We were asked to provide uprights on which the contractors could mount a board supporting the electronic meters etc. Contractors arrived with no board. We also supplied ballast to weigh things down and ducted underground cable. Panels installed on ground based bins with no attempt at uniformity and connecting wires left unguarded and a trip hazard. Internally the meters etc were sited where a window is intended. All rubbish left behind. Revisit by contractors solved many of the appearance issues, but we still need to tidy up the structure supporting the batteries and meters. Internal problem rectified. All rubbish left behind again. We were under the impression from HSL that no smart meter was necessary to be reimbursed for power exported to the grid. This is not true and we now have a new smart meter. The £800+ worth of interim exports will not be repaid, but I gather all is now operating satisfactorily. All in all, far too much customer input required to make things work.

Our experience with HomeSmart personnel has been a delight! Steve, Harley sold us on the products. Chase & Dillon did a great job installing the MLI & solar fan. They are knowledgeable & very respectful... truly a pleasure.

They approached me when they were doing a job in my area. I had been thinking of replacing my gutters, fascias and down pipes for some time as they were the original ones from when the house was first built in 1949. When I expressed interest they then sent someone around to discuss in detail what I wanted. They spent a great deal of time ensuring that I knew what I wanted and that I wasn't being pushed into doing something I didn't really need. They sent a surveyor around and we agreed a price. As I was going away within a few weeks a date was agreed that would ensure the work would be completed before I went. However there was a change of plans and the work was brought forward. The 2 men who did the work were very organised, immediately got on with it and yet were friendly and kept me informed as to what they were doing. At the end they tidied up thoroughly and left everything nice and tidy. One thing that impressed me was that on the second day it became apparent the surveyor had left out the gutters on a single story utility room. So the workers didn't have the materials to do it. I spoke to HomeSmart and they sent out the materials to my house so that the workers were able to do it while they were still there. During the whole process they checked up several times that everything was going OK. Overall it was a pleasant, hassle free experience.

Great Company, very prompt and helpful. They are not the cheapest but the price reflects their quality which is to the highest standards and i couldn’t be more happy with the install. The guys were professional and left the property clean and tidy. No corners cut and very good attention to details. 5 * service!

They talked to us during the whole process from start to finish and have called a few times to make sure everything is running smoothly. The workmen were very polite, did the job well and were very tidy.

We were very impressed from the start. No heavy sale, a polite friendly and informative chat made us realise that the work we knew had to be done could be entrusted with this company; we agreed on a price and then waited for the day agreed upon. We were contacted by their administrator to check we understood what would be done and when. On the day that Ben and Sean arrived they were very polite and got on with their task of replacing gutters, down pipes, facias and soffits. They were cheerful friendly and very polite and particularly grateful for the drinks and bacon butties we supplied. They spent two days completing the work and cleared away all the old gutters etc and any mess they had made during installation of the new. When completed they showed us the work and asked us to check every thing. We were highly delighted and would definitely highly recommend them to anybody that wanted a company they could trust with very high standards, fair price and excellent workmanship. Well done A+

Very pleased with the product (Conservatory Doors) and the installation. The installer was hard working, pleasant to talk to, tidy and knowledgeable. Cannot praise them highly enough.

HomeSmart have done a fabulous job replacing all our windows, doors and guttering. Everyone we have had contact with were courteous and friendly and thoroughly professional in their approach and always cleared everything away after finishing each day. We could not be happier with the work.

I had a solar power system installed on 31st January 2023. I have tried repeatedly to obtain an MCS certificate, necessary to get an agreement to sell excess power to the grid. There have been many excuses, but on 24th June, I still do not have the certificate. On the 4th June, the system started to malfunction. Since that date my 4.8kW system has delivered an average of about 5.5kWh per day on long sunny days. I cannot get any plan to fix the problem, nor any estimate of a rectification date. Meanwhile, I am spending money on electricity and gas from the grid in the middle of summer. If HomeSmart do not have the skills/resources to provide an acceptable level of post sales support, they should not be in the business of selling solar power systems.

The whole experience went smoothly and stress free. On the initial visit Mark, explained the soffit and fascia system clearly as well as the process. The communication from the surveyor and another Mark from the office was excellent keeping me up to date at every stage leading up to the installation. The installation itself was done by Sean and Ben who were brilliant doing an fantastic job again taking the time to explain progress. The worked tidily and efficiently with minimum disruption and noise. Finally but probably most important the finished product looks great and I would recommend HomeSmart to anyone.

Homesmart installations replaced our poor condition concrete drive with a block stone one. There were several delays to the start date for various reasons some due to the weather. Once the job started there were more delays partly due to a drainage issue which was not considered before the job started, although they were advised there could be a issue prior to the job starting. Initially we were advised that the job would take approximately a week to complete but took exactly a month to complete. Although the job seemed to take a long time to complete the finished job was very good.

We have recently had our facias, soffits and gutters replaced to remove the need for high reach decorative and more importantly preservative coating on our home. Our near neighbours have also had the same tranche of work completed by Homesmart Installations The process was brilliantly managed and undertaken by the entire team of people, from the initial visit from Paul to the installation by Willis and Mike. Our house has a conservatory at the rear and therefore required the installation of short term scaffolding. The scaffolding was installed by a separate contractor who was equally excellent in their work. The final product/result is a “thing of beauty” and thank you to all concerned. From start to finish we are delighted with the company and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. John and Elaine McCartney

The 2 guys that installed the system were friendly and knowledgeable. They installed patio doors and a window in good time and handed over with instructions after completing the work. One of the doors needs subsequent adjustment and currently won't double-lock but a follow up visit, already booked, should address that issue for me
