Hozelock guarantee with shop gsd expired. After sending photos of damage and receipt Hozelock sent a brand new replacement. Thank you for the aftercare service received.

I had purchased an auto reel (40m) about 4.5 years ago. Sadly the coil snapped recently. I made a claim under the Hozelock guarantee. The customer service from Hozelock was exceptional. I provided details of the purchase, details of the fault and Hozelock promptly arranged for a replacement to be sent to me. If only other companies had such a positive, customer orientated, customer service department! Well done Hozelock.

I purchased a 2-1 hozelock reel from Amazon but when it arrived there were parts missing and I was told to contact the company direct. Which I did and in due course I had a reply from Tim, who emailed me back, asked me to send in a photo of what’s missing from the reel and proof of purchase and then not only did he send me the missing part but a few other spares aswell, excellent service, thank you very much

I recently had a problem with a garden spray gun. I contacted Hozelock and although the warranty had just run out they were very helpful and resolved my problem. Very pleased and great customer service. Thank you Hozelock!

I purchased the Hozelock retractable 20m hose reel back in 2020. Recently the recoil spring broke and I assumed it was out of warranty. I contacted Hozelock CS to ask if they have spare springs, but Ebony in CS stated that the reel had a 5 year warranty and would be prepared to replace it if I sent certain photos. Firstly this is super honest and further a full replacement with no quibbles. Very impressed with the warranty and service provided and thanks to Ebony for all the assistance.

A rather expensive hose from what looked like a reliable supplier. Hozelock’s promise: “anti-kink, anti-UV, anti-twist”. After only 2 years, the hose is not flexible anymore so definitely not anti UV. It is twisted from almost the beginning until the end. It kinks at every possible opportunity. To make matters worse the outer layer is full of cracks and tears. No worries I thought: 30 years of guarantee. So I contacted the local agent in Spain: no response. Sent 3 reminders: no response. I contacted Hozelock in the UK: “We won’t do anything for you, you should contact Spain”. I asked to make a complaint because this kind of service is appalling. No reaction. So I wrote an old fashioned letter, registered, to the factory. Hozelock received the letter on August 5, and, surprise!, no reaction. So, all in all a lousy product, ridiculously expensive for this quality and nonexistent customer support. And the guarantee turns out to be a marketing slogan but is in reality nonexistent as well. My advice: spend a few euros more and buy Gardena! Update 28/08/24: Hozelock UK asked me after placing my initial review to contact them. I did (resulting in ticket158029) and until now..... no response from Hozelock whatsoever. Update 29/08/24: Hozelock responds by 'we are looking to liase with Spain and will contact you in due course. This answer is the worst possible answer a support organization could give. Update 12/09/24: Suggested a solution to Hozelock (Ross) as they are not willing and able to replace the hose by a new one, to refund me through Amazon. The client is now in the driver's seat: an alarm signal for any support organization.... Ross is on holiday, not that this matters anyway.... Refers to his colleague Chloe. I forwarded my mail to Chloe. She responded within an hour (!!) with the solution (!!!): Hozelock will replace the faulty hose. So as always women solve things. Kudos to Chloe! Update 17/09/24: Chloe just confirmed Hozelock have sent a new hose today. After almost 5 months the issue has been solved in a matter of hours. Thank you, Chloe!

Bought a sprayer that had been opened (the last one) but looked like all complete. In the event a couple of parts missing but the Helpdesk sent no problem. Very impressed.

I used the chat facility to get help on fitting 13mm tubing onto joints in my automatic watering system, and received lots of great tips. Many good ideas, which could be a good idea for a video on the Hozelock website.

I registered for the 5 year warranty on my 40m Auto Reel hose.After nearly 3 years of trouble free usage the mechanism started making a loud clicking noise and wouldnt wind in very far before jamming.I contacted Hozelock customer service Ebony asked me to explain the problem and send some pictures and video of the Auto Reel.Ebony got back to me straight away and unlike many companies nowdays they honoured the warranty no questions asked and they are now sending me a new Hose reel.You only find out how good a company is when you have a problem .I will be buying Hozelock products in the future safe in the knowledge their UK based customer service is first class.👍

My Hozelock AC Plus 2700 had stopped working after a couple of years. I spoke to Ebony and Chloe in customer services who kindly organised for a replacement to be sent to me. I am so shocked and overjoyed that I almost dropped my caviar. I have never known such outstanding customer service. I tip my hat to Hozelock and will continue to ram my garden with their products.

I purchased a Hozelock expandable hose last year from a third party retailer on Amazon. Made the purchase as I already had the same product and it was ideal for my watering needs. Unfortunately my newer hose developed a serious split. Contacted Hozelock via their website, I was asked to provide proof of purchase and a photo of the failed product. This was done and I very quickly received confirmation that they would replace the product. My request was dealt with by Jill and Ebony, very efficiently. Cannot fault the service I received, but as the market leader this should be the case.

Had a leak from inside the drum on my Hozelock hose+reel and was advised to get a specific part from them though I'd already told then I didn't think it would work. It didn't and there were no other solutions. They eventually refunded the cost (including postage) of the new part with a freepost label to return it. However, it took multiple emails to Customer Services to get this result (from 28th June to 6th August). The agents were all polite but it the procedures were just very slow and I had to re-send information and re-explain the issue a few times. Hence only 3 *s.
