Plants are always late as Hayloft are just the retail part of a long production chain in the Netherlands so they shouldn’t really be giving estimates of dates. They are very expensive and you have to buy three of everything. I usually want one. I have stopped using them, no matter how seductive the catalogue. That’s not what you get, you get a fragile seedling in a 3cm plug that has had a traumatic journey. The “Hayloft Girls”, as customer service is described, in direct contravention of the Equality at Work Act 2010, don’t really know how computers work and are unhelpful, not following up on pleas for information. It took me two years to get the wrong species of cypripedium from them. Elite Orchids sent theirs in 3 days and they were much chunkier. Avoid Hayloft, you have been warned!

This company is very good at giving personal service. I placed an order. Not all of the items were available. I sent an email with a list of possible substitutes for the unavailable items and had a quick email back to say what they had picked for me. Items ordered on Sunday arrived at destination by Wednesday. I always get the feeling there is a kind, efficient human being at the other end of the line.
All plants were packed so well and all were healthy specimens and well developed.

Simple ordering procedure, enhanced by being encouraged to advise Hayloft of forthcoming holiday when I wouldn’t be there to receive the plant. I was nervous that the delivery company was Yodel but they were excellent in correctly predicting time of delivery and the driver was pleasant. The product arrived perfectly packed in good condition.
A short email exchange was necessary & their reply was prompt, helpful & courteous. I had good service & rapid delivery from Hayloft. They're recommended.
