Chewy coupons are a scam. I have ordered and done business with Chewy since 2011. I have been a faithful buyer of theirs all these years. My Gracie and Chester died in 2020 and 2016 respectively and all Chewy customer service did was give me grief when I tried to order something for their graves. I have received two coupons from their pharmacy. I tried to use one of them for my vetmedin medication for Abby and the pharmacy customer service said none of my coupons were any good and she refused to use them even though there was no expiration date. She refused to take down my second coupon code and was thoroughly RUDE to me throughout the phone call. What a SCAM they have become.
Chewy always makes things right if there’s an error.
I have to share my story and say I am Chewy.com’s #1 fan. For about two years they been so easy to order from and always provided quick shipping. But when I had to cancel my auto-ship for kidney diet food because we had just put our precious cockapoo Benji to sleep, I was blown away by their response. Not only did they refund the last shipment because we hadn’t even opened it, but they said not to return it but donate it to a local shelter instead. Amazing response! But listen, it gets even better. I received the most thoughtful and heartfelt email reply from Joanna M. that I think I’ve ever received from a company. I was a raving fan because of that, but then they went above and beyond the next week when they sent a sympathy flower bouquet from a local florist. I mean, wow - who does that? Chewy.com does, that’s who! I plan to now order treats for my daughter’s cat, and if the day ever comes that we have another dog (it will for sure be hard to replace sweet Benji) I absolutely 100% will order from Chewy.com again. My family really appreciated the above and beyond response they had. I recommend Chewy.com as they are an amazing company and have truly earned my business!
My poor poodle, Lola, became very ill with pancreatitis, and could no longer eat the kibble that I had on autoshipment. My shipment had recently arrived and I contacted Chewy's customer service chat online to find out if I could return the unopened kibble and be refunded. I spoke to Tatiana U, who not only immediately authorized a refund to my account, but generously stated that I could donate the unopened kibble valued at $83 to my favorite rescue or shelter. In addition, she was incredibly sympathetic and so genuine, that it moved me to tears. It is this kind of human kindness that makes companies like Chewy worth doing business in my book. Thanks for being a great human being, Tatiana U., you are a true asset to Chewy!
Horrible customer service. Placed order, money taken immediately out of my account. No confirmation, invoice or shipping info sent. Three days later items still not shipped. Again terrible customer service, cancelled order. Ordered from AMAZON instead.
We have bought products from Chewy off and on through the years for our pets. When our dog, Marlee had to go on Vedmedin and Lasix for congestive heart failure and a severe mitral valve regurgitation, we switched the prescriptions to Chewy. The medications came extremely fast and were much cheaper than our vet. We had to put Marlee to sleep on August 5, 2024. When I canceled her AutoShip on the prescriptions, I told them that she had been put to sleep. A few days later, a box arrived from Chewy with a handwritten card, expressing their condolences and a hand painted rock with her name, rainbows and hearts on it. It was very touching and we appreciate their kindness and compassion. Thanks especially to Colton.
We lost our beloved dog PK. She was such a loving little girl, and we are lost without her. We called customer service. They were wonderful. They listened with such empathy. The very next morning, they sent us flowers. WHAT COMPANY DOES THIS ANYMORE??? NONE We say this from the bottom of my broken heart: I will tell everyone that CHEWY.COM IS THE BEST! Best customer service ever. Had some confusion on my dogs script. Immediate response, a real person that spoke English answered the customer service phone and she was great ! Followed up by phone and email 2 hours later with resolution. Cannot say enough good things about my experience. Chewy will be my choice in the future.
I had never used Chewy before. I want to give a true heartfelt thank you to Chewy, the pet supplies company. On my standard poodle, Coco's release from the Hickory pet emergency hospital on July 25th we contacted Chewy on line to purchase her needed meds as they were hundreds of $$$ cheaper than through the vet. All total for her meds and Rx food was over $300. We placed the order on 7/26 and the items began arriving on 7/29. Our beloved Coco passed on 8/7. All of the items we purchased had been received and some of the meds had been administered to Coco. After her passing I reached out to Chewy to see if the unopened Rx and food could be returned as Coco had passed. Within minutes I heard from Chewy acknowledging our loss and offering comfort and more. They refunded 100% of the money we had paid and said we could donate the meds and food to our local shelter or rescue facility. My heart was filled with love and joy that a large corporation could feel our loss and flowed with it. Then just yesterday we received a package from Chewy's customer service department. It was a garden stone hand painted with flowers and Coco's name along with a wonderful handwritten sympathy note. I thank Chewy along with Megan M. and Charmaine R. for their love and kindness. If we ever get another dog we will use Chewy again.
