ROBBING B*STARDS!!!!!! Sent me a broken microwave and NEVER gave me a refund even after I returned it to them... and just ignore my requests now and have still got my £70 AVOID THIS PLACE

Wish I had looked at these reviews before ordering.... Brought a microwave which started making stranged noises I emailed and noone response but the time I spoke to anyone I was to late to get free delivery and have to pay to send the faulty item back!

Order placed on 28/09, received confirmation and Paypal receipt immediately. Money was taken from my account on 30/09 but when I checked order status it said 'on hold'. Status remained the same all week. Mail received on 07/10 "Unfortunately, we cannot fulfil your order at this time as the item is not in stock due to a technical error on our site." Waste of time. Though from most of the reviews about faulty goods maybe I dodged a bullet. The only redeeming feature was that the refund was processed the same day as they advised it wasn't in stock.

Ordered a refurbished air fryer, initially impressed. It arrived quickly, was as described except accessories were missing. After contacting them, a parcel arrived 2 days later, great, except they were wrong size & items. So, they sent another parcel 2 days later, still wrong. So I emailed & requested labels to return it all. Eventually 2 days later I had to ring as I'm sure emails are just ignored. I returned everything on 22/09 & they received it 23/09. I emailed twice to confirm refund had been sent, finally on the 30/09 only after threating them with my bank, I received an email stating this had been done. They lied. After no sign of the money, I emailed yet again & was finally sent a proper credit note dated 06/10 & finally received my money 07/10 - a full month after first placing my order.

Ordered a retro microwave….. arrived within a couple days….. superb service and certainly the cheapest available…. Many thanks…

Received a refund from PayPal this morning, Friday, but no explanation as to why etc. Waste of time. Though from most of the reviews about faulty goods maybe I had a lucky escape.

Abysmal service. Highly suspect company. Faulty goods returned for repair, first told me they were sending a replacement, then said it was out of stock, then said they were sending an alternative- then they said they hadn't received my return. Then ignored all contact made. It seems, judging from the numerous bad reviews, this is a bunch of opportunistic cowboys who need reporting to Trading Standards.

First time I’ve bought with this so called company and NEVER AGAIN!!!!! purchased tea,coffee, sugar canisters which had substantial defects which should never have been sold, I understood there could be defects but I threw better ones in the bin, they declined to pay for the return which has cost me £7, would have been cheaper buying from a reputable company.

Wish I had read these reviews before wasting over £30! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Substandard goods which you have to pay to return then broke replacement then ignored. This company has a 'no refund' policy, so they keep your money and you end up with nothing

Likewise - buyer beware! This dishonest outfit do not honour the full 1 year guarantee for items they advertise & sell as brand new. Even though their invoice states the Russell Hobbs kettle I bought is “BRAND NEW” & even though they themselves admit it is brand new - this firm still insist they will only give a 6 month guarantee. I read their T&Cs carefully at time of purchase: neither then nor now do they state that they do not provide a full guarantee for new items. The only reason I bought from them was availability - not price. Luckily this kettle is low-value so not worth my trouble to dispute. But some brands can be very expensive, esp sets, so strongly suggest you buy elsewhere.

Nothing but con men, Ordered a cutting board set which arrived faulty emailed the company the day it arrived and even send photos, no response left it a week and then called them on the phone, 3 phone calls later with a final promise of a pre paid label to return the faulty item I am still waiting, will NEVER use these con men again

Bought a kettle and window vacuum cleaner in early January. No way to change my billing address on the website so ensured my delivery address was correct. Checked to see that it was correct. Was reassured it was. Received delivery tracking to find it was being delivered to the billing address. I emailed stating this and was told they would intercede with parcel force. Lo and behold the person at the billing address used the delivery card and collected the package. Got in touch again and got no response. Started a claim with PayPal, attaching all the emails and receipts and they are still arguing that it was delivered to my address. Going to escalate the claim now. Totally unprofessional company with no accountability. Avoid at all costs. Update PayPal reviewed the whole situation and refunded me, thankfully.

Ordered a red Swan Toaster and Kettle set. Arrived promptly, in slightly tatty boxes, but they are both in good working order. Amazing price, abs bargain. Really pleased. Thank you.

My wife ordered a compact Air fryer/oven for me, for Christmas. I finally opened on 27th Dec. First issue.. Missing parts and instruction book. Secondly, has been used as they didn't even attempt to clean it. I have sent 2 emails with no acknowledgement. After reading reviews on here and Internet I am not expecting a reply. The positive reviews on here are either by luck or staged! I will not be chasing them again, am going straight to trading standards. Charlatans like these people cannot be allowed to trade like this... I will update on progress. But, anyone reading this, STAY AWAY FROM THIS AWFUL Company, you will regret it! Happy New Year!

AVOID THIS COMPANY I only gave 1 star to be able to leave a comment, if there was an option of leaving a zero rating I would have! I bought a camcorder for my daughter as a Christmas present. It arrived in battered packaging but I thought I'd try to give it the benefit of doubt. But my expectations became real on Christmas day when we realised the item does not work! The screen is broken! I emailed the Kettle and Toaster Man today to ask what resolution could be offered to receive an immediate response 'you have been blocked 🚫' How very charming! What an utterly disgusting con man you are! Shame on you!

Returned faulty goods and received endless excuses as to why they hadn't sent a replacement or a refund. This went on for a couple of months, even lying at the end by saying they hadn't received the returned goods. Disgusting company who appear to have ripped off a good many people judging from the countless reviews online. AVOID

Hi great family run company we have brought a lot of item's over several years and never had a problem with them, so don't know where you lot of bad reviews are shopping as you talking rubbish.

I found a microwave kettle and toaster in the shop saved over £80 from normal suppliers ,had an issue with the kettle after 9 weeks i went into the shop and it was changed immediately, Great customer service and will defiantly recommend to friends. I don't normally leave reviews and stumbled onto here looking for something else it appears people use this site as a blackmail tactic against company's with how many things they sell why would they still be in business if these comments are true. People should also put messages up for good stuff as well
