I ordered blinds and curtains in September 2019 and am STILL waiting for 1 of the blinds (which had been measured incorrectly despite sending out 2 people to measure) and the curtains to be installed (some were installed but were again too short). I have spoken with numerous people, all of who say they will call back with an update, but nobody calls back. This is disgraceful. Not only is there no customer service, but I've already paid for these goods in full (which was required at the time of the initial installation in January 2020). I was told there would be a further wait of 4 weeks for the incorrectly measured blind (putting the revised installation to the middle of February) and STILL cannot get an answer from anybody in the company as to when I will have my blind. They STILL haven't sent anyone out to remeasure the curtains that are too short, so goodness knows when I'll ever receive these. This is no way to operate a business and I would not recommend this company to anyone. They have got their money and clearly have wiped themselves clear of any responsibility to complete the job satisfactorily.
Disgraceful company. I never write reviews but in this case I have to. Ordered and paid deposit for shutters in October and still waiting in mid February for an update of when I can expect to see these installed. After continuous follow ups for 6 weeks for any updates about the second measure up I received a call late December saying the order had not been even processed and looking at another 3 months. I then agreed to no extra discount on the blinds with the promise they would be marked as priority and would be installed mid February. After two more follow ups now being mid February and no shutters or communication- I am finally told that this was the wrong information and there is no eta or idea of when I will see the shutters due to the virus in China. Unbelievable. Seriously the worst company I have ever dealt with. Highly recommended taking your money and time somewhere else. UPDATE Order number SN132610 After another email 4 days ago from the store saying the Regional Manager would call to follow up my complaint I have again had no response.
The sales consultant was lovely during the quote and prior to purchasing the blinds, albeit a tad pushy and kept trying to change the way we wanted it installed. Unfortunately since then communications have not been as prompt or helpful from the consultant, either not getting any reply or waiting one week for a reply. I finalised and paid the order on 3 Jan 2020 and was initially expecting a 2-3 week turnaround (in line with other suppliers who quoted) as I was initially told this over the phone prior to getting a quote. I then found out that the blinds are actually made in China and not locally. At the 3-4 week mark (29 Jan 2020) I contacted the Joondalup office to follow up as I had not been updated as promised - all payments were made on time or early. The person who took my call was pleasant over the phone and blamed the blow out in manufacturing and shipping times on Chinese New Year (25 Jan 2020) but given the time estimates I find this hard to believe given they should've already been on their way or in Perth by this time. The company has made very little effort to rectify the situation and I strongly suggest potential clients go elsewhere. UPDATE: After telling Kresta that I was going to initiate a charge back through my bank the blinds were magically in the country and could be installed the following day.
BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. Despite reading some bad reviews I heard some good feedback from family who had used this company years ago. I have been waiting for my blinds for FOUR months now. I am getting nothing but delays from this company and poor communication. I have chased them every week for an update and i just keep on getting put off. I have taken three days off work for them to install my blinds and the last time round they called me at 8am in the morning saying that half of them still had not arrived yet. I have been living in my house without furnishings on my bedroom for a month now. DO NOT PAY IN FULL UNTIL YOU HAVE ALL OF THE PRODUCTS YOU HAVE ORDERED INSTALLED.
Worst ever in customer service! If I could give zero stars, I would. I have never before experienced such incompetence and bad customer service! I have had to initiate no less than 9 phone calls, each time receiving abundant but clearly insincere apologies and promises, only to then hear nothing again from the person I spoke to. The last status was that nobody knows where my blinds are that needed to go back to the factory for re-sizing......I was promised a call today, but of course I have heard nothing! Given that all of their products are available from other retailers, I cannot advise strongly enough to go elsewhere. I know I will.
What an experience, we have been waiting for months!!! The most appallingly service I have ever experienced. Job half done, fitters show up with wrong blinds! The excuses, what a list I have compiled. Can’t wait to share these with Fair Trading. By the way they have our money, the full balance. How can such a company operate with such disregard to the consumer, beware do not use this company. I’ll update you on the next excuse shortly. 40 degree heat and we can’t keep the sun out. Thanks Kresta I have young children. I’ll be asking for a full refund. Stay tuned I’m coming after you hard on this one. I have never experienced anything like it in my life!!! The most disgusting company I have ever dealt with. They are liers!!! They take your money and you won’t see your product for months. The most unprofessional staff . They have been making excuses everyday , you can never ever get a straight answer from any staff member about where my product is , finally they book me in then they don’t turn up with no explanation, I had to chase them up , then they tell me that the booking was for the week after. Finally the fitter came to install and he asked me if I had the track cause he only had the slats !!! What a joke!!!!!! So once again no blinds installed! It took them all day to find my track which apparently was put in the wrong bay! Crap!!! All lies!!!! So they book me in for the following morning to install , I specifically asked if they are sure they will be here she said yes yes!! Well guess what ??? No body came to install. Kresta are theifs liers ! They are a disgrace. If you are thinking of use if them I strongly suggest you don’t, they will make u commit by taking your money and then your stuck with no blinds for months. Kresta you all are incompetent disgraceful liers.
