This is the third time I’ve used Clothes Doctor. Each time has been really difficult fabric and I’ve been convinced they would not be able to repair it. However, they have not only repaired each item but each time it’s been invisible and I am completely amazed. I don’t know how they do it and I can’t recommend them enough.
I gave earlier a one-star review and would like to correct this. After escalation, my jumper was nicely repaired and returned to me at no cost. Thank you!
The service from Clothes Doctor is always really reliable. I love the products which work brilliantly and smell fabulous. The sustainability of the packaging is well thought out and very stylish!
I have been using a number of Clothes Doctor products for almost 2 years now adding to their range as time goes on and appreciate the company ethics. My most used and loved products are the Tough Love which removes stains very effectively; the lovely natural fragranced Basil and Mandarin Liquid and Conditioner and the Clothing Spritz which I use in between washes to freshen clothes and save on the amount of wash times. A little goes a long way with every item too. Thank you Clothes Doctor
I sent the seamstresses my beautiful Roland Mouret wool coat for repair after years of devotion and the inevitable damage caused by living in London. The restoration work is a thing of beauty. The needlework is faultless. The coat looks absolutely fabulous. I am so very happy with the result. Thank you.
I came across the brand after purchasing the cashmere wash from one of my favourite cashmere companies. When I saw the range of products available on the CD website I had to try them and purchased some silk wash, moth repellent scent bags, garment mist spray and cashmere comb. I have the rescue me scent bags up at the moment and they smell lovely. I can’t wait to try the rest of the products! The packaging was excellent and customer service was extremely helpful! So glad to have found CD!
I work with wools and silk, and use No.3 (cashmere and wool) & No.4 (silk) for my goods. I've never had a problem with moths (touch wood!) and customers often comment on how soft the items are and how lovely they smell. I recommend Clothes Doctor to all of my customers, and although a few comment on the price, they're always surprised when I explain that only a tiny amount is needed.
I really love all of the products. They have a natural feel I make my clothes smell very nice. And it’s also fun to brush one’s clothes with their really nice brushes.
Very impressed with the alterations on my jacket and trousers. Very high quality work. I will certainly do business with Clothes Doctor again.
Fast service and sustainable packaging, beautiful products
I've never had any problems with delivery and their products are second to none.
Have been using all Clothes Doctor products for the last two years and can see a huge improvement in how my clothes are 'ageing' - still retaining their bright colours and looking fresh for much longer than when I used my supermarket brands. What has surprised me most is that my whites are definitely whiter and brighter with the Eco No: 2 and a Iittle Tough Love added - I didn't think I'd get that result without harsher ingredients. I made the switch to Clothes Doctor for ethical and environmental reasons initially, but the products are outstanding in their gentle cleaning and the scents of all them are natural and light. Never going back to my old laundry products.
Really great products that are amazingly effective, while also being eco friendly and smelling great. such a revelation after having used the usual mainstream products for years.
I have had 6 or 7 pieces of clothing altered / repaired by Clothes Doctor over the last 3 years or so and have always found the service to be of a high standard. On some occasions, the mends were so good it took me a while to find them!
I have been using Clothes Doctor for many years and truly love the products. I use the Sports liquid for my husband’s (rather expensive!) cycling wear which is tricky stuff to launder - getting rid of sweat, mud etc whilst caring for the SPF fabric and No 5 does the job perfectly. I use the Cashmere and wool for cardis and the silk for my pillowcases and hair scrunchies. I also use the baby for my everyday clothes and bed sheets - why not! It smells lovely and cleans with care. The customer service is exemplary….any correspondence is replied swiftly. During the Royal Mail strike my pretty large delivery went astray; the team were amazing; no quibbles another order was sent out straight away via a different courier with no cost to me. A Five Star + company all the way :)
Dreadful experience. Customer 'Service' does not exist in this company. I too have received a dented and leaking product which is unusable. It was wrapped only in its shelf box, i.e. no protective bubble wrap or external box and have been emailing for five days with absolutely no response from anyone in the company. Their telephone number is constantly on answer phone and cuts off very quickly. Cannot recommend on ANY level. Avoid at all costs. Reply to your reply: The fact that you admit to not having a Customer Services telephone number and your email account is set up to reject many emails sent to you without notifying the sender in any way that their enquiry has not been delivered is testament to my review, i.e. your Customer Services department is non-existent. Your replies to this problem have consistently blamed me – the wronged party – for not being able to get through your defences which are clearly engineered to block any form of contact, even when there has been a serious problem.
I first discovered Clothes Doctor's wool detergent on Ocado. I now buy several of their other products regularly. I adore the fragrances, the performance and the environmentally friendly packaging. Their Customer Service is also top-notch :-)
Have used Clothing Doctor for a number of years and it is far better than the other eco detergents. I also like the aluminum bottle it comes in.
I came to ClothesDoctor when looking for wool wash and have been really impressed with this and other products specifically aimed at caring for natural fibres. They literally do what they say on the tin, and they're seeking to be as sustainable as they possibly can be.
Clothes Doctor is a fantastic discovery. I love their products and the Eco washing powder, sports wash and Tough love are amazing. The wool products have been brilliant for my battle against moths and I use their spray and a steamer on a jumper I have worn before putting it away. So far no moth holes!! I have been using their products for 2 years or so and am a big fan.
