We have lots of their metal garden furniture (chairs and tables) and leave them our uncovered 24/7/365 and it always looks brand new!
Our new Palma Slat Dining table had 2 melted areas within an hour of first use. A glass on the table in the sunshine caused the top to melt and it's taken 3 months to get the replacement slats. We are very happy with the set as a whole and have a gazebo now, so the issue will not happen again. I do think kettler should include a warning in the instructions though. I would expect to be able to use a glass on an outside table without any damage caused. Kettler thanks for your reply. We certainly do not recall seeing anything about the issue. It would also be useful if the supplier could tell customers about this when ordering. We would have gone for the glass top version if we'd known.

Superb after-sales service - over twenty years since buying a much-loved garden table, I have been supplied with a replacement leg for it, which was easy to attach thanks to the simple but clever design. Remarkably helpful, friendly help on phone and email. Couldn't be happier.
Absolute rubbish six year old garden furniture all rusted kettler didn’t want to know as I didn’t have old receipts but it’s obviously theirs and there’s an obvious fault all six chairs rusted Just had contact from kettles telling me to contact their team but I have tried twice and failed - just giving advice on rust removal and painting- making good their rubbish product
We bought Kettler Caredo steel chairs about 7 years ago. From about 4 years in, these chairs have rusted beyond belief. I know that there is a 5 year guarantee, but I have been fighting the corrosion for such a long time, no supposedly external furniture should corrode like this. It corrodes underneath the coating, so by the time that you see...it's too late. So the point of this review, don't buy quite expensive Kettler steel garden furniture if you don't want rust stains on peoples' clothes and rust stains on the patio stones. Poor quality, poor technology, poor materials. Avoid especially those products that have mesh because as you can imagine, it's impossible to treat the corrosion on the mesh. Avoid, avoid, void
Kettler offered me a exceptional service when they sourced a replacement set of legs for my table. It did drag on abit with emails and responses but bear with it as they certainly do get there in the end with great customer services and they certainly made this customers day a better one once my table legs turned up. 5* many thanks
Bought a Kettler Panasol Louvre which had one small bolt missing. We phoned up to ask for one to be sent in the post and 12 weeks later still no sign of it! Very disappointed as we have always purchased Kettler products and found them excellent.
I had to make a warranty claim on my Kettler product. Throughout all stages of the process all the customer service staff provided excellent service and resolution was prompt and hassle free. I had provided photographs of the problems and the customer service staff recognized the problem and could not have been more helpful in finalizing a replacement product. I was kept informed throughout the process. Thank you Kettler.
Poor Quality! Purchased Parasol May 2020 and two weeks ago the tilt button snapped. Clip is not made of metal but cracked due to the stress. Contacted Kettler for spare parts and no help was offered. Parasol cost £130. Go elsewhere!
Had my Kettler Casual dining set for about 18 months now. I paid £thousands for it. I am on the second set of covers, they are supposed to be charcoal gray but get sun bleached in about 4 months turning a nasty mauve colour. I was told it was a colour pigment issue with the first set but these are the same. Second issue the retractable feet are not robust enough and they don’t extend enough. The plastic foot keeps coming off. Several repairs later….. This isn’t the quality I expected when originally buying them.
Not purchased yet but had a refreshingly good chat with Emily Sharpe who answered all of my questions and took the time to help. Very nice to see
I purchased a free standing parasol from Dawson Stores which arrived damaged and the wrong night cover was provided. The matter was referred to Kettler who accepted the claim under warranty and a replacement was provided and the original was collected at the same time. They informed Dawsons that a replacement was being provided under Warranty. Excellent service provided by Kettler Customer Service. Thank you.
We bought a kettler extending table which was replaced directly by kettler as it had scratches on it. Less than a year later it has rusted in numerous places, even though kettler claim that their products have an anti-rust guarantee. Despite the fact that kettler delivered this table directly to my house and have records of this, they refuse to replace the rusty bits of the table and no longer reply to emails. I am quite frankly appalled at both the customer service and the quality of their products. All I wanted was a replacement for the damaged parts but they refuse even to do this.
I ordered a small pot of paint to touch up rust on my metal garden furniture on 15th June. The website quoted 7 day delivery. After 9 days I contacted the company and was told they were out of stock but expected it 28th June. I have had to contact them twice since, it is now 7th July, not yet received. After demanding a refund I have now been told it is on it's way. I could never recommend this company if they cannot handle an order for a tiny pot of paint, how can they cope with a larger order? I wouldn't have minded so much if they contacted me about delays, but instead I had to do all the chasing.
People usually only review when they have something to moan about, so i wanted to tell my very positive story! Kate Beverley, my customer service agent, went above and beyond the call of duty for a very minor problem, which wasn't even their fault. One of the footcaps had fallen off the table and she was more than happy to source another for me and send it in the post FOC. With regards to their products - i bought the Charlbury mini corner set last year from a retailer. It has been exceptional quality, we bought the corner cover also and i suppose it's more down to how you look after your purchase. If it's left out in the elements it will deteriorate.
Ordered a table and chair set for nearly £2k, the table arrived damaged, they said they couldn’t replace for several months. After a couple of weeks cracks appeared in the chairs. They eventually delivered a new table and chairs - worse than the first set. Table badly drilled and built, tenon joints sticking out, splinters of wood - you would pay £50 for it from a diy store. Awaiting to hear what they propose to do with it, but I won’t ever by buying from Kettler again, and I cannot believe the RHS lend their name to this…
I bought the la mode and have since had to return 2 tables. Apparently I’m awaiting a new design table but these new tables don’t come with their own warranty which is a worry in itself. The l mode chairs haven’t faired much better. Purchased in 2016 they began to snap some of the weave during the summer of 2020 in addition to which the paint effect on the arms has been rubbed off by where it meets the table. Customer service has been patch and despite speaking to the head of customer service I got ghosted because I wanted to know what kind of return they have had on the new table, which I think is reasonable considering their track record. In summary I will have dining chairs with missing paint finish that are only 5 years old and a brand new, new design la mode table all of which will have no warranty, what could possibly go wrong???
I ordered a pergoda from a 3rd party supplier (Garden4less who are useless) which arrived damaged. I contacted Kettler (Kate Beverley, Customer Service Agent) who was excellent and arranged a replacement once stock was in. Kate also arranged collection and installation with Neil Wilkes who made contact with me as promised and arranged a convenient day for delivery/collection/erection. The 2 guys who came to do this were fantastic; polite, tidy and completed the job in good time and professionally. I wouldn’t use Garden4less again as the retailer but would use Kettler again.
Ordered a BBQ from Kettler and ten days later receive an email from the courier to advise they won't be delivering on the advised date, but instead will pass onto another courier company to deliver. total time 2 weeks since ordering , Unbelievable !!! Kettler use an 0845 number which cost you extra money and you hold for ages.
