I've recently received a Cookaway box as a suprise gift from my friend and overall, it was very positive experience from the start to finish. The packaging and the products are high end and l am really impressed with the philosophy behind it. Instructions are very clear and we really enjoyed cooking together as a family. Unpacking our order was exciting, we had the Greek breakfast. The contents were well protected and very well done. The food supplied was excellent and of very good quality. The recipies were easy to follow and the cooking schedule supplied was very helpful. We had a lovely brunch and it did us two days there was so much of it. One problem, no sunshine, had to eat inside.

I loved the Greek Meze Experience enhanced by Irini from Crete being involved in its development. Delivered on time, well presented and with generous portions of quality ingredients. Clear cooking instructions and a great playlist too. This was a well chosen gift from a company with a well designed product.

Excellent food and instructions

I thoroughly enjoyed making this meal. The ingredients arrived well packaged and looking lovely. The only ingredients I had to provide was milk and pepper. The instructions were very clear. One small ingredient appeared to be missing but it wasn’t a problem and the other ingredients were generously portioned, particularly the venison which was excellent. The four parts to the recipe was a bit complicated, but I really enjoyed that. I gave it plenty of time managed everything perfectly. The final meal was totally delicious. I got a great meal, an enjoyable challenge, and a real sense of achievement

We chose the Malaysian street market, there was so much to do for each individual dish, it just didn’t come out as hoped. I put so much time into following each recipe and getting the timings all right. After contacting customer service I had a phone call from one of their representatives who understood my frustration and wanted to make things right. The customer service has been excellent from Giedre. I have placed another order to give it another try at hopefully a simpler dish! I shall place another review once consumed!

I brought this as a gift for fathers day as he loves cooking. great gift. had everything in it he needed and both my parents really enjoyed cooking together. nice ingredients and nice packaging. Only thing i was a bit disappointed about was when it was delivered it was just left on the door step instead of knocking so we could put it in the fridge asap. we were lucky as we saw it, if we hadn't it could of been sat out in the sun for a while, with prawns in it.

The Corfu Chicken Pastitsada kit from The Cookaway was purchased for a pre birthday date night with my husband . The instructions were really straightforward and the quality of the ingredients top notch . I loved the presentation of the ingredients and the QR code link to music and further information. Cooking the meal was a great shared experience and the finished meal was absolutely delicious 😋

My husband and I have thoroughly enjoyed cooking experience with Cookaway for the first time. The kit came promptly on the day I ordered it for, in a very solid box where I found all the ingredients packed with a lot care. I think preparing and cooking time depends on everyone's skills. We are not experienced in cooking so many dishes at once and it took us quite awhile to complete the project but we had a lot of fun and at the end enjoyed every bit of it. I will be reordering this meal to cook for our neighbors and many more in the future. Thank you.

Very costly for what was supplied

The finished meal was delicious but we found the instructions really difficult. Perhaps this was made worse because we had 2 dishes making it quite difficult to time the dishes to finish together. I add that we are experienced cooks. Good luck with your business.

Bought this as a gift for my daughter in law,but of a mix up with delivery but quickly sorted! Delivery arrived on time and by all accounts the food was delicious so a great success!
