My children's old nanny introduced me to the Clothes Doctor products as we looked for a higher quality and more ecologically friendly alternative to some more high street brands... we've been delighted with it - leaves clothes in great condition, the kids love the smell and feel, as do we. And they've been a breeze to order products from as well (which we've done multiple times in various combinations now) - zero issues. Big endorse for anyone who is serious about treating clothes the right way!

We swear by the cashmere wash. Have shown our cleaner and she now clearly understands the importance of looking after expensive garments as best you can.. recommend. We found them at npeal

I had a nice quality, fairly new flannel nightshirt which, unfortunately, I caught hold of wrongly when I was taking it off and it ripped just near the seam. By the time I had taken it off completely, with being warm, the garment was sticking to me and the fabric had torn about two thirds of the way up, making it unusable (think what happens if you're tearing cloth to make dusters - to get it started takes a lot of effort but then it just tears at the slightest touch). I contacted the Clothes Doctor and they have repaired it brilliantly. I would strongly recommend their repair service, especially for expensive items or for garments that have a lot of sentimental value. They are amazing, they do proper, high quality repairs like people used to do in the old days.

Be very careful when ordering a product from the Clothes Doctor. When you order a product they put you in a reoccurring order procedure and sent you products automatically. I certainly never ordered a second product that arrived out of the blue. I am trying to return it, will see how that goes.

Ordered 28 July 24. It is now 19 August 24 and I have yet to receive goods or any communication. Order status on my account states paid and unfulfilled. I have emailed twice with no response from customer services. Hopeless customer services

This is my second order. I had delays on the first order and thought it was just bad luck. Now I’ve been waiting three weeks for this new order. Very bad service. I won’t be back and this poor efficiency will be why this company inevitably will fail. Response to Clothes Doctor reply: My first order was indeed delayed but not nearly as much as the second, which is why I wrote this review. In the second order, I only found out about one of the products being out of stock because I emailed to see why my order hadn’t arrived. You did not let me know until then. You could have sent through the other items, rather than leaving me unsupplied for a month. Also, rather than being passive-aggressively defensive, how about admitting to your shortcomings and apologising? An apology goes a long way in creating goodwill, your response does not.

Do not trust this company. I placed a regular order and weeks later they “subscribed” me without my permission and sent me more orders. Also they never responded when my first order was lost. Moreover their product does not last - only good for a short time - a product like this should be good for a year or more. DON’T BUY!!!

Terrible. A poor quality product, the scent bags arrived half full. 2 were missing. The response from them has been poor, claiming they have emailed which they have not. Totally misleading. They wanted me to send back an order of some “missing” items which was would be funny if I hadn’t wasted £46 buying what is utter rubbish In response to the long waffle below; try not being rude and dismissive of customers when they politely reach out. Fix your fire wall - unbelievable. Seriously if you want to run a business own it from beginning to end and don’t fleece people. There is no excuse for rudeness or not providing a good quality product and service

The despatch and delivery was slow. The product is nothing more than a marginally enhanced lavendar bag. This morning I found two moths sitting on one of the 3 bags! Don't waste your money. Buy lavender by the kilo, cut up an old pillow case into a 25 cm circle, spoon 5 tabsp of lavender and 5 drops of lavender oil) tie up and place in cupboards and you've done the same for a fraction of the cost!

Waited 2 months for items, when delivered key piece missing. No reply from customer services. Items I did receive were expensive for what they were. Amateur. Do not recommend, would never order again.

Can’t comment on the products as after 2 weeks they still haven’t arrived despite paying for express delivery. Contacted to chase and after waiting another week for a response I am told my order is pending. In this day and age this is really poor service.

If I could give no stars I could. I ordered spray and lavender satchels, there arrived in good time and was happy. A month later I then received an email saying another payment had been taken and my order was due to be dispatched. At no point was I aware I had signed up to a subscription! This is not made clear on their website. I emailed then immediately asking to cancel the order/subscription. No response and the next day the goods arrived. I promptly returned these with tracked shipping at my own expense the next day. The order was delivered back and I have proof of postage. Its now two weeks later, I have no refund and one email on communication from them. I will not give up till I receive a refund! Do not but from this company! Terrible customer service!

I have previously ordered multiple times from the company. The mist spray smells great although the spray bottle broke quite early on making it difficult to use. And the satchels have been great for hanging in the closet and putting drawers with my sweaters. 4 stars on that front. But my recent order is a 1 star. First, one item was on back order with no indication on the site there would be a delay in shipping. Nor was it communicated over email that my other items would be delayed due to this. Second, it’s now been nearly two months and STILL they haven’t delivered anything. Updated to 3 stars as they did issue me a refund finally after 2 months of my order going unfulfilled. Will order sprays and scents from them in future but not the laundry detergents as that seems to be the back order issue.

I ordered their products to Germany. My order was for 86 euros and I ended up paying 90 euros tax and import duties. There was no indication on their website or in the checkout that tax and import would cost more than the products themselves. Their customer service is also slow and refused to answer why I had to pay more to import their products than the value of the products.

I used the clothes doctor repair service, and I cannot state enough how appalling it is. I sent off two items, a linen Tshirt and jumper that needed holes repaired. The tshirt came back semi okay, however, the jumper came back a complete mess, loops weren’t caught, the tension was completely out, a light stretch meant that it came undone immediately. It was supposedly “darned” but it not what darning looks like from my experience. I contacted them to have a refund, as I did feel like whoever did it had the skills required, and I had a reply saying that I over stretched it and that a better mend wasn’t possible. My refund request has been ignored repeatedly. Ellie comes across as quite rude. Just be aware if you’re sending off expensive items, there are better repair people out there.

I brought 3 scent bags to get rid of moths, but they don't work, I still had moths in the areas I placed the bags, despite regularly crushing the bags as advised. CD customer service is also lacking. I made an enquiry and it took weeks for them to answer a simple question, mainly because the rep sent my question to management and they did not respond to their own rep! The rep repeatedly asked for the same information I sent them too, showing lack of attention to detail. Also, CD do not state on their website when products are out of stock. I only found out an item was out of stock when I enquired about it with customer service who told me it was on back order, but they were still accepting orders online without informing customers. Really poor brand and overly expensive in my opinion. You can buy similar products for half the price with the same ingredients, with double the amounts they are selling. Won't be buying again. Update 13.06.24: CD has requested I verify I am a legitimate customer. I sent them my order number. As CD requested, I sent them an email also including my order number.

I have been looking for someone to repair numerous moth holes in several cashmere cardigans and jumpers of various colours for YEARS and finally found Ellie at Clothes Doctor - and I'm so relieved and delighted I did. This service has rescued my (and my husband's) wardrobe. The quality of work and obvious care taken is amazing. Thank you so much Ellie and team!

What a waste of money!! This stuff barely has any scent at all. Complete rip off.
