using Kresta, I would strongly urge you to find another company. I had blinds and curtains fitted 4 years ago. One of the curtain rail started bowing last year. I fixed that but this year, the fittings for the same curtain have snapped. They’re odd fittings and so not easy to find. I’ve been emailing/trying to talk to Kresta since the beginning of April and yet to have a solution. I would strongly recommend going to another company.
My cellular blinds are less than three years old but the blind cords (loop/ clutch) which looked flimsy from the start, are fraying and one has snapped. This clutch system was the only one available at the time and is one to be avoided. While the mechanics of replacing the cord seems quite easy, obtaining a replacement loop is proving to be impossible. Kresta blinds don't really want to know if you have a problem and the "service fitter" has not returned my email. I was just fobbed off to a local blind repairer who said he could not fix the blind either. These were expensive blinds and I'm disgusted that these products are not only of questionable quality (they should not break after only 3 years) but there is no recourse for repairing problems without the time and expense of sending the blinds back to WA. This is unacceptable. Kresta should have something in place for getting parts and doing their own repairs at least in each state.
Well as we are going through difficult times i organized blinds in my house on 22nd February & gave them a deposit for $1,500 made a few phone calls. One thing is for certain they will not call you. You have to call them to see how far they're going. Made a call the other day, the lady on the phone quite friendly. I'll send you the call to the manager & work something out, still nothing. I wonder how long i have to wait? We are going through pretty tough times
Do not use this company........ Unanswered emails and telephone calls to waste time initially. Promises that are not kept. The worst experience from a sales company ever. I am waiting to hear back from ACCC but very tempted to speak to people in front of the Nunawading store. I would love to be able to warn more people and save their money. Use a company that produces in Australia and read their reviews first. I wish I had of read these reviews first 30/6/2020 Finally told today (3 months after promised date without contact or apology) that my order is ready for installation. I have told them and they have agreed that I will not pay the remaining half until I am satisfied with the product and installation. I will also take off the offered 10% discount on the total. Am waiting for the call to arrange a time but not holding my breathe Will never use or recommend this company again
Order placed early February appx $8300 and 50% upfront deposit paid with installation due early march as promised by sales person just to get order, because initially I was not sure of 4 weeks lead time. But sales person convinced me and got the deposit there and then. But that's where all ends, No Phone call received, No Email updates, No response to my email. After I called multiple times . We waited a further two months without any communication and thought if the company actually exist, is our money got scammed. Finally got response after I complaint to consumer affair after 3 month, requested a refund. Still waiting on the decisions.
My order was delayed which I understand can happen, BUT the customer service was rubbish. I constantly had to call them for updates which were not forth coming. When we finally did receive delivery after 4 months they did not fit and now I am having to wrestle for a refund. My advice is to find a local Australian based supplier. You may pay more but it will be worth every cent.

I ordered and paid for my shutters at the end of December 2019 and was told 10-11 weeks. It has now been 17 weeks and the only communication I’ve had is me calling on the 17th April to get an update and the response ‘the ETA is the 1st April. We will call when they are ready’ From what I have read on here, I’m obviously not the only one. I understand there are delays but the customer shouldn’t have to call for updates.

Like so many other people, I have been ignored after they take your money and then don't deliver. Ordered and paid half for shutters last December.....still no word of any delivery. It's now 20th April and I cannot get any response from Kresta. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Other outlets might be a little dearer but you get SERVICE. SILLY ME for trying to save a buck! Now trying legal way to get a refund.
Customer #CN142578, Lead #LN715861 Follow-up of my review here on 4 Mar. Was promoised to receive the refund on 3 April from Kresta Regents Park on 27 Mar and nothing has happended, again and again! It's really unprofessional with the way they handle this matter, never kept what they promised, how can we trust a company like this?! We are not asking for compensation but just getting our money back for what they cannot deliver as per order.
Customer service is appalling. The manager was supposed to call me nearly 2 weeks ago regarding the installation of blinds in my son in laws new home. The installer didn't bother to remove the small nails that were holding the tarps that were at the window. My son in law is in a wheelchair! Very bad service especially for the cost of the product.
As others have mentioned Kresta is appalling with its customer service and value for money. I would give them zero stars if possible. I have experienced a 10 week wait time for my order with zero contact from kresta. I constantly have to follow up and contact them for a status update. They offered me a measly 5% discount which is laughable considering the awful experience I’ve had. Please tell your friends and family not to use this company, not unless they want a headache.

I am so frustrated and angered by this whole experience, I just wish I had seen the numerous bad reviews on their Facebook page and here before I ever placed my order. After paying in FULL as requested in Dec I am still waiting on my order to be supplied. I placed my order back in October, my sheers were ordered in the wrong colour from the get go but after being promised that the wrong coloured set would be installed before Christmas and my new set would be remade and installed ASAP, I accepted their apology and excuses to find no one ever contact me. So after numerous calls, I’m talking close to 10, I finally got an install date booked and paid in full. Install happened the wrong track was supplied, subsequently one set of the ‘incorrect sheers’ couldn’t be installed, my Venetians haven’t even been sized correctly and they drilled into my wall. I called and emailed from 18 December to 15/1/2020 and no one responded! Finally sent an email to customer care to have someone call and apologise as my sheers were never reordered. Advised it would be another 4/6weeks, although no one has followed up again! So here I go again chasing you guys up to be told they won’t be ready until end of March, I don’t know what’s happening with the track or resizing of my Venetians because no one answers me! And here I find myself again calling and emailing constantly. I just want my money back - you are thieves! You have taken my money, I have paid in full! How can a company of this size get away with this, it is disgusting! DONT BE FOOLED - DONT BOTHER ORDERING WITH KRESTA AS THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DONT FOLLOW THROUGH! THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!!
As with other reviews these guys are terrible when it comes to customer service. We were booked in to have our curtains installed (ordered in November and the shutters aren’t ready yet) at 2:30pm. After not hearing from them and taking a day off work (unpaid) my wife contacted them at 3pm only to be told they won’t make it unless it’s after 5pm which we can’t do. Told now that someone will call us to reschedule. Terrible when they already have your money.
After 4 months waiting and learning earlier in January they forgot to order tracks for my curtains I have been left to wait for longer, and now they come back again saying the tracks for the curtains were still not ordered. Frustrating. They pushed me to pay full amount and have no any timing for the installation, only promises they never keep.
4th month waiting for curtain installation. They requested to pay full payment. Don't even tell when to expect, saying they will inform as delivered.
