So delighted today! My young dog decided to chew my brand new bag (an early Christmas present) he completely wrecked the zip. :( As luck would have it I was visiting Peppers Pet Pantry and it transpired that the lady I now know is Chris The Clothes Doctor, said how lovely the dogs were as I put them into the car. I blurted out “yes but look at what he’s done to my new bag!” And Chris said “I can fix that!’ So WOW totally thrilled to have a bag that is not gaping open and useable again. What a lovely, talented lady. I cannot recommend her enough. Your repairs are in safe hands. Thank you again Chris from the bottom of my heart. :)

Outstanding service. The moth hole in my beloved cashmere jumper was mended and returned wrapped around a fragrant lavender bag. Such a nice touch I am wearing the sweater right now as it has more years of use so the clothes doctor performing live saving cashmere surgery. Can't recommend them too highly.

The team at Clothes Doctor have provided me with the most incredible service - altering, fixing and adjusting around 20 items that I had in order to make them fit me absolutely perfectly. I am so happy with every piece I got back - it's honestly like having an entirely new wardrobe at my disposal in the tiniest amount of time. The process was phenomenally seamless too - they picked the items up, communicated with me throughout to ensure everything was being done to my requirements, and then hand delivered them back. I can't recommend them enough and will be using them time and time again for this sort of tailoring, as well as suggesting to all my friends to do the same.

Easy, fast service with great results. I sent two coats in to have the sleeves taken up. I've been meaning to do it for years but never gotten around to it, but this was so simple it seemed too good to be true. I took the coats with me to work and the courier came by later that day to pick them up. Less than a week later my coats were delivered back to me, beautifully packed with a little lavender bag in there as well so they smelled beautiful! The sleeves were perfectly done, would absolutely recommend to anyone and the pricing seems very reasonable for the service you get.

I cannot believe what a good job the Clothes Doctor seamstresses have done. I gave them four garments - one was a relatively easy dress shortening (done perfectly) but three were complicated. I had a pair of jeans I was going to throw away with a massive hole in the crotch (!) and they are now wearable again for a lot less money than I've had spent on a new pair. I also sent them a dress for relining - and it's been done much better than a previous seamstress. But the one that has astounded me was a beautiful part-leather jacket with silk panels. The silk had been really badly ripped and I thought I'd never be able to wear it again. The quality of the work they did on this was outstanding. I can't recommend this service enough - not only is it so much less wasteful and environmentally-friendly than getting new clothes, but it's also really lovely when you get an old favourite that you've been unable to wear back. So thank you! If you want a quality garment to be fixed really, really well, this is the company for you.

I took in a couple of new T-shirts I needed shortening for a forthcoming holiday. They listened to what I requested and a couple of days later they were dropped back to me, beautifully packed in tissue paper. They have done an extremely professional job and no-one would know they have been altered in any way. I'm really pleased with them and highly recommend these two ladies.

For the first time in ages I have some jeans that are the right length for me. I'm really pleased with the job and love the fact that my trousers came back wrapped and with a little lavender-filled bag, it's been popped straight in my drawer and am already thinking about what to get altered next.
