I have to say the customer services department was totally amazing, I dealt with a lady called Kat Woods who was so helpful it was just wonderful, could not have been anymore helpful. Made this such an easy experience.
I have now been waiting for over a year for a replacement cushion that was damaged on delivery. I have emailed and contacted customer services. I was originally told the replacement would come once they had delivery that was delayed due to Suez canal episode. Then I was told it would be at the beginning of this year. It is now June and I am not receiving any response from the company at all!
I invested in a John Lewis ‘Henley’ range Kettler table and six chairs eight years ago. I store them in the garage through the winter and only have them are outside during the summer months. They have gone rusty throughout the metal mesh. They cost £1000 in total and are supposed to be weatherproof. I invested in Kettler so they would last, I thought. The warranty for rust is for 5 years, so now they are not covered! Very disappointed and feel miss-sold. I see some comments that if you live near the coast it causes the rust…. If this is true, Kettler should make this clear in the product information and I would have bought a different product. If anyone has a solution to the rust issue it would be much appreciated. 17.7.22 Since receiving help from Kettler customer service team, I wanted to update my review. Although I was disappointed my furniture rusted after only 8 years, the way the team at Kettler has handled my issue has been excellent. I believe there seems to be a common occurrence of metal furniture by the sea rusting, so although Kettler have not said this, I would suggest buyers are cautious from my and others experience, however rating my experience of the customer service team at Kettler, I have amended my 1 star to 5 stars, as they have been great. Bought my second RHS steamer approximately 18 months after buying my first one. The original quality was excellent and the chair has lasted well. Kettler has replaced the high quality metalwork with cheap replacements but I notice the price hasn’t dropped!! (£359 RRP). Don’t waste your money thinking you are paying for quality, you will buy similar elsewhere for half the price! SHAME ON YOU KETTLER - for abusing the value of your brand and your customers loyalty. Thank you for your reply, but better your potential customers see my response, hence answering on this forum. In response to your answer which I will copy at the bottom, the change in supplier was not based on quality, more likely cost saving. My original steamer was also eucalyptus wood, so nice try but fabrication. Happy to give detailed explanations with more photos if you still try to claim new steamer is better quality! Purchased a Palmer low lounge set through John Lewis, on delivery and unpacking found one of the seat cushions was damaged. Informed John Lewis customer service who contacted Kettler on my behalf. Kettler got straight back to me and asked me to provide photos of the damaged cushion,on receipt of these Kettler immediately agreed to replace the cushion.Alicia I spoke to and emailed at Kettler could not have been more helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Overall the quality of the product is of a high standard and seems that the guarantee Kettler give their products stands up.🙂
We have a 6 seat garden set that is less than 5 years old, and the paint is flaking off due to rust, in fact on one chair the complete back af the chair the paint has flaked off and is now rust colour, all the other chairs are showing signs of rust and can only expect the paint to start flaking off those too, not what I expect from a set that cost over £1000, its not like the set has been abused as its been looked after very well. We only noticed this problem as we were cleaning the garden set after the winter in preperation for the good weather.
I bought and Kettler Cassis balcony set along with the matching parasol. The set is high quality and very stylish and elegant for my patio garden. The items arrived in strong packaging and very quickly. Really looking forward to enjoying my new furniture and making the most of my garden in summer. Thank you Kettler.
Rang trying to find an engineer to fix my 2017 Kettler Golf P exercise bike, the customer service was great saved me money by fault finding over the phone rather than an engineer coming out as the part needed is obsolete now. Was grateful for the time spent on the phone explaining things great customer service. Thank you.
The best customer services bar none. My garden set arrived and one of the chairs was damaged during delivery. Customer services put it right immediately and arranged for a replacement to be delivered right away. Their products are top quality just be careful not to scratch them as they do rust right away given they are outdoors (I’m sure this is obvious and probably goes without saying). Five stars ⭐️
I contacted Kettler on 26th April 2022 to advise them that a Henley garden table which I purchased in 2019 was showing signs of rust. After a couple of emails, photos and proof of purchase, the NEXT DAY they agreed to replace the table with a new one one which will be arriving on 5th May 2022. Alicia Parker-Ennis who handled my case was excellent - prompt replies to emails and very helpful. If only all companies provided the Kettler level of customer service
We had a problem with one of the cushions on the Palma Mini Corner Outdoor furniture which we purchased last year. Within two days of sending photos and an e mail it was sorted. A new cushion was ordered and we received it today. We have not received service so efficient in a long time and we would highly recommend the after sales care.
