I spent £1000 on a Kettler treadmill. Sadly, further to a loud bang and flash, the treadmill stopped working. Called Kettler aftersales....wow, absolutely shocking. Told to buy a new Motor Controller Unit (£100)...which was sent to me in a Jiffy bag...always the best way to send fragile electronic components! Decided that, in case the shipping had damaged the part, I would book a Kettler engineer (Another £120). They phoned me this morning to say that they just fix the fault based upon Kettlers instruction. When I asked if they could diagnose the fault, they said they might be able to. They would then order the part and charge another (£120 to fit the part). Initially however they would fit the new Motor Controller Unit to see if that fixed the problem (I'm not an expert but what if another faulty component had caused the MCU to break...I guess I would have to use the treadmill safe in the knowledge that it could blow up at any moment and then I would need to go through the process again). This is a signature example of how to show a customer that you couldn't care less about them once you have their money. Judging by the other Trustpilot reviews, they don't have any satisfied customers
spending £2000 on the kettler palma sofa set and table we were upset to find the wood effect table top had been damaged by a clumsy window installer. We contacted Kettler in August to order a full set of replacement slats to be paid for by the window fitter. Well we are still waiting for them to materialise. We had an initial estimate on the costs which was fine but then nothing since. They were expecting stock at the end of August, still nothing, September came and went with still no sign, maybe October will be the same. We might have our new top by next summer??
I have a swing bench, and a small table/seat both are rusting very badly, considering they are Kettler and about 4 years old, I expected better. I have tried to contact Kettler on 3 occasions, and nobody replies, I would advise that people look very carefully before they buy Kettler furniture.
We bought new garden furniture from Kettler (c£800) in the summer and within one month the rope binding started to fray. Kettler approved a warranty claim at the start of September and you guessed it we have heard nothing back. I have written and tried to contact by phone but no response. Reading the other replies I am concerned it will ever get resolved. What a shame such a good brand has such awful customer care.
Bought two steamer chairs in late August. Left on my sheltered patio and just went to put them away for the Winter to discover splitting wood but worse all of the metal screws and fixings are rusting. Really? Over £400 spent and they chose to use cheap metal that literally rusts after a few showers. They look terrible. Appalling quality. Lesson learnt. Never will buy from them again. Having read the reviews of their customer service I'm debating whether I should waste my time trying to get them replaced.
Shocking quality, awful after sales and their guarantee is worthless. I’m amazed that John Lewis sell their products. Spent £5k on garden furniture. The paint finish on the concrete table started flaking off in less than 12 months. Commenced warranty claim in April and despite Kettler accepting my claim and offering to change the items in May I can’t get them to respond let alone supply the replacement goods some 4 months later.
Bought a wind up 3m parasol that broke 2 weeks out of 12 month guarantee - small cheap shoddy part broke (button) which means cant be safely used. Spent £140 on a parasol that is useless now ! Appalling aftersales service -they say dont manufacturer the part anymore despite still selling the parasol online and supplying to retailers. Kettler not interested and offered no replacement parasol - appalling service My son is going to try 3D print the part broken as the parasol is useless and cant be used safely without. Will never buy a Kettler product again !
Bought a new parasol for £500 a gust of wind blew and broken 2 ribs. Found out you can not buy replacement parts and for a £500 parasol it's a joke. Absolutely rip off and terrible quality made from cheap materials.
Poorly manufactured parasol, cast aluminium button that snapped just out of warranty. Company refused to deal with my enquiry after not replying to my email for three weeks!! Stating that the part is no longer in manufacture? Yet is still for sale at other retailers? In the end I got a replacement part 3D printed at a company called SGD (sgd3d.co.uk) who had the file on hand as the owner had one go on him as well!!
We bought a Sienna table, four chairs, cushions and parasol in 2016. The table and chairs rusted after 18 months and was quickly replaced....but now we are awaiting our 4TH set as they have all rusted the last one after 6 months! Think it will be a refund if this one rusts. Good customer service but a rubbish product.
Kettler would do well to remember "a good reputation is hard-won and easily lost" Unfortunately the Kettler name no longer means anything. I have had similar problems to other reviewers. We had a parasol which was rarely used and well looked after. The very low quality tilt button broke after 2 years. We had probably used the parasol 4 or 5 times. I have run out of energy trying to get the problem resolved. A decent company would replace the item - we didn't do anything wrong. It's a manufacturing fault caused by using cheap inappropriate materials for the job it's meant to do. The after care again I'm afraid is very poor. Numerous emails and calls were ignored leaving me to constantly chase up. It almost appears deliberate. Well done everyone at Kettler - I have given up. You should not treat the very people who have supported your business for years so poorly.
I purchased a Kettler Kalos firepit and it arrived promptly but only 1 bag of coals supplied which did not even fill the fire pit a quarter of the way. Emailed on numerous occasions to customer services who eventually agreed a system error and supplied 1 more bag when I informed them that it would require a minimum of 2 more. Now only halfway full looks sad and no replies from customer services yet all images advertised show the fire pit full to top. Poor experience with customer service dept even though happy with product and its functionality.
I bought a siena bench at Chelsea f s in 1998. The following year a rectangular table, 4 single chairs, another bench and two side tables. This week I bought 2 more chairs. Apart from a slightly different pattern on the flower decoration they blend in perfectly with the 21+ year ones. The furniture is left out all year without covers and still has not faded or worn in any way. Brilliant buy.
I have bought a kettler parasol and it has a missing part, Iv contacted you on sales@kettler and you requested photos of the missing part which I sent - now its all gone quiet. I cannot believe the aftercare you people do.Its disgusting and you think you all get away with it.Talk about being ignorant. Some aftercare.How sound is the warranty then if you cant resolve this issue after 1 week!!!!!
Obsessed with our new Kettler Palma Corner Outdoor Sofa Set with Fire Pit Table - every time it is sunny, or even just warm and cloudy, I get so excited about relaxing outside on the settee and enjoying the fresh air. The firepit is a fantastic accompaniment to some drinks at the end of a long day!
Furniture is good quality but the infintree tops are useless. They melt when glasses refract light onto the top. Unless you plan to use mugs or use in cloudy weather they are a waste of money. Kettler not interested and tell you to use a coaster which is not the problem. Avoid
We have had our furniture for a few years and at the weekend noticed a bracket on the sun lounger had snapped, a quick email to Kettler, replies within 48hrs, sent in a photo and new screws posted! They arrived 2 days later.... Great faultless service!!! Thanks Vicky!!
Really disappointed with Kettler. I had their parasol fall on the their table. People could have been hurt. Luckily we were all standing at the BBQ area. Sent Kettler pictures, also where the joint failed. They said, I didnt have my original receipt so they were not interested and quite rude.

We ordered a table via John Lewis. paid for it in full. We were told it was in stock. Kettler were to arrange delivery and they called to book a date. Having stayed in all day the delivery never materialised. Having called them they apologised and arranged another time. Waited in. Still no sign of it. They then said “ the table had gone missing”. Could I order another one? No . They had to find “that table”. After complaining to John Lewis they did say they would send another one. No sign of it. Appparently now the van was broken. So after two more failed attempts, I cancelled the order at JL and asked for a refund. What a farce!
