Avoid. I had a problem with a Super Benriner Mandoline, which had clearly been crushed in transit with a significant bend in the blade. I was asked to provide pictures of the box it was transported in and the Mandoline box and the Mandoline. I sent all of these over yet still they said they couldn’t see the issue. I then sent over a video of the bend in the blade and the damaged finger guard and they still said they couldn’t determine if there was damage and that I would need to send back. All this time I could have been sent a replacement or refund after sending back the damaged goods but now have to wait for Kitchen Knives to determine whether I’m lying or not. Terrible customer service. UPDATED: The reply below is an example of how bad they are at customer service. I’ve been wanting to send the item back since the day I received but have had to go through this process of proving it is damaged. I have now returned the product and the company has said they are ordering a new blade and sending back without addressing the damaged finger guard, they are ignoring my requests to receive a refund so I can buy from another company and be done with them. Don’t buy from them because if anything’s wrong they waste your time completely.

Originally didn't receive my order, no fault of the company, the carrier failed to deliver it and it was classed as missing within their network. A sales person named Ben from the company itself was amazingly helpful and sent out a replacement of my order, they were also pretty fast at chasing up the order and sorting the issue out. Can't fault the company at all.

I have ordered twice recently from Kitchen Knives and have been very impressed with the excellent quality of the products and standard of customer service. Delivery disruptions with postal service industrial action caused some delays, but this is completely beyond thier control and the communication around it was excellent. I will continue to order from Kitchen Knives without hesitation.

Bought a brilliant set of Global Knives NI and the delivery was longer than expected as I ordered in the Black Friday sale as well as there being courier and postal strikes. Emailing to ask, they were super apologetic, explained the situation and confirmed when the delivery would be. Awesome company, privately owned, huge range of products and really good prices. Can't recommend them to enough people - when there's a bump out of their control they handled it brilliantly. First rate.

Great website and amazing sale! I ordered a beautiful set of kitchen knives which arrived really quickly. The website was really transparent about the courier they were using and how strikes might impact deliveries before I placed the order (not hidden afterwards like some!). All communicated was quick and friendly - would recommend!

I don't give reviews often but thought considering an email I received following the barrage of complaints your receiving due to the current mail strike, I would take the time to say thank you. I got a Wusthof knife for my wife for her birthday (just after black Friday), to complement her other kitchen gadgets and she was over the moon. I'm sure its genuine (same quality as my mothers). Can't believe we paid the price we did. I hope you're not too badly effected by these current strikes and once customers receive their items, they will be over the moon I'm sure!

Prompt dispatch information and prompt delivery despite well know documented postal strikes and delivery drivers huge work load.

I was buying Global knives and discovered KitchenKnives to be cheaper than John Lewis. I'd already bought them from JL in fact, but JL were out of stock of a short magnetic wall rack, so was looking online and found KK had one. That's when I discovered that KK was cheaper for Global knives, and had the full range (unlike JL who had only a limited range, I now realised) so I was able to buy slightly shorter knives more to our preference, saving us further money. To my delight I also got a free pair of quality scissors thrown in! Excellent deal. The package arrived in the post same week I ordered them, despite the strikes. I guess I was lucky but they must have got them out pretty well immediately. I've returned the JL knives and told them why. Thanks KitchenKnives.