After weeks of very expensive and stressful vet tests, I learned tonight that my eldest cat is dying. I fudged up an order for the products my vet recommended for palliative care. I immediately contacted customer service to correct my error, and they were amazing. They were kind, helpful, and empathetic. I have 4 cats and buy from Chewy very regularly—meds, toys, food, litter—and everything else. The prices are fantastic, but the customer service is really above and beyond. I believe I will be a customer for life <3
Chewy.com is the most reliable and thoughtful company. My dog passed away and I contact Chewy about a purchase I made which had already been shipped. Without a question, Chewy.com credited me for the merchandise and told me to donate it. What is even more amazing is that they sent me flowers. I can't believe the thoughtfulness of this Company. Thank you Chewy.com for making such a difficult time a little easier.
Don't bother, the order dates are totally unreliable and when you write to inquire about the shipping date they fake-email you back and it's full of more advertising. Will never order from them again. Ordered WELL in advance of date recommended for when I wanted my goods to arrive in time for my newly adopted dog's arrival date and they were WAY late and took no responsibility.
I have been a customer of Chewy for years. I have purchased dog & cat food, treats, and medicine. When Paulie's diet changed, they did refund me the cost of food. Recently, I learned a large grocer's pharmacy (membership) was able to provide my dog's meds. Heartworm meds price didn't change much. The Flea & Tick meds did change a lot. Chewy never offered a six month supply. New pharmacy sold me a six supply without asking. Chewy is a good company when you don't know what you need or where to get it.
My first time using Chewy. I ordered flea treatment for my cats. The price was extremely reasonable. I placed my order Saturday afternoon/evening. It was at my doorstep Monday afternoon when I got home from work! So fast! Perfect 😁
Pharmacy is incompetent. They acknowledged receiving my script but for some reason I had to contact my vet. My vet had no idea what they were talking about. I emailed Chewy and told them to please send my order asap. Now they deny receipt of my script and they have the ability to delete their previous message in the app to update it with pending receipt of prescription. And had the nerve to tell me it takes 21 days for regular mail (I made the mistake to not send it priority). My vet refuses to deal with Chewy because it’s non stop problems. Now I know why. I will never deal with chewy again. There are other vet pharmacies that I’m sure are competent, unlike Chewy.
Ordered items August 2nd. Only part of the order arrived after being told for 3 days the "order out for delivery". When it arrived it was damaged. Replacement never arrived. Another replacement damaged. Another replacement arrived and was clearly damaged before it was ever packaged for shipping. Won't be ordering from Chewy ever again.
My Pembroke Corgi, Gabby, 11 yrs old passed away on 6/29/24. I don't remember telling Chewy's about it but today, 8/9/24 I received the most wonderful card of condolences and a beautiful rock paper weight with Gabby's name painted on it. I will forever shop at Chew's because not only of their great products but most importantly for their loving consideration. I have never known of a company as large as Chewy's to take the time to remember a beloved pet. THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!! My tears are of pure joy and missing my Gabby. Chewy has always answered any call I placed within a few rings. I was never transferred, put on hold, or had to press multiple buttons to get to who I needed to talk to. Their prices are always better than others and their customer service is unparalleled. I had to cancel an autoship order due to my dog passing and they sent me the most kind and sincere email in response, and then I received flowers from them the next day.
I love everything about Chewy. The products for my puppy, the CS staff and just how the co. Operates. They really love what they do. Thank a you 🙏❤️❤️
Our ‘pup’ passed about a week ago. He would have been 15 years in October. The loss has been difficult and when CSR (Ethiopia) was informed she offered her sincere condolences. Much appreciated. Then, last evening the florist arrived with a bouquet of flowers and beautiful HANDWRITTEN note from Ethiopia. Thank you all at Chewy for understanding and love you have given us.
