I just wanted to let you know that I have had a wonderful shopping experience with you this Christmas. After seeing a knife reviewed on Sorted Food’s YouTube channel I clicked their referral link to purchase it for my husband. Delighted to see that it was in stock AND in your winter sale, I rushed to purchase it, only then to realise I hadn’t changed the delivery address and he would be the one to sign for it whilst I was at work - doh! I sent a quick email to customer services and Lucy very quickly and kindly changed the delivery address for me — Christmas magic restored! Purchased a set of 3 Global knives and was delighted to have found exactly what we were looking for on the website, sharp useable sizes, a well known brand and quick delivery. Despite some delays due to strikes and the Xmas rush, the changes in delivery date were communicated at each stage. I received an email from Alex the owner of KitchenKnives apologizing for the delays in deliveries and explain the problems most firms are experiencing because of the various industrial actions and there knock on effects. I think reading a few bad reviews it seems a lot of them could of been avoided by quicker communications (proactive rather than reactive ) . From my own point i was pleased with the delivery timescale as they arrived 4 hours after the email.

Your website is a revelation! Best range of high quality kitchen tools at the best prices. The only place I could find a cheaper Japanese knife is by travelling to Japan and that would cost several thousand in travel! I placed an order which I was told was shipped on Monday . They now seem to have given up on Christmas deliveries. They are blaming DHL , but DHL are waiting for the parcel. Beware of their delivery promises.

Ordered 15th Dec and delivered on the 17th. Great value deal for an Xmas present. Its unfair to judge them on shipping factors outside of their control. Customer service was also quick and friendly.

I've always wanted a decent set of kitchen knives and was recommended to look at KitchenKnives.co.uk by a friend who is a chef. I'm very glad I took his advice. I got a very good deal on set at a very good price. My order arrived within a few days, despite having been told that there would probably be a delay due to the current industrial action. I'm extremely happy with the knives. I won't hesitate to use this company again or to highly recommend them to others.

Ordered a Global knife in the rush of Christmas, in an environment of strikes and DPD falling over. The knife was the cheapest I could find online, the delivery was fast and efficient and the customer service was prompt and courteous. Would heartily recommend!

I bought a carving knife and the metal darkened after first use. Lucy Williams from customer services was unhelpful, dismissive and defensive. She would not give a refund, exchange or store credit. She advised me to buy a metal cleaning cream which I did out of my own pocket, which still did not solve the issue. She said I would have to send it to the manufacturer and wouldn't take any responsibility for a product that they've sold. Easier buying from Amazon in the future as they have a no-quibbles return policy, instead of these small unregulated websites that get away with whatever they want.
