I purchased a Kettler (Everdure Hub II) BBQ from John Lewis in April for £1,899. Unfortunately when I assembled it 4 weeks ago one of the columns for the rotisserie would not go down so I immediately notified John Lewis who advised me I would receive a call from Kettler. Kettler called me the next day to say parts had been sent to an engineer and I would receive a call from him to confirm when he could visit. 4 weeks later I am still waiting for a call from an engineer after repeated calls and repeated promises but to no avail. To make matters worse John Lewis seem to have no influence over Kettler as their calls regarding the issue are also being ignored. I have also requested Kettler for a replacement only to be advised they are out of stock.
After using our garden furniture for only the second time the table has started melting in difference spots due to the sun reflecting through glassware. I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s not acceptable to provide an outdoor table that you cannot use glassware on. Coasters were in use but any sun reflection is causing instant melting on the surface. Unfortunately after raising this directly with kettler there response was this ‘ I am sorry to learn of the issue that you have experienced with your Polywood Table Top, and I would like to advise how this will have happened. The marks that can be seen are in fact scorch marks from when glassware has been used on the table without the use of a coaster. Some glassware causes a prism on the table top and these spots of magnified sunlight can and will melt the polywood slats. Upon delivery of our Polywood tables, there is a large yellow sticker advising of care instructions for the table, and It states to always use coasters on the table for this very reason. As this is accidental damage and is not covered under your warranty, we would not be able to supply a replacement to you free of charge so I am sorry for any disappointment that this may have caused. We can however retail you replacement polywood slats should you wish to have these replaced. They retail for £18.00 each’ I would like to highlight coasters were used as per the images sent and It made no difference to the scorch marks.
Great service - when we received a faulty table it was promptly replaced by Kettler. Love the quality - the sun is shining again and we are loving our garden furniture :)
So pleased with my Kettler furniture - it’s the best furniture I’ve ever had. So comfortable- I don’t know how many times I’ve fallen asleep on my corner unit! I have the purpose made covers, so they are kept clean and dry throughout the winter. I’ve had it a couple of years and it still looks like new.
Bought corner sofa with Kalos fire pit in rattan colour. photos appear to show distinct difference in colour between the sofa and cushions. in reality though both are identical dark grey. colour of the product does not match the photos so now stuck with a full set costing plus £2k in a colour I never wanted. will not be buying Kettler again

Purchased a 3.5 metre parasol with led light and bluetooth speaker.Only used a couple of times last summer and went to recharge unit over Easter and would not charge.Contacted Kettler and replacement unit delivered within a week.Brilliant after sales service.
This is an outdoor table that you cant use in any sunlight. Kettler says its scorch marks when clearly its holes in the table top! In 50 plus years of buying outdoor furniture this is the first one ive had that melts in the sun. Kettler are telling me off for using a wine glass as a magnifying glass, not something i normally do but the assume i do! Should have looked at Trustpilot before using this company as their reviews are not great.
We have had the Palma table and corner settee for a couple of years, can't fault the settee but having problems with the table slats. After a couple of weeks use the slats developed a bubbling effect on them, we had no idea what caused them, contacted John Lewis who kindly arranged to have the slats replaced, recently the same problem has occurred and we realised it was caused by a glass when the weather was hot and sunny. the slats also do get grease like marks on the top. I would have expected an outdoor table to fair a bit better when used outdoors !. This has not deterred us from buying Kettler products as we purchased a couple of chairs last year and are very happy with them.
We bought a Palma set in May 2020 and have been very pleased with it. Restrictions due to Covid means it has had plenty of use! We keep it covered when not in use and it is dry stored during the winter. Thus far it is wearing well. Contact with customer service via e mail has been answered promptly - one of the stool cushion covers was missing an elasticated loop but this was replaced quickly under warranty. One word of caution - the table top has a plastic wood effect finish and one has to be careful as the suns rays can be magnified as they pass through wine glasses causing the plastic to melt! Generous use of table mats is important as per the owners instructions.

Good in nearly every respect but do not think it won’t rust, it does. We put ours away every winter but 2 out of 4 chairs were replaced under warranty ( no hassle ) because of rust and they are all rusting now plus the table. What’s more you can’t get original paint other than for touch ups. Perhaps they don’t want to admit you will need it!
I have had two sets of Kettler mesh chairs over the past 8 years. The first set were replaced under warranty due to excessive rust and the problem has now reoccurred on the replacements. There is clearly a manufacturing problem at this company with a failure rate of 50% over 4 years due to rust. There is unfortunately little or no interest shown by the company in the problem. Avoid.
We bought a Kettler Palmer sofa this year 2020. The joining piece broke after one summer. I ordered a new part at a cost of £8.00. I had to speak to someone due to our post code and delivery issues to the Isle of Wight although most other suppliers deliver with no issues. Cost of call £15.00 as charged while waiting for someone to answer