Went to Parafield Showroom with my own measurements colour of vertical slats and old measure and quote to make it easy to order.The SalesWoman looked at me dumbly. Could not find colour examples of track did not know how I would order the handle from left to right on one and right to left on the other because of a bay window.Admitted she would not know how to write up the order and measurements????? This is on par with the last Showroom person who had great difficulty with cms and mms. KRESTA get it together with your Staff.Employ people who know their stuff and are engaging. The only reason I am there again is I am trying to match existing verticals.

I have emails as well and contact persons name who has contacted me late last year. Requesting person from Kresta to contact back as per email received on 30/12 that further follow will happen in 2 weeks by end of week commencing 6 January 2020. Have sent email twice this week with nil contact back still. So frustrating as had hopes up that finally situation was heard last year and follow up may have been actioned as promised. But now once again chasing for answers.
I would not recommend Kresta!!! Their customer service after the initial sales lady came out has been appalling. I ordered blinds, curtains and shutters on the 1/11/19 and was told that my blinds and curtains would be in by Christmas. Well they did come instal the blinds on the 27/11/19 however 4 blinds were measured incorrectly and did not fit. A week later I had to call them as I received no call from the office to apologise for their error and let me know what was happening and what was the process involved for rectifying the issues. The lady I spoke to as apparently the fitting manager "was busy" said she would follow it up. Well guess what I haven't heard back from anyone!!! Oh and by the way.......surprise surprise I haven't received my curtains either.
Like so many other people here, I haven't had the greatest experience. I ordered blinds for our whole house when my baby was 2 weeks old. Was told 3 to 4 weeks, but call in 3 to find out what is happening. Calls and emails were never returned. My baby is now 10 weeks, so we have spent 2 months covering his windows in cardboard during the day then taking it down at night to let the breeze in. Then waking up at 5am with the sunrise. And hiding in the walk in wardrobe when the temperature is over 40. I can't say anything about the quality as I haven't received anything yet. Although given the other reviews, I don't have high hopes.
Like another reviewer here, we were promised pre-Christmas installation of blinds if we ordered by a specific date - ooh, which just happened to be the day the salesperson did the quote. We ordered because the price was good (not because I believed the threat that we'd miss out on pre-Christmas installation). The blinds apparently arrived the week before Christmas and I expected installation to be arranged shortly thereafter, as indicated by Kresta...but then the lies started. Firstly, it was stated that we didn't order in time for pre-Christmas installation. We were then told that no such promises would've been made by them. Instead of trying to provide a solution, we were offered a summary of key dates as a form of defence against their failure to commit. These dates were inconsistent with another Kresta rep's dates (which were also presented to defend against not delivering on time). Both sets of dates were different still to yet another of their colleagues who came so close to confirming I had indeed ordered in time for pre-Christmas installation and the order was coming along just fine, but she stopped short of committing entirely, simply to avoid putting anything in writing, no doubt. Eventually, after much struggle, installation was arranged for the end of the year but the installer called the day before the agreed date and gave virtually no notice period. Installation didn't happen. No commitment has been made about a replacement date and communication has just stopped. Nobody from Kresta is actively trying to resolve the situation. When we were in contact with Kresta, we'd hear from representatives from Perth, Mentone, Clayton, Nunawading...and not one of them seemed to have a clue. The blinds still haven't been installed. We don't know if or when they even will. This is the short version of our ordeal with this incompetent bunch of snakes. Do yourself a favour and avoid this business, even if it costs you more money. It's simply not worth it for the total absence of service and the problems you will likely encounter in the process of dealing with the worst company I've had the displeasure of dealing with in my life. I say that without any exaggeration. Kresta - you are a joke!
