We were bought a gift card, hadn’t experienced cookaway before. We decided to go for the steak, ingredients were good quality, everything came packed really well, easy to order, was a different experience than going out for a meal. I personally didn’t feel there was enough steak for 2 people once fat removed. Sauce was tricky to make but I am no chef. It was maybe a more difficult one to try, we still have some money left to use so will be trying another dish to compare. Was good to try it, good for a gift for people who enjoy cooking.
We ordered the Pakistani chicken handi which was lovely. Excellent customer service from Giedre. Clear instructions in the pack. Would love to try another dish.

I purchased the Indian Street Food Experience for my wife for her birthday. Traditionally we go out for an indian meal but this showed up on Google so i thought i would give it a try and i'm very pleased to say, i'm glad i did! We both had a great time preparing and cooking this together (i wouldn't fancy doing it on my own as there was a fair amount to do though!). First things first, this is not a 'Hello Fresh' type meal kit, its a very well thought out selection of very high quality ingredients and great instructions. The kit also has a playlist of music on spotify to accompany you in the kitchen! such a great idea! the end result was FANTASTIC. every item was like something i would expect from a high quality restaurant, i couldn't beleive we actually made it! Brilliant food, Brilliant night. Will be back again for sure!
Easy to follow instructions - delicious result.
We ordered the Greek Meze box, and also the Chicken Slouvaki. Both were excellent. All ingredients were, high quality and very fresh. Recipe cards and timing sheets were helpful and easy to follow and it was a lot of fun to prepare on a sunny summers day! Definitely recommend and would use again.

Was given a voucher for my birthday and blown away by the quality of the Greek Brunch. Easy to follow instructions including a super handy timings sheet and tick list. So tasty
Good quality ingredients, simple instructions. Very good for dinner parties etc. I had the Spanish tapas feast box for 2-3 and everyone enjoyed it.
Our Cookaway Greek Meze voucher was bough for us as a birthday present. We couldn’t have asked for a better gift. Ordering was so easy, we just picked our delivery date and we were told when our parcel was ready for delivery, it arrived exactly when they said it would. Fresh produce was excellent quality, all other ingredients were packed and labelled for each dish. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. We had a perfect meal. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to buy for themselves or a gift. A**
I like that you're not tied to a subscription and can pick from a variety of meals. Ours was delicious and we'll use Cookaway for another date night.

Fantastic customer service, really good company to deal with. The meal kits are delicious and - given how many different ingredients and how many different containers there are - I think they're pretty good value. The instructions are a little complicated, and sometimes contradict themselves (hence 4 stars rather than 5) but the end result is very tasty.
Hi there, Good bits we liked the recipes and it tasted good. Bad bits My partners issue was the time it took to prepare wasn't in the notes which would have helped a lot. Overall it was good. Customer Service are brilliant I needed to check some details.

Absolutely delicious food, well-designed recipes, first class ingredients. Unfortunately quite a lot of packaging, would be good to know which of it is recyclable.
Really enjoyed the food and the recipe was easy to follow but felt that 6 prawns between 2-3 people was not adequate. Had to top up the ingredients with our own prawns to make a decent meal. The meal itself was very tasty though.
