Even one star is too much absolute shambles of a company

I have been with Ceracare a while left once and returned very rewarding I feel very supported by my team and manager

Formerly Homecare4u, now Ceracare. So much support from all departments. New upto date technology which enhances client care. Quality of care is at the forefront. Great training and recruitment teams.

I am a carer employed for the last 2 years at Oldham branch 100% devoted to the clients I care for .Training is upto date and have good communcations with Managers who go out of there way to support myself and clients alike .

The care given to my mum was adequate but food was stolen. I didn’t mind too much about the food but now that my mum is at end of life, I’ve realised her engagement ring and wedding rings are gone. And also my gran’s rings. I have no evidence so can’t pursue this but it’s extremely upsetting. We were too naive and trusting, and didn’t keep an eye on valuables. If you use this company keep everything locked away. EDIT: To respond to the comment below, I have already contacted Cera. They suggested I contact the police which I have done. As there is no evidence there is nothing the police can do

If you love your family do not come near this company. My mum in hospital for the 4th time on their watch ...never happened before, staff gave mum covid, they eat her food, take her belongings and are criminals. Management are all related refused to give me head office details to complain/very cliquey. Not sure care staff are even basically trained. Second safeguarding review coming. Have told the hospital not to let CeraCare/Homecare4U near my mum. Now I'm too scared too let them be with my mum on her own. Just tried to phone head office - haven't got voicemail message service phone just cut dead. SHAM NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. THEY ONLY GET ONE STAR BECAUSE I CAN'T GIVE THEM 0 STARS

I am an employee of cera care and beforehand Mears I would like to say that cera care is far better then mears ever was I have been working for companies now in my eighth year and thoroughly enjoy my work and always give 100% to any clients I am looking after and if I go over my time so be it as long as clients are happy

I don’t even want to give this company one star! They’ve been caring for my grandmother for nearly a year and the service/company is diabolical. My grandmother is bedridden and the Carers come in a few times a day. So far they’ve broken so many things, they don’t clear up after themselves, they’ve overdosed my grandmother on her daily medications and now they’ve been leaving her in urine soaked bedding which had now had her admitted to hospital AGAIN! My grandmother is paying for this care herself, and I have to say there are a couple of Carers that actually care but they can’t come every day or even every week. She’s refusing to change companies at the moment, and this is causing my mother undue stress as she is constantly having to travel to my grandmothers to clear up after them and check up on them thats they’re actually feeding her and doing what they’re paid to do. Which most of them aren’t! My grandmother is paying for a service that is beyond disgusting. This is Trowbridge, Wiltshire.

My nan was being looked after by this company in Milton Keynes they useless people they only employee 1or 2 people that care about the older bed ridden people they have left my nans door unlocked more times than I care to say key code open more than 3 times so anyone could have robed her and. left cups with lids off so my nans droped them all over her lucky she didn't scolded herself with it the quilt soaked it up thank God. they rude and don't believe what you tell them about the rude and incompetent staff. the office people just as stupid and very unsatisfied with this company in stony Stratford Milton Keynes

I worked for Mears, now Cera Care for just over a year, do not put down on your application that you can driver because you will be driving your car to the ground using hundreds of pounds of petrol a week!!! Working for NOTHING!! You get £2.50 petrol for a half day! £5 for a full day!! Whilst your partner is living the life getting paid for YOU driving them around like a shofer. The pay is disgusting for what you do!! They advertise on Indeed you get paid hourly which is incorrect. You get paid per call which is £2 odd for a 15 minute call and £4 odd for a half hour call. If one of your clients gets sent into hospital or passes away you lose the call they take months to replace a call. You get the office phoning on all your days off blowing up your phone to work extra and when you decline you get nothing but slagged off for not working extra! Or they make you feel guilty saying nobody else to cover it. In my opinion avoid like the plague. There’s so many more great jobs out there, this isn’t one!!!

Cera provided two excellent carers for my mother, Hanna for overnight care and then Mehmuda for live-in, both very experienced, caring and professional. Mum initially resisted the idea of having carers but became very fond of them both. Good support from the office team.

Good carers...poor communication from CERA

We were so fortunate to get a 24/7 Carer for my Mum. The Carer was kind, caring and genuinely affectionate to Mum’s needs. In addition Cera enabled us to get a Carer that was a good cultural fit for Mum which enabled integration into family life right from the start. Thank you!

Cera care helped us in a very difficult situation, the contact we had we Romany from head office was always great and I felt she went the extra mile to help sort any issues that we did have.

Had to cancel the service due to poor admin and mediocre service

Excellent care and Service provided by Jessie who lived in with our aunt while we had a break. She truly made her feel like a friend and helped out whilst helping her retain her independence. Will definitely use this team again.