I wish I read this before I ordered. Pre Christmas delivery is an out right lie & shoddy business practise. It’s a couple of days out from Christmas & still no confirmed date of installation & no contact from the business. Zero customer service & no accountability or responsibility.
Kresta, you have the most atrocious customer service team, and service in general. We ordered our blinds nearly 4 months ago, we were promised they would block out the light when we had your consultant come to our house, and we ordered the blinds in a grey colour. When your installation team came to install them, not only where they white, and did not block out the light, but they also were not the correct size!! We then had to wait another month for correct size in wrong colour, they came to instal and were again wrong size! This process happened two more times, your team can not use a tape measure! All the while, while being promised the correct colour were being made in grey and would be installed. You never return our calls or emails, and when you promise to call back never do! We’re now have broken window frames from multiple drill holes, the wrong colours blinds, and a room as light as it was previously. Your service is horrifically bad! I’ll be ensuring everyone I know, hears about this, and knows not to use Kresta. We will also be taking this to fair trading Australia. We have tried many times to discuss this with you, to no avail. Have never had a bad experience with them.
Worked for them as an installer. Never got paid for months worth of work despite the fact they were paid for installation by customers. I was often embarrassed by the quality and constant complaints by customers who paid upfront. Stay away.
I have already sent an email to Kresta re the unhappy experience with curtains from their Broadmeadow shop but so far there is no response. So how can you expect good customer service from the front line when The Powers That Be do not respond!!!! The curtains that were made to measure were so crushed when hung that after a couple of weeks the fitter returned with a tiny hand held steamer to try to steam them out. Slightly better but while steaming against the windows the lining was transferred to them.!!!!!! Absolutely disgraceful response from original shop when I complained. If it wasn't for the lovely and helpful lady in the Penrith shop I would have got nowhere. She answered the phone when I called the generic number!!!!!
It takes a very long time to get the curtain and the customer service is the worst of all. If anyone ever say that these bad reviews is an exchange of cash, its not true! Althought I could get use to a refund if only Kresta let me get one for their fake promises. It has been 2 months since my first payment. The phone line is giving me frustration as they say that the other department will be calling me to instal the blinds when it is in stock. I heard nothing for so long and the agent that is dealing with me, Manila is so difficult to be contacted except the time that she is waiting for my payment. All she say is “Can you do the payment now and send me the prove of payment now”. What is that really... They don’t even tell me the answer when I ask what time will the delivery coming. After the payment, I did call again to confirm that they received the prove of payment and Manila finally said that she will try to call the delivery vendor. Well... she did not contact me until this hour and the delivery is due tomorrow. Literally one of my biggest mistake !
0n 26 November 2018 I placed an order with Kresta for curtains and blinds totalling $5,456.00. On 2 February 2019 the installer advised that the sheer curtains had incorrect hooks and took them away to be corrected. Since that date I have had numerous telephone conversations with Kestra trying to ascertain the whereabouts of my curtains. Each person I have spoken to says they will get back to me but nothing happens. I have heavy drapes and tracks lying on the floor in their packaging waiting to be installed. I think you will agree that I have been more than patient with this ridiculous situation.I can hardly believe that a company would operate this way and expect to survive! I am in the process of lodging complaints with Dept of Fair Trading and Accc. My Order No is LN033655.
Last year, I ordered three small blinds to replace some other blinds that had gone a little mildewy (but that I otherwise really liked). I was pregnant when the sales lady came around and a bit exhausted, so I basically asked her to replicate what was already there (including brackets etc). When the installer came around I was breastfeeding in a different room and so left him to it. He was nice enough and fairly quick (although left a few screws lying around on the floor, which I stood on later) and I let him leave without looking at the blinds. When I went to see them I instantly hated them as they looked like cheap plastic blinds (while my old ones were an organic cotton, matching our house, which is all timber and very nature-senstive). The brackets were too big and one of them actually sticks out from the frame and has empty screw holes. It looks terrible. They are simply not a good-looking product and not in keeping with my architect-designed house. They don't match the other blind in the room. They look like something you'd have in a demountable. Also, most importantly, they were supposed to block out light (as per my existing blinds) but they don't block any light, which is bad as my baby is sleeping in that room. She now wakes at 5am! We emailed the company to say we were not happy and they said I'd "signed off on the fabric choice"and that was that. I have thrown them in the bin and will be paying for my carpenter to put the old ones back up. I now can't really afford to spend another $650 to buy new ones. Not happy, will NEVER use Kresta again.
