so far this has been a horrible experience! It took over a month to get my account actually working after creating 2 accounts then having to make a new one and deleting the first 2. Every time I talked to someone else, they had no idea what was going on and would say "this is confusing"...meanwhile I had no idea what was going on, I just had to try to piece it all together as I went. I still don't have what I was told the system was capable of when I decided to sign up. I am still giving it a try but, it makes me wonder what will happen if I ever have any issues going forward. I feel all parties involved (can POS, evalon, and converge) should all be a bit more aware of how the other works.

My company was all set to do business with Canadian POS until they found out we are in the Tourism market Now they won't touch us

Hate the service, I called many times and they don’t call back, was never told I would be stuck with a 48 month lease for a terminal I am not using since I have been trying to return it just a couple weeks after having it.. now ladco says I owe them 2000$ to terminate the lease... I was lied to, I was told if I cancel all I had to pay is one month of fees never was I stuck with an unbreakable 48 months lease!

Be careful. They will sell you on the fact that there is no cancellation fee giving you a false sense of security only to stick you with a 4 year lease for the POS terminals with a 3rd party.

Sales and information's were very poor. Not explained accurate terms and conditions,and about hidden charges.

I was promised considerable savings vs. my current provider. Math was C/C company charge + the processor's 0.2% which amounted to less than 2%. That was the reason I agreed to a steep setup charge that was not there with my current provider! The test came as a big disappointment. The very first charge came at 5 bp above (!) what I am paying elsewhere. I knew it would not be as sweet as they say, but I never expected it to by a total LIE! Guess how much business you will see from us and what kind of reviews I will post wherever I can.

One, out of the four terminals we received did not work. It was replaced overnight. Excellent! I have not yet sorted out exactly how I am dealing with the gift certificates. Some aspects of the terminals are better, some aspects are not as good. The fact that we now have two different types of terminals and the software is not common for both types of terminals is a little bit problematic. They do not work the same and gift cards do not work on both types of terminals. It was not good to not have this fully understood upfront. CanPOS is working with me and showing strong interest in facilitating a smooth transition on gift cards.

Having difficulty contacting anyone and when I do they are not following through on commitments that they make. I hope things will improve when this health emergency is over.

It's a pretty good system. However, the techs couldn't figure out the wifi system, a problem with it saying its insecure when in actuality it is secure. Also, it can batch out on its own, but it can't print a copy automatically. However, it is still fairly early in usage when they requested this review, so it may be inaccurate.

Nous avons été servi dans un délais trop long pour la mise en route du terminal, le terminal était défectueux. Le deuxième est arrivé rapidement, mais il ne fonctionne pas très bien, affiche régulièrement que la carte est refusée. Le service après-vente nous ont permis de régler rapidement la situation et le nouveau terminal fonctionne très bien. Cette nouvelle technologie est de loin en avance sur les autres types de terminal.
