Purchased a Mauviel m'cook 18cm lid from them. Picture showing a dome lid, but I received a flat lid and they claimed it's the same and Mauviel only make one kind of lid. Seeing here there is more than 20% of one star, now I know why, I should have check with trustpilot before. P.S. Kitchenknives.co.uk, please see your picture of 18cm mauviel stainless steel/copper lid and compare to your stock, if you don't see the difference, there must be something wrong with your eyes.

AVOID AVOID AVOID Kitchen Knives grab you with their well priced deals, but fail completely when it comes to fulfilling their side. They appear to be shysters as I have still not received my refund and neither have I received my complete order for something that was a 2-3 working day delivery. It has now been over 6 weeks, and continued empty promises. In December placed 3 separate orders within days of each other, one of which intended to be a gift. All said to be delivered within 2-3 working days. Total order value in excess of £500. Radio silence, and after 5 working days I enquire and am told that there is a slight delay, and that I will receive all my products within a week. Understandable these things happen. Then radio silence again for a week. When I call I am told that 2 items on a single order are no longer available, and that I will receive a refund. Delivery of my outstanding orders is imminent. No movement on any front for a week, when I call again. Now more of my items are not available, meaning 2 order need to be cancelled and refunded (of which one was the gift which has now not been able to be delivered). Promises of refunds for everything, and next day delivery for my outstanding items, some of which are in stock. I advise that my address has since changed, and provide updated delivery address. Then 2 items are sent to wrong address. I am advised that they are sorry, but i should collect from my old address. Ok, I do that. It turn out the knives are both incorrect. However, one was very similar to the one I ordered, and before relising it is incorrect, I open it. I then advise Kitchen Knives of the incorrect knife sent. Somehow it is made to be my fault that the knife I received and opened is not correct, and that I would need to pay for it. I enquire about the rest of the knives and my refund, and promised that I will have everything by end of January (well over a month from my order on a 2-3 working day delivery basis), and that my refund has been processed. Then a delivery - 3 more knives, none of them part of my set. I enquire about what is going on - where are my knives and where is my refund? As time of writing, I am waiting for my refund (promised 4 weeks back) and am waiting for 2 more items from my ordered set. No response to my continued queries. Do not deal with this outfit, they will not deliver and you will end up regretting it.

Ordered a set of knives that said 'in stock' over Christmas, turns out they were out of stock. Nice customer service team told me right away and offered me a refund. I'll be back in future!

Ordered 5 knives, quickly delivered but with an error in order. Contacted customer services and got a quick solution from Lucy, excellent service when under pressure and something goes wrong. Will fully recommend and would be happy to deal with again

Ordered and PAID 3rd January. I've been chasing up since by regular phone call. Spoke to some really lovely people, but now the phone lines are not available due to coronavirus and they're still struggling getting products shipped in due to Brexit I'm seriously considering whether this company will ever send my knives! I'm going to have to contact my credit card company I expect!

Ordered one knife from this company on January 7 and shortly after got an automated age check verification. And then I waited. By 23 January, I emailed the company to ask about my order. I was then told that the order was expected on 12 February. No-one had seen fit to contact me to explain - however, they were very quick to debit my card immediately on ordering. Terrible customer service.

Excellent customer service. Bought some Global knives in the sale, arrived well packaged and in good order. Unfortunately the clips that held the magnetic rail were damaged but I got through to a customer rep straight away and they replaced the rail without any quibble.

Slightly slow to dispatch but I think this was because they had to age-check me. I sent them an email and they were quick to respond, and the knives were delivered within 2 days of that. Otherwise fantastic knives, good prices, would reccomend!

Ordered some Global Knives as a Christmas gift. I was apprehensive as they cost a lot of money and I had not heard of this company before. I needn’t have worried. Ordering was very easy and the knives arrived two days later as promised via DPD. Very happy customer.

I ordered something. It appeared to be in stock but was not. The company kept me updated with their efforts to obtain it. When it became apparent that it would not come in time for Christmas they refunded me very quickly. Good customer service.

Nice solid block overall happy with purchase however description on website said block would hold 8 knives however once arrived box stated it would hold 6. Managed to fit 7 in so the least used knife isn't in it.

The knives both the £7.50 and £50, are superb and came with a lovely knife sharpener. The Scanpans were very competitively priced, but took a time to arrive. Kitchen Knives immediately emailed me to explain that there would be a delay. The pans were out of stock on all other websites and the UK distributor confirmed the problem was with the Danish producer. I am very happy with the way Kitchen Knives kept me informed of progress, and as for the pans, they are everything I hoped for. Would definitely recommend and use this company again.

The service was first rate, the item was ordered in the afternoon and arrived the next morning. The poultry shears look and feel of good quality but have not been used yet as they were bought as a Christmas present, hence 4 stars not 5.