Having put our connecting clips for the garden furniture in a safe place (!! Obviously couldn’t then find them again), I ordered 2 more on 24th March. Not arrived a week later, so Kettler sent out another set. Wondered if they had actually been sent, and then both sets arrived today, one postmarked 24/03. Presumably lost in post for 2 weeks. Called Kettler and told them we had 2 sets, only paid for one, and lady on phone sounded genuinely pleased that they had eventually arrived. Cannot fault Kettler for service, and for having customer service agents who seem really to care about their clients.
This is a long term review for the Kettler palma mini corner sofa cover, I purchased the cover 4 years ago and have just disposed of it as UV and winter weather have rotted the fabric, the securing straps snapped after the first winter, and overall it’s a bit disappointing, I would pay more if it was made of a stronger material similar to a boat cover.
*******See Update at The bottom of this review. So I bought a full set of Sienna garden furniture back in 2014. After 12 months they had started to rust. I complained to Kettler and they promptly replaced the furniture. So far so good. After another 18 months we had the same problem. I complained again and suggested to Kettler that they supplied an alternative, as this furniture is clearly not fit for our purpose. We live close to the sea and can only assume that the salty air is more than the furniture can stand. Kettler insisted that the manufacturing process had changed and the replacements would be suitable. Long story short we are on our 4th lot of furniture which is now rusty and useless. Kettler tell us there is nothing they can do as the guarantee has expired. We spent £900 on the original invoice. Not money well spent !! Update.... Since posting this review I have been contacted by Kettler. The have offered to replace all my furniture with alternative items at the current cost of replacement. We have come to a very acceptable solution and they have been very helpful.
Having bought some Kettler Henley garden chairs a few years ago I contacted the retail Company that sold me the furniture as I had an issue with one of the chairs rusting. They in turn got in touch with Kettler, who are replacing the problem chair after viewing my photographs. The lovely lady from Kettler, Kat Woods, telephoned me this morning to say they are replacing the chair. This is excellent Customer Service and Kat was professional, courteous and very cheerful. I cannot praise Kettler enough for the way the have handled my complaint so promptly.
Purchased Elba Aluminium Medium Storage Box in July 2020. Looks nice*, pretty solid and, importantly, keeps the contents dry (ie the waterproof liner works). *But over the last winter a discolouration appeared on the top surface (about 15cmx18cm) which is not covered by the 3 year warranty. Their justification is user misuse, due to the minor scuffs elsewhere which I pit my hands up to and due to normal wear and tear in a family with small children, dogs etc. Unrelated to the mark I invited them to look at. So, in summary, the aluminium powder coating they use is not as resilient or as tough as you would, and should, expect.
I was contacted promptly by the company after posting this review and they are keen to resolve the matter. I hope that we will come to some understanding and that the dissatisfaction I felt about the previous correspondence I have had with their customer service team will change to a more positive outcome. I will review again when the matter is resolved. I concur with the other reviews regarding the mesh furniture. Kettler replaced my original set which rusted really badly due to terrible rust and after just one year it has started going rusty again. I have now been told it is because I live near the coast! If that is the case then it should be stated on their products. Also, the new set is not covered by the warranty. So even though it is not fit for purpose I am left with having to replace it. Very, very poor and I will certainly never purchase from them again. My next door neighbour and friends around the corner also have Kettler mesh furniture with the same problem. I don’t suppose all the reviews on here mentioning rust live by the coast though.
Really please with Kettler Customer services' response to my request today. We have two of its sun loungers, dating back to 2006. Feet caps were lost in our recent house move, so I asked earlier today whether they might have some (I didn't hold out much hope). Kettler requested photos so the company knew what to look for and an immediate search of the warehouse revealed replacements for my two missing feet. They are used, but apparently in good condition and they are on their way to me, free of charge. This comes on top of a Panalsol that was replaced in 2020 and a side table that was replaced in 2021, both warranty claims, no fuss with either. Kettler's excellent customer service continues to impress!
Our panalsol was damaged by the recent windstorm. I enquired about replacement parts from Kettler and was answered quickly and provided with a manual to help me identify the parts. Having ordered them they arrived very quickly. Fantastic service. I could only hope other firms were half as good!
I recently got in touch with kettler as after having my garden furniture for 4 years it was showing signs of rust. A very easy quick process and I have new replacement furniture delivered to my door. Thank you Kettler.
